Abstract

Some married couples decide to limit their offspring with clear reasons and are justified by the Shari'a, while others consider that having many children is a blessing for which one should be grateful. All of that is because everyone must have different perspectives, reasons and also different experiences in living a household life. Unlike the case with a handful of married couples who think that happiness in the household is not only obtained from the birth of a child. And marriage does not have to have children or offspring. In Indonesia, for example, we know the name Veronica Wilson, who decided not to have children. Likewise with Victoria Tunggono who decided to live a family life without having children who are popularly known as "Childfree". However, not a few among the Indonesian people questioned their decision and what was the reason behind the decision. This study aims to determine the public's view of childfree in Medan Johor District, Medan City. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data were obtained through direct field observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study concluded that the Medan Johor District Community stated that childfree is not a principle in married life. Because it is contrary to the Sunnah of the Prophet SAW. This can be seen from the statements of sources or informants that the author met when making direct observations in the field by proposing the child free theme.

Abstract

The politics of corruption in Indonesia has become an electoral culture for personal and group interests that makes people miserable. Indonesia itself is ranked 110th out of 180 countries in the world for corruption cases, so serious efforts are needed to prevent corrupt practices. The article uses qualitative research using the Maudu'i method by connecting verses from the Koran related to the topic of corruption. Primary data is the Koran, while secondary data comes from journal articles, web data and news related to corruption. This article explains the definition of corruption in the Koran and the urgency of corruption which clearly endangers the state, especially the role of the state in the welfare of the people. The verses of the Koran clearly provide instructions and prohibitions on corrupt practices which are prohibited in Islam. Islam itself explains that corrupt practices have existed since the time of the Prophet as described in the verses of the Koran. This article offers efforts to prevent corruption, including protecting the people by providing a sense of security, enforcing the law fairly, character revolution, increasing human resources through religious education.

Abstract

Kebangkitan bangsa barat bermuara pada khazanah ilmu pengetahuan dan metode berpikir yang dikembangkan umat Islam yakni rasional. Di antara jalur masuknya ilmu pengetahuan Islam ke Eropa yang terpenting adalah Spanyol. Ketika Spanyol Islam mengalami kejayaan, banyak orang-orang Eropa yang datang untuk belajar ke sana, kemudian menerjemahkan karya-karya ilmiah umat Islam. Hal ini dimulai sejak abad ke-12. Gerakan renaisans bangsa Eropa melahirkan perubahan-perubahan besar. Abad ke-16 dan ke-17 merupakan abad yang paling penting bagi kebangkitan Eropa, sementara pada akhir abad ke-17 itu pula, dunia Islam mulai mengalami kemunduran. Banyak penemuan-penemuan dalam segala lapangan ilmu pengetahuan dan kehidupan yang diperoleh orang-orang Eropa. Perkembangan itu semakin cepat setelah ditemukan mesin uap, yang kemudian melahirkan revolusi industri di Eropa. Teknologi perkapalan dan militer berkembang dengan pesat. Sehingga, dengan kekuatan baru yang mereka miliki, Eropa menjadi penguasa lautan dan bebas melakukan kegiatan ekonomi dan perdagangan dari dan ke seluruh dunia, tanpa mendapat hambatan berarti dari lawan-lawan mereka yang masih menggunakan persenjataan sederhana dan tradisional. Kemorosotan dunia Islam tidak terbatas pada bidang ilmu pengetahuan dan kebudayaan saja, melainkan mereka juga ketinggalan dari Eropa dalam industri perang, padahal keunggulan Turki Usmani di bidang ini pada masa-masa sebelumnya telah diakui oleh seluruh dunia.

Abstract

Teachers have part of the responsibility of parents to provide education, when children are delegated to teachers at school. Teachers are parents of students at school. As parents in schools, teachers should be responsible for the development of students, both cognitive, affective and psychomotor. Especially for Islamic Religious Education Teachers (PAI) who have a duty not only to transfer knowledge but also play a role in providing teaching and guidance related to students' religious attitudes. This study uses a qualitative approach, so that the main instrument in this study is the researcher. Data collection by observation and interviews. The results showed that the teacher has a role as corrector, inspiratory, informatory, organizer, motivator, initiator, facilitator, supervisor, class manager, and mediator. These many roles can make students have role models and can internalize religious values in them.

Abstract

Reading the Al-Qur’an is one way to acquire glory and primacy on the side of god communication is an important part of human life. So too is harmonious communication a desirable situation in the family. The family also has an important role to play in the development of a child's character, especially the morals of each child. Teaching children morality early on helps them socialize in families, neighborhoods, schools, and communities. Consistent with what is taught, children become accustomed to behaviors that reflect religious values. Implanting values and moral materials should go hand in hand by instilling virtue and overbearing children in moral behavior. This study is intended for us as parents to know what communication a child wants to have and how parents' role in instilling moral values is to make children have good character. Research methods use qualitative research methods. Research indicates that children's communication that should be understood by parents is important to children. In the cultivation of moral values also parents cannot follow the same manner of speaking or communication as their fellow adults. For when implanting value to children, parents must choose a young vocabulary that is understood and understood by the child

