Abstract

Pregnancy is a process that a woman looks forward to, but during pregnancy, there are various complaints that are felt due to physical and psychological changes and cause discomfort. Changes that occur due to changes in hormones and the psychology of pregnant women Increasing gestational age results in increasingly diverse complaints in pregnant women, especially in the third trimester. The complaints that are often experienced are back pain caused by excessive bending, walking without rest, and lifting weights. Midwives have an important role in improving the health of pregnant and postpartum women to overcome discomfort during pregnancy, childbirth, and the early postpartum period. This community service is carried out so that midwives can reduce discomfort for pregnant women, so they need to receive training in pregnancy and early postpartum exercises to improve their skills. There were 18 participants in the course, all of whom are currently employed as midwives for the Siloam Hospital Group. The course was considered successful after receiving an improving score from all participants.

Abstract

Tapak Gedung Village, Kepahiang Regency (Bengkulu) has a problem with waste. So far, the organic waste produced by the community is simply thrown away into the surrounding environment. One alternative solution that can be done to reduce environmental pollution caused by organic waste is to manage the organic waste into a multipurpose eco-enzyme. This community service activity is carried out with the aim of increasing the understanding and skills of the Tapak Gedung Village community in making multipurpose eco-enzymes. The activity method is carried out in several stages, namely training, mentoring, monitoring and evaluation. This activity was carried out in August 2022 with 30 participants. The results of the activity evaluation showed that this activity had increased the participants' understanding and skills in making eco-enzymes with an N-gain of 0.85 or high criteria, which means that this activity was effective. The results of the training participant satisfaction survey showed that the activity participants were satisfied with the activities carried out and felt that the activities provided were appropriate according to the needs of the community.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease that causes the second death after the Human Immunodificiency Virus. Compliance with TB treatment is very important to achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in the context of eliminating TB. Health problems in OKU Regency note that TB is the 10th type of infectious disease with the highest incidence rate. The partner's problem from the results of the preliminary study is that the provision of TB treatment services, strengthening the motivation of Drug Swallowing Supervisors (PMO), and providing information/education is not yet optimal. The solution implemented by the service team is the implementation of the "CAHAYA TBC Program", which is a village development and innovation program consisting of 4 activity sessions, and involving patients, PMO, health cadres, and those responsible for the Puskesmas TB program. Patient compliance in undergoing the treatment program will be monitored in the "TB Patient Self-Management Guidance Module" module which will be carried out for 3 months and involve 30 people. The results of implementing the program were an increase in knowledge by 47%, an increase in skills by 22.5% from the pre and post test results of participants, and an increase in TB treatment visits to the Tanjung Agung Community Health Center UPTD by 92% at the end of the activity.

Abstract

Diabetic foot ulcers (DFU) are one of the most common complications in DM patients, 15-20% of patients who experience DFU must be amputated (Fawzy et al, 2019). Preventive measures and rehabilitation measures are the basic principles of treating diabetic foot. Rehabilitation measures include integrated programs, namely evaluation of ulcers, control of metabolic conditions, wound debridement, bacterial cultures, appropriate antibiotics, rehabilitation surgery and medical rehabilitation. Preventive measures include education on foot care, diabetes shoes and foot exercises (Yudhi, 2009). This community service activity was carried out in a Tenda 2 to be precise at the Tenda 2 elderly Posyandu, Langke Rembong District, Manggarai Regency. This community service activity was carried out in several stages, the first stage was identification of the number of DM sufferers at the Elderly Posyandu Tenda 2, then during the activities of the Elderly Posyandu there would be education about the importance of foot exercises to prevent diabetic ulcers, after that a video was played while teaching the elderly how to do leg exercises.

Abstract

Today’s people live in a time when everything is required to process quickly and easily, with the help of sophisticated technology and Internet access. The concept of the e-government is a governmental tool of information technology to provide information and services that are effective, efficient, and transparent to the public in the process of emitting good government. KPU Provinsi Bali since the 2019 simultaneous elections, has been using an application that is intended to help facilitate the stages of running for elections known as SILON a candidacy information system. As a result, all data relating to applications for requirements by the political party for electoral participants as well as the individual council of regional representatives throughout Indonesia can be properly managed and well documented, and a complex and laborious succession of stages can be completed more effectively and efficiently, as well as paperless.

