Abstract

Masalah parkir di Universitas Prof. Dr. Hazairin, SH (UNIHAZ) menunjukkan ketidakefisienan dan ketidakamanan sistem manual saat ini. Penelitian ini mengusulkan Smart Parking berbasis RFID yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi IoT untuk meningkatkan keamanan dan efisiensi. Menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32 dengan konektivitas Wi-Fi dan Bluetooth, sistem ini memungkinkan komunikasi data secara real-time dan kontrol gerbang parkir. Mahasiswa dapat mengakses parkir dengan menempelkan kartu identitas mahasiswa (KTM) berteknologi RFID, yang akan membuka gerbang jika kartu terdaftar. Keamanan ditingkatkan dengan kamera yang menangkap gambar kendaraan. Sistem RFID menawarkan kecepatan baca tinggi dan tag yang tahan lama, bertujuan untuk mengurangi risiko pencurian dan meningkatkan kenyamanan pengguna. Penelitian ini berfokus pada perancangan solusi parkir yang lebih aman dan efisien untuk lingkungan kampus UNIHAZ

Abstract

A decision support system is a system used by top level managers in making decisions. The decision support system has several methods that can be used, including the AHP and TOPSIS methods. The AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method is a decision making method that focuses more on calculating criteria weights. Meanwhile, the TOPSIS method (Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) is a decision-making method that is suitable for calculating final results and rankings. Determining employee loan eligibility using the AHP and TOPSIS methods produces objective values ​​because the criteria weights and final results are calculated according to the method used.

Abstract

Internet Service Provider (ISP) is a company that provides internet access to end users and is also a promising business opportunity in the digital era. However, the problem of uneven distribution of fiber optic-based internet network infrastructure in society is one of the core problems in this research so that people are limited and cannot enjoy fiber optic-based internet connections in certain areas to support productivity in the digitalized world. To deal with this problem, the solution is Infrastructure Development. Investment in developing fiber optic infrastructure in unreached areas by building Fiber Optic-based internet technology infrastructure. Meanwhile, qualitative method research is based on existing problems. The results of this research aim to evaluate how FTTH (Fiber to the home) technology can be used to improve internet access in various regions, including underserved areas. With the presence of an internet network business based on FTTH (Fiber to the home) technology in society, it is hoped that equal distribution of telecommunications infrastructure can be achieved so that people can enjoy fast, cheap and stable internet services.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic proves that healthcare capacity and equipment are not sufficient to handle a pandemic, especially the availability of ventilators. Composed of more than 17.500 islands, 6.000 of which are inhabited, Indonesia’s demographic varies widely from one area to another. Health infrastructure in many areas is minimal, with many having no hospitals but clinics with limited resources/funds and minimally-trained healthcare professionals. The need for domestically produced ventilators is clear. But not only that, there is a need to produce simpler/more economical ventilators that are affordable and simpler to operate. This paper will discuss the basic ventilator (resuscitator), built upon MIT Open Design (used by clinics/smaller hospitals) and was in the last development phase before product testing at Balai Pengamanan Fasilitas Kesehatan (BPFK) Jakarta.

Abstract

The ITK Integrated Service Unit (ULT) provides integrated services and information for the community related to Kalimantan Institute of Technology. The results of interviews with ITK ULTs show that the administrative service system at ITK is not fully online, especially document printing which is still done offline by ITK ULTs. This causes problems, especially the lack of responsibility of service applicants for the documents submitted. This research develops a website-based Administrative Service Information System at ULT ITK using the waterfall method, including requirements definition, system and software design, implementation, and system integration and testing. This system facilitates access to administrative services from various locations and times, and allows printing of documents after the service is completed. This research produces three main outputs: documentation of system requirements in the Software Requirements Specification (SRS), a system developed using the Laravel framework, and system test results using the black box testing method which shows the system runs well.