Abstract

This research uses a qualitative method. The aims of this research are, (1) to determine the application of the learning model, (2) to determine interest in learning, (3) to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors, and (4) to determine the evaluation of the use of the self-directed learning model in the subject. PAI at MTs Babul Ulum Tax Rambe Medan Labuhan. The results of this research show that students' interest in using self-directed learning methods at MTs Babul Ulum Tax Rambe Medan Labuhan when studying PAI subjects has gone well. This can be seen in: (1) there is a feeling of joy when following lessons, (2) students are active in asking questions, actively answering questions from the teacher, and actively participating in discussions, (3) there is interest and enthusiasm when participating in class learning, and ( 4) students' attention when listening to the teacher's explanation while teaching. Supporting and inhibiting factors as well as evaluation in the use of self-directed learning methods include factors such as teachers, students and madrasah infrastructure.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the application of public relations strategies in developing water tourism in “Sunggal Kanan” village, Sunggal District, Deli Serdang Regency. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. In carrying out the research, the results were obtained that there is potential that can be developed by the indah dam water tourism manager together with the public relations of “Sunggal Kanan” village. However, there are also obstacles that hinder the development and visitability of the community to the Indah dam water tourism. Efforts in developing water tourism in “Sunggal Kanan” village that can be done by public relations are by analyzing and making a strategy in managing the management of the Indah dam water tourism which is under the auspices of BUMDes or “Sunggal Kanan” Village Owned Business Entity.  This is the main capital in the development of tourism in the village of “Sunggal Kanan”. Therefore, in this research, a PUBLIC RELATIONS strategy will be designed to develop tourism in “Sunggal Kanan” village using a SWOT analysis.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) determine the morals of Jambi Medan Private Middle School students; (2) To find out how guidance is provided by teachers in handling student morals through PAI learning at Jambi Medan Private Middle School; (3) To determine the factors supporting the moral development of students at Jambi Medan Private Middle School; (4) To find out the obstacles that occur in moral development at Jambi Medan Private Middle School. This thesis was prepared based on field data using a qualitative approach. Data was collected using observation, interviews, documentation. Researchers use qualitative descriptive analysis techniques, namely in the form of descriptions of data instead of numbers that are collected thoroughly from actual field data results. The research results show that: (1) the morals of students at Jambi Private Middle Schools are good (a) students obey school regulations; (b) students performing sunnah prayers; (c) students behave politely towards teachers and friends. (2) How to carry out coaching: (a) provide advice and input to students; (b) carry out the obligations commanded by Allah, and the orders of parents; (c) giving light punishments to students who violate school rules, for example being late. (3) supporting factors for moral development: (a) providing tausyiah to students; (b) shaking hands to create a sense of solidarity between teachers and students; (c) calling parents to help monitor students' behavior at home. (4) knowing what obstacles occur in developing students' morals: (a) students obey the teacher's words, (b) in the school environment students guard themselves so as not to commit immoral acts, (c) every student is aware of the mistakes they have made.

Abstract

In this case the author looks at the interpretation of religious leaders towards Adhol wali according to Islamic law and the Marriage Law whose legal sources refer to the Fatwa of the Indonesian Ulama Council, towards the interpretation of religious figures towards this adol's wali. not inferring from generalizations. This study also uses a comparative approach. Research sources were also obtained from religious leaders and interviews with religious leaders and walis who were reluctant to marry off their daughters and included sources from the perpetrators of elopement as well as Ulama (MUI) of Aek Nabara Barumun District, and secondary data obtained from literature books, journals, articles, and other literature which serve as references or complementary sources for research. This study concludes that the interpretation of religious figures towards Adol walis according to Islamic law and the Marriage Law should be that the views of religious figures can be taken and guided for the benefit of the ummah and society and society must also comply with the marriage law to protect and maintain human dignity as creatures. the most perfect according to Law No. 1 of 1974 which is perfected by Law No. 16 of 2019 concerning marriage, then all citizens who enter into marriage must submit and comply with the marriage law in force in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research method is library research. The Aims of this research are: (1) To find out what the values of Islamic education contained in the book Changing Defeat into Victory are learned from the Battle of Uhud by Hepi Andi Bastoni, (2) To find out how the construction of Islamic educational values contained in the book Changing Defeat into Victory Learning from the Uhud War by Hepi Andi Bastoni, (3) To find out how The implications of the values of Islamic education contained in the book Changing Defeat into Victory Learning from the Battle of Uhud by Hepi Andi Bastoni with current educational practices.The results showed that The values of Islamic education contained in the book Turning Defeat into Victory Learning from the Uhud War are: : (a) Values of Faith education consist of (i) Faith in Allah SWT, (ii) Faith in Angels, (iii) Faith in the Prophet and Messenger, (iv) Belief in the Last Day, (v) Belief in Qada and Qadar. (b) Values of Moral Education consist of (i) Trust, (ii) Love, (iii) Sincerity, (iv) Tawakal, (v) Patience, (vi) Deliberation, (vii) Courage, (viii) Keep promises, (ix) Please help and (x) Tolerance. And (c) Worship Education Values consist of (a) Mahdah Worship, namely Prayer and (b) Ghairu Mahdah Worship, namely praying.