Abstract

Currently, the tourism sector is a push factor in increasing regional income in Maluku, especially Ambon city besides fisheries. The natural and cultural potential possessed by Ambon City as a Maritime City and Local Culture, provides a special charm for the city government in developing existing potential as part of a tourism development destination. The community's role in realizing the development of a tourist village in Amahusu is not yet optimal, so this PKM is carried out to provide socialization to the community in increasing understanding and more optimal preparation in supporting the development of the Amahusu tourist village. The method applied to the community is socialization, pre-test, and post-test. The results obtained show an enthusiastic attitude from the participants in participating in socialization activities. This attitude shows a good response from the community to obtain additional knowledge, and capture interest. Collaboration with academics in supporting the development of more optimal tourist villages to attract tourist visits

Abstract

Indonesia is a country rich in forest products. One of which is Gaharu, a treeless forest product with high economic value for the perfume, incense, and pharmaceutical industries. Gaharu in Indonesia comes from gaharu trees that are infected with bacteria so that the result is gaharu. Many aloes grow in Indonesia, one of which is in the settlement around the PT Arutmin Indonesia mine. In this case, the community needs science and technology to optimally utilize the abundant gaharu in their area. The purpose of this service is to provide science and technology as well as additional skills in utilizing gaharu effectively and quickly. The community was very enthusiastic in this service activity by actively participating in activities both from socialization to the practice of making gaharu sapwood inoculation. The manufacture of gaharu sapwood by inoculation is carried out using a drilling machine by wounding the trunk of the gaharu tree and then the wound is given bacteria that can make gaharu produce resin that is useful and of high selling value.

Abstract

Technology is one of the most rapidly growing media today. It is important how to utilize technology media as an educational medium. The media most favored by children today are television, laptops, and cell phones/smartphones. However, it cannot be denied that many shows are not entirely good for children to watch. One of the animated films that can provide Islamic moral and educational messages is the Nussa and Rara series. This community service is carried out to make the animated shows Nussa and Rara an educational show in developing children's characters and motivating children to be smart in choosing shows from the internet. This activity takes children's objects at Ummi Fauziah Rantauprapat Kindergarten. The service period is used for 1 day with several series of activities, namely assessing children's behavior through observation and interviews, counseling about character education for children, and watching the Nussa and Rara serials together. The result of this PKM activity is to increase the knowledge and understanding of these school-age children about noble character values ​​and to be motivated to be smarter in choosing good and more educative shows.

Abstract

Floods are a disaster that we often hear about in Indonesia and one of them is in Bukit Bestari District because that area often experiences flooding. The flood occurred due to rainfall. In addition, the residential area is close to the river. Therefore, the government needs to provide mitigation for these residential areas. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach that tries to describe a situation based on known facts. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation, and the data sources were primary data and secondary data. From the results of this study, it will answer the formulation of the research problem that the efforts of the Tanjungpinang city government in implementing policies in flood mitigation are seen from rainfall, watersheds, slum areas, and waste generation in residential areas in the Tanjung Unggat area, so that attention is needed serious from the government. Therefore the suggestion from researchers is the need for an increase in water catchment areas or the relocation of slum areas in Tanjung Unggat.

Abstract

Law enforcement of criminal acts of corruption is carried out by the Prosecutor's Office. The issues raised in this paper are the role of the Bali High Court's intelligence in investigating alleged corruption cases and what obstacles the Bali High Court intelligence experienced in investigating alleged corruption cases. The research method that the author uses is empirical juridical. Juridically, answering the problem formulation is carried out by reviewing the applicable laws and regulations, while empirically, it is carried out by direct interviews with Mr. Joko Suryanto, S.H., M.H. as KASI Economy and Finance Intelligence field at KEJATI Bali. Data collection was carried out by collecting and studying case files and joint discussions. Based on the analysis of the data, the following research results were obtained: (1) The intelligence of the Attorney General's Office in handling corruption cases at the Bali High Court in general has a role, namely the first, in terms of investigating corruption cases by the intelligence of the Bali High Prosecutor's Office in order to obtain information and information material to proceed to the investigation process by the special criminal section. (2) The obstacles experienced by the Intelligence of the Prosecutor's Office in handling cases of criminal acts of corruption, namely, first in the case of calling the second witness, collecting evidence, and the fear of the party being questioned about the intervention of the relevant agency.