Abstract

Information systems and information technology are essential to support a business or organization's operational and management activities. PT Vale Indonesia, one of Indonesia's largest nickel mining companies, is experiencing problems in the SCM (Supply Chain Management) Department, especially in the Shipping & Traffic Section, in tracking and monitoring the current location/position of goods. The method currently used is considered less efficient. This research aims to design an information system for tracking and monitoring the position of goods at PT Vale Indonesia. The design was carried out using the waterfall method, a system development method carried out sequentially from one phase to the next. The result of this research is the design of an information system for tracking and monitoring the position of goods, which is ready to be implemented. The test results show that all the buttons on the system function properly according to the design that has been made, making it easier to track & monitor the position of goods there.

Abstract

In the digital age of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, organizations like BPRACo must undergo Digital Transformation (DT). A significant challenge is the lack of adequate information security controls, which can lead to DT failure. Smaller banks, such as BPR, face difficulties in adopting effective information security management strategies that are proven for larger institutions. This study aims to identify the application of ISO 27001:2022 standards and develop an information security management system focusing on the most critical annex clauses for SME digital transformation. It also seeks to evaluate and analyze the impact of an information security management system aligned with these key clauses on SME DT success. The research employs a five-stage Design Science Research (DSR). Data were collected through interviews and document analysis, then analyzed using the ISO 27001:2022 framework for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). The study identified six priority Clause and Annex controls for BPRACo. Based on the gaps, six essential solutions were designed, compiled into an implementation roadmap to enhance BPRACo readiness for full ISMS implementation and certification, supporting DT success in small banks. This research provides valuable insights and practical implications for information security management in small banks.

Abstract

Short-term Bitcoin price prediction is a crucial aspect of transaction decision-making, especially for investors. In this study, a Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (Bi-LSTM) model was developed for short-term Bitcoin price prediction. The Bidirectional LSTM is designed to capture temporal context in both directions, allowing the model to process information from past and future time steps simultaneously. The model was validated using real-world data, including Bitcoin stock price datasets. The results show that the model achieved high accuracy, with a Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) of 56.90 on the training data and 157.35 on the test data, along with a Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 366.40 and 486.63, respectively. The Bidirectional Least Square Memory model accurately predicted Bitcoin prices over a specific time period. This application integrates the model into a web application, enabling users to obtain real-time Bitcoin price predictions through a user-friendly interface.

Abstract

Water is a natural resource that is very important for the life of living creatures on earth, but water is very easily contaminated with bacteria and dangerous substances. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to the quality of water on earth. To classify water quality as safe or unsafe, there are many methods that can be used. To choose the most suitable method, four methods were used, namely K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Naïve Bayes, and Logistic Regression. In this research, the dataset used is Water Quality from the Kaggle website which contains 7999 samples with 20 features and 1 target class. The aim of this research is to compare methods to obtain the highest accuracy values, accuracy results obtained from implementing algorithms in machine learning. The results obtained from the KNN, Naïve Bayes, and Logistic Regression methods were 89.62%, 78.69%, and 89.81% respectively. The highest accuracy result is Logistic Regression, so this method is the best method for classifying water quality data.

Abstract

Rain is a natural phenomenon that has a significant impact on human life and ecosystems around the world. The ability to predict the weather, including predicting the next day's rain, has become an important aspect of our daily lives. Accurate rain predictions have broad implications, from planning outdoor activities to natural resource management, as well as controlling natural disasters. This research presents the results of an analysis of whether it will rain or not tomorrow based on 22 features, including location, temperature, wind speed, wind direction, humidity, and also the number of clouds covering the sky. In an effort to improve the accuracy of rain predictions, various methods have been developed, including Artificial Neural Network (ANN), K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), and Naive Bayes. After training and testing the models from these three methods, an evaluation was carried out using a confusion matrix and classification report to measure prediction performance. The experimental results show that ANN, KNN and Naive Bayes obtain accuracy scores of 85%, 84%, and 79%, respectively. So, it can be concluded that ANN is the best method for predicting tomorrow's rain.
