Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini menganalisis pemaknaan semiotika roland barthes yang meliputi makna denotative,konotatif dan mitos yang dirangkum oleh Matthew johnson dalam film Blackberry 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Objek penelitian ialah beberapa scene film Blackberry 2023. Hasil penelitian di dapat kesimpulan berupa,makna denotasi yang terdapat dalam film tersebut menyimpulkan bahwa setiap kesepatan itu adalah sebuah jalan kesuksesan walaupun kesempatan tersebut kecil maupun besar dan berlaku juga pada sebuah masalah. Mitos dalam film Blackberry ini cukup jelas di tunjukkan dalam dialog maupun Bahasa nonverbal dalam film tersebut.

Abstract

The role of religious leaders in building adolescent morals is very influential, because without realizing it, religious leaders in a village, especially lau buluh village. Religious leaders on one of the ladders as intermediaries can approach teenagers as an extension of our tongue so that we are more respected among teenagers and more listened to. This research is a field research using a qualitative approach. As a field research, this research was conducted in lau buluh village, kuta buluh district, karo regency, north sumatra province, with the research time starting from august to september 2021. Primary data in this study were obtained directly through interviews with informants, namely lau buluh village officials, community and religious leaders, as well as religious affairs office apparatus in kuta buluh sub-district, karo district. As for secondary data in this study obtained through library studies. Data collection techniques in this study used direct or covert observation techniques semi-structured interview techniques, and documentation/literature techniques. The data analysis technique used in this research is the miles and huberman model data analysis, with aktivities in data analysis starting with data collection, data reduction. The result of this research is that the research aims to provide an understanding to the general public that the morals of teenagers are now a question for us, why the chastity of adolescent morals is now different. This is a challenge for perents in educating their children. Because we see many parents who are diligent in worship, but do not emphasize the importance of worship in children. Maybe it’s better for children to control their parents. The most important influence of the damage to adolescent morals is from parents, because parents are the person in charge and the main pillar for a child. In the process of educating children, parents must be patient and gentle and the most importhat thing is to prioritize educating morals first than knowledge. Because morality is more importhat than knowledge.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektifitas strategi komunikasi pemasaran yang diterapkan oleh PT. Cahaya Kembar Jaya dalam Meningkatkan Penumpang dengan pendekatan Intergrated Marketing Communication (IMC). Dalam menghadapi persaingan ketat insdrustri tranportasi, perusahaan ini mengadopsi IMC untuk memastikan konsistensi pesan diberbagai saluran komunikasi, termasuk iklan, promosi penjualan, hubungan masyarakat, dan media social. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisi dokumen perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perapan IMC oleh PT. Cahaya Kembar Jaya berhasil menciptakan pesan yang konsisten dan citra merek yang kuat, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan kesadaran dan presepsi positif penumpang terhadap layanan perusahaan. Penggunaan saluran komunikasi yang terintergrasi juga meningkatkan keterlibatan pelanggan dan memberikan pengalaman yang lebih baik, yang berkontribusi pada peningkatan loyalitas dan jumlah penumpang. Selain itu, strategi IMC memungkinkan perusahaan untuk merespon perubahan pasar dengan cepat dan efesien, mengomptimalkan anggaran pemasaran, dan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional.

Abstract

Kawan Muslim” is one of the Muslim fashion brands playing in the online market that has been able to grow rapidly with a rating of almost 5 stars on each of its products. The purpose of this study is to determine the online marketing communication strategy carried out by Kawan Muslim Muslim clothing in increasing brand awareness. The research type uses a descriptive type of qualitative approach with qualitative descriptive research methods. Data collection techniques carried out by interviews and observations. The technique of checking the validity of data using triangulation. Kawan Muslim is a Muslim fashion brand that chooses the online route in marketing its products. The results of the study explained that the marketing communication strategy carried out by Kawan Muslim is to focus on promotions carried out in various social media line-ups at this time. In conclusion, the marketing strategy has a promotional focus on sales and advertising. It is proposed to have a person in charge who specifically takes care of online.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the application of public relations strategies in developing water tourism in “Sunggal Kanan” village, Sunggal District, Deli Serdang Regency. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. In carrying out the research, the results were obtained that there is potential that can be developed by the indah dam water tourism manager together with the public relations of “Sunggal Kanan” village. However, there are also obstacles that hinder the development and visitability of the community to the Indah dam water tourism. Efforts in developing water tourism in “Sunggal Kanan” village that can be done by public relations are by analyzing and making a strategy in managing the management of the Indah dam water tourism which is under the auspices of BUMDes or “Sunggal Kanan” Village Owned Business Entity.  This is the main capital in the development of tourism in the village of “Sunggal Kanan”. Therefore, in this research, a PUBLIC RELATIONS strategy will be designed to develop tourism in “Sunggal Kanan” village using a SWOT analysis.

