Abstract

Problem Based Learning Model is a learning model by focusing student with authentic problem so that student can construct their own mind, to grow and innovate higher skills, to make them believe in themselves. The aim of this research is to know the influence of Problem Based Learning Model toward the student achievement at statistical matery at grade V SD Negeri 3 Peukan Pidie. This research used quantitative approach and experiment by using  pre-experimental designs (non-designs) and one shot case study. Sample in this research consist of 33 students, those are 20 male and 13 female. Collecting data by using essay test. Data analysis to prove hypothesis by using t-test. From data analysis and proving hypothesis t-count = 8,12 at significant grade α = 0,05 and dk = n – 1 = 33 – 1 = 32, so distribution list t1 -α (dk) = t1- 0,05(32) found t0.95(32) =1,697. Because t-count  ˃  t-table = 8,12 ˃ 1,697 H0 rejected and H1 received. It can be concluded that the significant influence of Problem Based Learning Model toward student  achievement  at statistical matery at grade V SD Negeri 3 Peukan Pidie.

Abstract

In learning mathematics, it appears that students are less enthusiastic in participating in learning and their scores are low. This study aims to determine whether there is a significant influence of academic motivation on mathematics achievement at SDN 1 Mata Ie Aceh Besar. This research is a study that looks at the level of students' academic motivation through a scale of elementary students' mathematics learning motivation. The population in this study were all students in grades IV, V, and VI at SDN 1 Mata Ie Aceh Besar totaling 81 students and the samples were taken using a stratified random sampling technique where from each class 10 students were taken randomly, namely 5 students whose scores reached KKM and 5 students whose scores have not reached the KKM so that the total sample in this study amounted to 30 students. Data collection is done in two ways, namely by looking at the scores of students' academic motivation and the value of student report cards, especially in learning mathematics. To see the significant effect of academic motivation on students' mathematical achievement, the product moment correlation test and the F test at a significant level of 0.05 were used. From the results of data analysis, the value of Fcount = 3.029 and Ftable = 2.052, namely Fcount Ftable. Thus HO is rejected, so Ha is accepted and it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of academic motivation on mathematics achievement at SDN 1 Mata Ie Aceh Besar.

Abstract

Education is a shared responsibility, namely family, community and school. The family is a child's first educational institution. Parents play an important role in shaping their children, including developing a disciplined attitude. This study is entitled, "The Influence of Parental Education on Discipline Attitudes of Class VI Students at SD Negeri 24 Banda Aceh." The formulation of the problem in this study is to reveal "Does parental education have a significant effect on the discipline attitude of class VI students at SD Negeri 24 Banda Aceh?" The methodology used in this study is a quantitative approach with related research methods. The study was conducted at SD Negeri 24 Banda Aceh with a sample of 40 Class VI students. Data collection techniques using closed-ended questionnaires with Likert scales. Data analysis techniques used product-moment correlation tests, and hypothesis testing was performed using t-tests at a significance level of 5% (0.05) The results of the study showed that parental education and student disciplinary attitudes had a correlation value of (0.771) included in the strong category by contributing to the influence of parental education with 59.5% disciplinary attitude of class VI students. The results of testing the hypothesis obtained t-count 7.474, this indicates that t-count (7.474) t-table (2.021) therefore it can be concluded that Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted. Thus the conclusion obtained is that there is a significant influence of parents on the disciplinary attitude of class VI students at SD Negeri 24 Banda Aceh.Keywords :  Parent Education, Discipline attitude, Students

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of students' interest in Social Science lessons. The formulation of the research problem is whether the combination of the lecture method with the group work method has an effect on the Social Science learning outcomes of Class VI students? and how does the combined influence of the lecture method with the group work method on the learning motivation of Class VI students? This study aims to determine the effect of the combined lecture method with the group work method on the Social Science learning outcomes of Class VI students and to determine the effectiveness of the combined lecture method with the group work method in increasing the Social Science learning motivation of Class VI students. This research was conducted in July-October 2020, at SD Negeri 47/IV Jambi City. This type of research is classroom action research with 2 cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Techniques and data collection tools in this study were field notes, list of student scores and student tests. The results of this study indicate that with the lecture method and group work method, student learning outcomes increase by 85%. It was concluded that the lecture method with the group work method could improve student learning outcomes and motivation.

Abstract

ABSTRAKHal ini terlihat dari perilaku siswa yang kurang baik, seperti tidak menyapa saat masuk kelas, mengabaikan nasehat guru dan memilih teman. Melihat keadaan tersebut, pengembangan dan pendidikan karakter bagi siswa SD Negeri 10 Blangkejeren masih sangat diperlukan. Salah satu upaya untuk mengembangkan karakter tersebut dapat melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tari saman SD Negeri 10 Blangkejeren. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai karakter siswa yang terdapat pada ekstrakurikuler tari saman SD Negeri 10 Blangkejeren. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan jenis deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data wawancara dan wawancara observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data Miles dan Huberman, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Nilai karakter digambarkan dalam bentuk nilai religius, etis, dan nilai-nilai sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat nilai karakter religius siswa dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berupa salam saat memasuki ruangan dan oray sebelum memulai kegiatan. Nilai etika siswa dalam ekstrakurikuler tari saman dapat dilihat ketika mereka mengenakan pakaian yang sopan dan mendengarkan nasihat pelatih dengan baik. Nilai sosial siswa dalam ekstrakurikuler tari saman terlihat ketika mereka bekerja sama dalam memadatkan gerak tari dan bekerja sama memecahkan masalah secara berkelompok. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya nilai karakter siswa dalam ekstrakurikuler tari saman dapat menjadi wahana pengembangan karakter bagi siswa SD Negeri 10 Blangkejeren. Abstract

Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini menyangkut bagaimana bentuk perencanaan, pelaksaanaan, dan hasil pembelajaran menggunakan alat peraga berupa permainan teka-teki jigsaw untuk penjumlahan tanpa menyimpan. Permainan teka-teki jigsaw sebagai media pembelajaran Matematika dapat menarik perhatian siswa sehingga motivasi mereka untuk belajar meningkat yang berdampak pada hasil belajar siswa meningkat pula. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi deskriptif dengan pendekatan penelitian tindakan atau Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Data yang dikumpulkan merupakan data kualititatif yang dikumpulkan dari lingkungan nyata dengan peneliti sebagai instrumen utama. Langkah-langkah penelitian terdiri atas beberapa tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VI SDN 47 Kota Jambi sebanyak 30 anak. Hasil pengolahan data yang dilakukan peneliti sebanyak dua siklus. Masing-masing siklus menggunakan materi yang sama dengan perbaikan tertentu setelah melaksanakan refleksi dari kegiatan atau siklus pertama. Setelah melaksanakan evaluasi proses dan evaluasi hasil belajar, diperoleh simpulkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran permainan teka-teki jigsaw dapat meningkatkan hasil prestasi siswa dalam mempelajari konsep penjumlahan.

Abstract

The Role of Parents in Character Building Children's discipline is very large and has an important role. Education is a shared responsibility, namely family, community, and school. The family is the first educational institution for children. Parents take an important role in shaping children, including shaping the character of discipline. Parents have an important role in instilling attitudes, talents, and character in children. Cooperation between parents is very influential, a father who has the skills to lead and educate must be able to teach these skills to the mother where the mother is the one who spends the most time with the child even when the child is still in the womb. So that parents can provide adequate learning and love to their children. Parents have a responsibility to shape the character of their children. One of the characters taught in the family environment is discipline.Keywords: Parents, Discipline character of children.
