Abstract

Rail roof side is an automotive product with high quality specifications. In the manufacturing process, there are unstable process issues that cause variations in size. On the other hand, the process abnormality detection system occurs at the end of the production process, so potential defects cannot be detected during the process. This study aims to ensure stable process quality so that defective products can be detected during the manufacturing process. The quality assurance process uses an approach based on process stability score, known as Cpk. The capability of process detection devices derived from the quality control technology used, and the ability to address irregular conditions identified through human capability to take action when process abnormalities occur. Based on the calculation of process quality assurance capability, a rank value of 1.70 indicates that the quality assurance system has been achieved. This means that the process assurance status is capable of preventing and detecting process variation issues and defects from the start of the process. Keywords – Assurance, Capability, Defect, Detection, Variation.

Abstract

Supply chains must be able to adjust quickly in a dynamic and uncertain global business environment. The VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity) era demands that organisations and their alliances be proactive in anticipating and responding to change, rather than merely reacting to it. Supply chain agility is a crucial component that enables businesses to adapt, innovate, and maintain their competitive edge in rapidly changing market conditions. Building supply chain agility is therefore essential for maintaining business continuity and ensuring customer satisfaction. Previous literature from 2019 to 2025 was analyzed using a content analysis approach that aims to discuss the role of strategic leadership in building Supply Chain Agility (SCA). In this context, the role of innovation and digital transformation is shifting the paradigm from proactive to transformative. Dynamic capabilities serve as amplifiers, magnifying the positive effects of strategic leadership on supply chain agility. Resource orchestration bridges the gap between leadership decisions and the supply chain's achieved level of agility. This study affirms organisations need to consider building agility in conjunction with technological investment and process restructuring. However, organisations must prioritise the quality of strategic leadership that is capable of navigating uncertainty. Strategic leaders drive innovation, resilience, and cross-boundary collaboration within supply chains. Keywords - Digital Transformation, Resource Orchestration, Strategic Leadership, Supply Chain Agility, VUCA.

Abstract

The rapid growth of tourism in North Sumatra has increased the demand for accommodations, particularly villas. The abundance of villa choices often causes difficulties for tourists in selecting the most suitable option according to their preferences. This issue highlights the need for a Decision Support System (DSS) that can assist both customers and providers in making structured and objective decisions. This study aims to design a DSS for villa selection by applying the Weight Product (WP) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) methods. The research steps include determining criteria, assigning weights, calculating preference values, and testing the results using both methods. WP recommended Villa Bukit Indah as the best option with a score of 0.2154, while TOPSIS identified Villa Block F–G as the best alternative with a score of 0.5811. Through the aggregation process, the final result showed that Villa Block F–G ranked first among five alternatives with the highest average score of 0.39145. The findings indicate that WP and TOPSIS can be applied complementarily to produce more accurate accommodation recommendations. Therefore, the proposed DSS supports companies in marketing strategies while helping customers choose villas that match their needs and preferences. Keywords - Customer Preference, Decision Support System, TOPSIS, Villa, Weight Product.

Abstract

Hospitals play a vital role in providing promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative healthcare services. The highest electricity consumption in hospitals comes from lighting and air conditioning systems, thus requiring the implementation of an energy efficiency culture and appropriate technology selection to achieve environmentally friendly (green hospital) operations. This study aims to analyze the potential of applying energy efficiency culture and technology selection as well as to recommend strategies for reducing operational costs and developing energy-saving SOPs as part of green hospital practices. The fuzzy logic approach was applied to measure the level of energy efficiency at Pertamina Panorama Hospital Balikpapan, considering technological, electrical, mechanical and operational cost indicators. Data were collected from questionnaires distributed to 70 hospital staff to evaluate how energy-saving culture and technology choices support green hospital implementation. The results show that the adoption of technologies such as BMS, Smart Energy, Smart Material, Smart Water, Smart Waste, IEQ and Resilience & Safety reduced maintenance costs by 10–20%, despite an initial investment increase of 5–15%. The centroid fuzzy logic analysis yielded a crisp value of 84.7%, indicating efficient electricity consumption. The synergy between efficiency culture, modern technology, and cost strategies makes hospitals more energy-efficient, environmentally friendly and sustainable. Keywords - Efisiensi Energi, Fuzzy Logic, Green Building, Green Hospital.

Abstract

The utilization of rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems in urban areas has gained significant momentum as part of the energy transition strategy. Determining the optimum tilt angle of PV panels is crucial in maximizing system output. This study aims to analyze the optimum tilt angle for rooftop PV with multiple linear regression in five administrative cities of Jakarta using solar resource data from the Global Solar Atlas. Annual energy yield data were evaluated at an azimuth of 0° (facing north) with tilt angle variations from 0° to 20° in 1° intervals. The analysis employed a quadratic regression model estimated using Ordinary Least Squares (OLS), with uncertainty assessment conducted through 1000 bootstrap iterations. Results indicate that the optimum tilt angle ranges between 5° and 9°, with intercity variations: West Jakarta (5°), North Jakarta (9°), Central Jakarta (7.5°), East Jakarta (8.2°), and South Jakarta (7°). Energy gains compared to the horizontal orientation (0°) are relatively small, less than 1.1%. These findings suggest that for practical rooftop installations in Jakarta, a tilt angle of 7–9° can be recommended, as performance differences with continuous optimum estimation are negligible. Keywords - Global Solar Atlas, Jakarta, Optimum Tilt Angle, Quadratic Regression, Rooftop Solar PV