Abstract

Increasingly sophisticated technology never satisfies desires and even encougares human curiosly. One of the influences of technology that cannot be separated from life is social media.  Moreover, social media can help someone become famous.  So this becomes a special attraction for pandemic, the TiokTok application was paresent in the midst of the community to accompany when rsearcherswant to find out how  students perceive the application.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how effective whats'app (WA) users are in conveying information among students majoring in communication science at UIN North Sumatra force 2018. This research uses qualitative research methods using a descriptive approach in their presentation. There are two sources of data used in this study, namely primary and secondary data. The primary data in this study is the result of observing the surroundings, interviews, and documentation. While secondary data is used to compare the theoretical perspective with the results of interview data. The technique of data accumulation (collection) is combined from the results of observations, documentation and interviews from class equipment and 2018 force Communication Science students at UIN North Sumatra. The data validity test is combined with the data accumulation technique, then analyzed and seen and assessed for the level of validity. Thus, the results of the study showed that the process of using WA in conveying information and communication among IKOM UINSU students was said to be effective and efficient. Where in its use and implementation it is faster to reach the intended person and practical to use, besides that WA is also very Accessibility and Functional. The obstacle that often occurs among students is the internet network which is sometimes slow, for friends who send messages to friends who are far from the city, must have a strong internet signal in order to get information.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss parental communication patterns in attracting public elementary school children's learning interest during the pandemic in Kota Tengah Village, Serdang Bedagai Regency. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, the world of education has experienced quite significant changes. Learning that was originally carried out in person or offline changed to online or online. Of course this has an impact on children's interest in learning. In this case the role of parents at home is certainly very necessary in order to attract children's interest in learning. This article uses descriptive qualitative research. The data source in this study used the snowball sampling technique. The research results were obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that there are several communication patterns used by parents in attracting their children's interest in learning during this pandemic, namely permissive communication patterns, authoritarian communication patterns, democratic communication patterns (authoritative).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of interpersonal communication in enhancing the learning insights of students from the Faculty of Social Sciences during the pandemic. It also seeks to understand the responses of students from the Faculty of Social Sciences, State Islamic University of North Sumatra, regarding the limited teaching and learning activities during the pandemic. The research aims to identify the obstacles faced during online learning and assess the effectiveness of interpersonal communication in the learning process. Additionally, it aims to determine the effectiveness of online learning compared to face-to-face or in-person learning methods. This research adopts a qualitative research method. The informants in this study consist of four students from the Faculty of Social Sciences. Data collection techniques involve conducting in-depth interviews and library studies. The data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study aim to determine the effectiveness of interpersonal communication in enhancing learning in the Faculty of Social Sciences during the pandemic. It also aims to identify the efforts made to enhance the learning ethos during the pandemic.

Abstract

The popularity of the use of slang by generation z is very common, both in person and on social media. They are currently experiencing changes in the pronunciation and writing of Indonesian in accordance with the Big Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI) due to the emergence of a new style of language. So when using slang, it makes them feel more confident and considered contemporary. This study aims to find out the kinds of slang words, and to find out what factors influence the use of slang by Generation Z at State Senior High School 1 Bandar Perdagangan. This study used a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection techniques through interviews with 10 students in class 12 social sciences at State Senior High School 1 Bandar Perdagangan. As for the results of this study, it was concluded that the slang used by the z generation at State Senior High School 1 Bandar Perdagangan was only limited to a few forms of words according to needs, such as abbreviations, acronyms, word reversals, and the formation of new words. Meanwhile, the factors that influence the use of slang by generation z are advances in communication technology and the circumstances of the surrounding environment that encourage the development of slang.
