Abstract

This research aims to understand more about brand strategy by reviewing several articles related to brand space, brand equity distribution, and digital brand strategy. Brand strategy is an important aspect for the success of companies that aim to differentiate themselves in a competitive market and increase company value. In today's marketplace, where success is increasingly challenging, a well-executed brand strategy is recognized as a strategic economic resource and source of competitive advantage. Brand space is an important concept in a company's brand strategy to manage brand extensions from time to time. There is a phenomenon known as brand equity dilution which is a challenge in formulating brand strategy. Brand equity dilution is a situation where the value and strength of a brand can be reduced due to various factors. On the other hand, as time goes by, traditional marketing methods are no longer effective, giving rise to the use of technology in implementing brand strategies. Digital brand strategy is a marketing activity that aims to build a brand and build meaningful relationships with customers. The existence of challenges in formulating brands and the lack of research that discusses branding strategies on social media makes it necessary to carry out this research. Considering that currently companies need to adapt in carrying out brand strategies that are no longer traditional marketing methods.

Abstract

In order to achieve Indonesia Gold 2045, with one of the missions being an advanced economy country, Indonesia needs to increase its Gross Domestic Product (GDP). One of the programs is to improve the quality of human resources and science and technology, which is carried out through increasing research and development activities. After further review, it turns out that spending on research and development activities compared to Indonesia's Gross Domestic Product is still low, private participation in research and development is still less than the government. The government makes a policy of providing super tax deductions to companies that carry out certain research and development activities in Indonesia. This research was conducted to determine the critical success factors (CSF) or success factors that must be considered by policy makers in implementing super tax deduction for research and development activities, which were carried out with a post positivist approach and data collection by in-depth interviews. Critical Success Factors (CSF) analyzed are divided into 3 dimensions, namely relevance, effectiveness, and efficiency. In the dimension of relevance, the form of super tax deduction incentives is the right form if the cost factor constraint in hindering research and development activities carried out by the industry applies ceteris paribus, and it is necessary to adjust the form of incentives according to industry needs. In addition, it is necessary to determine clear overall policy targets with the preparation of performance indicators. The dimension of effectiveness shows that in implementing the policy, it is necessary to conduct an evaluation to find out the cause of the company's low enthusiasm in conducting research and development activities and proposing incentives, and it is necessary to increase the intensity of socialization and adequate coordination between the ministries/agencies involved. In terms of efficiency, the use of the Online Single Submission (OSS) system in the implementation of incentive submissions needs to be optimized by developing a synchronized OSS system and supporting transparency in policy implementation.

Abstract

The advancement of a company or business is an exceptional achievement for any company or business. Selecting the right promotion and diversifying products during critical stages in the product cycle are crucial in deciding the future success or closure of a business. There's no escaping the fact that the sales level serves as a pivotal indicator of whether a company can thrive in the business world. This research adopts a quantitative approach, with 100 SME perpetrators and owners in the Sorong district as respondents. The hypothesis posits that there is a correlation between promotion strategies, distribution channels, and sales volume. The test results support the alternative hypothesis (Ha) over the null hypothesis (Ho), indicating a significant influence of promotion and distribution channels on sales volume. Based on the regression equation Y = 17.049 + 0.511X1 + 0.356X2, it can be inferred that each unit increase in promotion and distribution levels leads to a respective increase in sales volume, keeping other factors constant. Hypothesis testing using F statistics revealed a significant Fcount of 70.728 compared to the critical Ftable value. This confirms the acceptance of Ha and the rejection of Ho. These findings imply that an increase in sales volume is positively impacted by effective promotion and distribution strategies, contributing to the overall health of SMEs.

Abstract

This research aims to examine and implement a strategy for determining the cost of production using cost plus pricing. The basic assumption of this research is that there are several MSMEs that still use conventional methods to determine the cost of production. The implication is that MSMEs have the potential to lose profits because the prices set are still far from actual profits. The application of the cost-plus pricing method in MSMEs can not only increase profit potential but also be used to promote products with price discounts. The research results show that there is a 640% increase in profits when MSMEs apply the cost-plus pricing method. In addition, at certain moments, MSMEs can provide discounts of up to 20% without losing profits. The limitation of this research lies in the scale of the object which is still small. Thus, this research cannot be generalized to be applied to different objects. However, this research provides recommendations for further research with larger objects, so that the differences can be seen.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to: 1) determine the number of developments in biopharmaceutical production, 2) determine the number of biopharmaceutical plant exports, and 3) determine the impact of biopharmaceutical plant production and exports on the agricultural sector's GDP growth rate from 2012 to 2022. This type of research employs quantitative panel data. Data on biopharmaceutical crop output, exports, and national income from 2012 to 2022 were obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and other sources. The data analysis technique employs correlation analysis and the F test. The study's findings demonstrate that: 1) biopharmaceutical plant production and export have a substantial impact on agricultural economic growth. 2) There is a positive association between biopharmaceutical crop production and exports and agricultural GDP growth, although this trend can be altered by a variety of external and internal factors. 3) This research, however, demonstrates that various fluctuations and issues must be addressed in order to secure the agricultural sector's long-term and equitable growth. Keywords:biopharmaceuticals, exports, production, growth rate
