Abstract

The development of Islamic education in the archipelago has faced a variety of social changes ranging from the kingdom-empire era, the colonial period, the period of independence, the old order, the new order, until the fifth year of the new millennium. Changes have occurred, which initially took the form of traditional education in the form of recitation in homes, prayer rooms, mosques and also in its development also equipped or transformed itself into schools as the physical appearance of the building with modern facilities and management. In terms of the material being taught there has also been a development from what was originally, only teaching Islamic teachings and studying the Qur'an, then turning into practical worship, continuing to study the book, then leading to religious teaching in the form of selected curriculum such as monotheism / faith, morals, jurisprudence, hadith, interpretation, the history of Islam and Arabic. Colonialism has introduced a modern education model both in terms of management, teaching technology and the material taught there are pure and some have adopted or adapted Islamic education in the Middle East and the Western world.

Abstract

A comfortable environment and support the implementation of an education is needed and also contribute to the achievement of desired educational goals. Similarly in the Islamic education system, the environment must be created in accordance with the characteristics of Islamic education itself. In educational literature, the environment is usually equated with institutions or educational institutions. Although this study is not explicitly described in the Qur'an, there are some cues indicating the existence of the educational environment. Therefore, in the study of Islamic education, the educational environment received attention. Humans are social and will shape their own environment because humans are one of the subjects discussed, especially those relating to the origin of the concept of creation, human position and purpose in life. This is something that is natural because the Qur'an is believed by Muslims as the word of Allah intended to and for humans.

Abstract

Teaching material is one of the three Elements of Teaching and Learning activities besides, teachers and students. Without teaching material, it is not possible for teaching and learning activities to proceed properly. Teaching material will be good if given according to the ability of students who use the material. And good material is material that adjusts the development, both intellectual development, student psychology, and the development of the era in which students are located. This Scientific Journal will explain how a teacher can make Arabic teaching materials for his students. There is no need to buy textbooks or worksheets that are not necessarily used when they are suitable with the abilities of their students.

Abstract

The discussion of epistemology up to date is still very interesting to be examined, because in a epistemology is a way of gaining a knowledge,scientific study will never go off the way and method to get to A knowledge it self, as well as Islamic education also requires the study of epistemology in education. In this paper try to open the epistemology of Abed Al-Jabiri with the reason bayani, reason Burhani and Onebill reason which was then used as a foundation in Islamic education epistemology.

Abstract

Abstract

Strategic management is a series of decisions and fundamental actions made by top management and implemented by all levels of an organization in order to achieve organizational goals. Quality of performance is the quality of the work achieved in completing responsibilities in accordance with the objectives to be achieved. Characteristics of quality human resources in the era of industrialization and globalization is to have the ability: initiative, cooperation, training, assessment, communication, reasoning, problem solving, decision making, use of information, planning, learning skills, and multicultural skills. The strategy of the government through the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in improving the quality of educators and madrasah education personnel in the form of: a) Increased competence of PTK, MI, MTs, MA and MAK, b) Improvement of qualifications S1 madrasah teachers, c) Provision of functional allowances, professional allowances and special allowances Non-civil service PTK, d) participation of Madrasah teachers in Teacher Professional Education, e) Madrasah teacher certification, and others. The development and improvement of institutional quality must be supported by adequate facilities and infrastructures such as internet network, web-site access, e-learning for students and teachers / lecturers of study center, sport center, and others. There are three strategies for achieving superior organizational performance: a) Comparative Strategy, b) Competitive Strategy, c) Alliances Strategy. Abstract

Crossing the transformative moment against the setting of a global era, Islam today is marked by a hard struggle between two paradigms of thought. Moderate & puritanical. When there is a vacuum of religious authority in the modern Islamic world, both of them fight over claims to define the meaning of Islamic truth. Khaleed Abou El-Fadl provides a fairly comprehensive map of the two ideas of thought which will play a large role in determining the future of Islam. Starting with a large background that became the battlefield for both in interpreting various aspects of Islamic teachings. Fatwas that refer to religious texts by not paying attention to their historical social context will lose their relevance and urgency in particular if they are taken carelessly and without merit. The offer tried by Khaleed Abou El Fadhl would be important to study and understand and be criticized and finally decided to reject or accept it.

Abstract

Religious development in correctional institutions is important, because the religious value here is to function to organize the life of an inmate to become a person of good behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the strategy of Islamic religious guidance in Class IIB Penitentiary in Mojokerto and the vision, mission, goals, objectives, policies, programs and activities of Islamic religious guidance in Class IIB Penitentiary in Mojokerto. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers it can be seen that the Mojokerto IIB Class Correctional Institution in carrying out one of its duties is providing coaching to implement strategies in collaboration with LDNU Mojokerto Regency and several other religious institutions such as the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Islamic Boarding School Az-Zahroh as coaches who are experts in the field of Islam. The policies implemented in relation to Islamic religious guidance in Class IIB of Mojokerto include the provision of remissions or deductions from prison terms for those who are well-versed in religious activities. The program and activities of Islamic religious guidance carried out in Class IIB Mojokerto Prison include: 1) Habit of five-time prayer discipline, 2) Study of routine books, 3) Reading Al-Qur'an, 4) Istighosah.

Abstract

The foundation of Islamic education management that is fundamental to the basis or principle that Islamic education management can be upright not easily collapsed due to the wind blowing ideology that appears now or in the future. The foundation of Islamic education management is of course based on the philosophy of life of Muslims and not based on the philosophy of life of a country or other ideology. Because the Islamic education management system can be implemented anywhere and anytime without being limited by space and time. The management of Islamic education is the art and science of managing, organizing Islamic education resources (human and other resources) in an Islamic way to achieve the goal of Islamic education effectively and efficiently. The foundation of Islamic education management includes: 1) Al-Qur'an, 2) as-Sunnah, 3) Al-Kaun, and 4) Ijtihad.
