Abstract

Transmigration is the movement of people from a densely populated area to an area that is less or not yet populated. Transmigration in Indonesia has existed since the colonial era and the New Order until now. Transmigration first came to Ringin Jaya Village in 1994. This writing aims to determine the development of the lives of the transmigration community in Ringin Jaya Village. The importance of this research is because the transmigration of people from Java to Ringin Jaya Village has had a very rapid influence on regional expansion, regional development, social and economic development of the people in Ringin Jaya Village. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a historical approach. Historical research consists of four stages, namely heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Based on the results of initial research, the arrival of the transmigration community in Ringin Jaya Village mostly came from Java. The reason Javanese people participate in transmigration is to look for larger land because the land available in Java is very narrow, while those living in Java have an increasingly dense population and the economy is also difficult, so people participate in transmigration with the aim of changing their lives and making the economy better in the future. which will come.

Abstract

Flores Island, especially Ende Regency, has abundant potential and wealth of archaeological heritage which is still preserved today. The potential of these cultural resources should be maintained and preserved in various forms, one of which is through research and scientific publications so that they are better known by today's modern society. This research, which is included in qualitative descriptive research, uses research strategies in the Wolotopo Traditional Village and Kozibari Traditional Village in Ende Regency, making the process of data collection and data analysis easier. The open interview technique allows informants to have more freedom in providing answers so that general macro conclusions can be drawn. Literature studies and presentation of research documentation can strengthen descriptions and narratives of informal presentations. The research results show that various megalithic remains in the traditional village residential area in Ende are still well preserved and are still used in various traditional rituals.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain the efforts made to increase the ability of the village apparatus and village consultative bodies to perform their respective roles in South Tapanuli Simarlelan Village. The incapacity of the village machinery and village consultative bodies to perform their roles and responsibilities is the basis of this study. In addition to purposive sampling for informant selection and SWOT analysis for data analysis, this study employs descriptive qualitative approaches. The study was carried out in the South Tapanuli Regency's Simarlelan Village Head Office y in the Muara Batang Toru District. The findings indicated that because capacity building initiatives are only implemented by local governments with erratic timelines and do not involve the apparatus and BPD as a whole, it is possible to argue that they have not been fully and appropriately implemented in order to enhance the ability of village apparatus and BPD Simarlelan in carrying out their duties and functions.
