Abstract

Financial management at Ignatius Slamet Riyadi Surakarta Graphic Vocational School currently still relies on manual methods for recording and reporting Education Development Contributions (SPP), which creates various administrative problems. This manual approach is not time-efficient and is prone to mistakes, data loss, and inaccurate reports. The purpose of this project is to create a financial information system for the school that is web-based. The system designed aims to increase the efficiency and accuracy of managing tuition payments, by providing real-time monitoring features for students and their parents/guardians, as well as assisting school principals in monitoring financial reports. This system development uses a prototype method which involves the stages of design, evaluation, coding, testing and system evaluation. The system can automatically record transactions, lower administrative errors, and expedite the report creation process, according to the testing results. With an easy-to-use interface, this system facilitates access for users according to their roles, namely admin, principal and students. In conclusion, implementing this system can improve financial management in schools, but it requires integration with other school administration systems and increased system security for future development.

Abstract

West Sumatra is one of the cities in Indonesia that has many tourist attractions. Tourist attractions are one of the entertainment for people in Indonesia, especially West Sumatra. Provinces that are rich in natural, cultural and artificial tourism are able to give a comfortable impression to tourists visiting this area. In addition to its tourist attractions, the natives of West Sumatra are also kind and friendly to tourists on vacation. In choosing a tourist spot, there are some tourists who look for tours according to their wishes. However, sometimes they get incomplete information about the tour they want. With the rapid development of technology, a system is needed that can help provide information and recommend tourist attractions to tourists. With this system, it is expected to help provide the information desired by users later. This recommendation system uses the Collaborative Filtering method with an item-based approach. The recommendation process in this system is done by calculating Similarity between specifications that make up an item of tourist attractions that users want with the specifications of tourist attractions contained in the system. This system produces recommendations for tourist attractions with information about tourism in West Sumatra, and can provide solutions for tourists in choosing a place of tourism that suits their desires.

Abstract

XYZ University is very likely to face security risks in the implementation of the Academic Information System (SIAKAD), which includes various threats such as cyber attacks, data leaks, and unauthorized use of data. Therefore, this study aims to identify information security risks with an approach that follows the ISO 27005:2018 standard. The research method used involves several important stages in ISO 27005:2018, starting from determining a clear scope and context as a basis for identifying, analyzing, and evaluating and determining appropriate actions against information security risks. The results of this study indicate that there are 4 data-related risks, 3 software-related risks, 6 hardware-related risks, and 5 risks in the people category, which have been identified. From the results of the analysis, there is 1 risk with an extreme level and 10 high-level risks. After evaluating the implementation of existing controls, there are 6 risks that exceed the risk acceptance level so that special actions are needed to manage these risks. Ultimately, this study contributes theoretically to the application of ISO 27005:2018 to analyze information security risks within the University. In addition, this study provides practical benefits for University management to be able to determine the right strategies and actions in managing information security risks.

Abstract

With the rise of smartphones and internet connectivity, travellers have been increasingly seeking quicker and smoother purchasing processes. To address this behaviour, a passenger shipping company, launched their mobile ticketing app in 2018. However, despite closing offline ticketing booths in late 2023, the app adoption remains low. This research investigates factors influencing user adoption and usage of the app, employing a modified UTAUT model. A mixed-method approach utilizes questionnaires, data analysis using SPSS and PLS-SEM, and cluster analysis to identify user segments and pain points. The research analysis finds that only performance expectancy, social influence, voluntariness of use, system quality, and system quality with a moderating variable frequency of app use impact the user’s intention to continue using the app. These results are further clustered into four categories based on the DOI theory. These findings can be used by the company and other maritime transportation companies seeking to leverage mobile technology for improved customer experience and ticketing efficiency.

Abstract

The design of the UI of the Information System for managing goods data is a system interface design that is used to manage input, output, and recapitulation of goods for inventory, so as to minimize human error and minimize loss of goods data. The problem occurs in the current business process, namely for managing data on incoming goods and outgoing goods only recorded in book archives. So that it often experiences problems in calculating goods and takes time to get information about goods data that is not in accordance with availability. The purpose of this research is to design a goods data management system UI, which can manage data and stock items using the Design Thinking method which will be applied at CV. XYZ. The result of this research is a UI design that operates to support the business processes of the warehouse section, so that managing requests for purchasing goods to suppliers can be more accurate, searching for goods data can optimize time, and help the process of supplying and selling goods to consumers.Keywords: Design Thinking, Goods Data, User Interface

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop the Muggle Cloud service website integrated with WHMCS (Web Host Manager Complete Solution) and Tidio LiveChat. The background of this research is the need for a hosting platform that can manage hosting services, payments, and customer support effectively and efficiently. Many hosting companies currently face difficulties in integrating account management systems, payment processes, and customer support, resulting in suboptimal services for users. The purpose of this research is to develop an integrated system that can solve these problems by providing a website that facilitates hosting service management and supports real-time interaction between customers and technical support. The method used in this research is the Waterfall software development model, which includes the stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data were collected through literature studies, interviews with related parties, and analysis of existing systems. The results of the research show that the integration between WHMCS and Tidio LiveChat on the Muggle Cloud platform successfully provides an effective solution for managing hosting services and customer support. The implementation of this system not only simplifies administrative and payment processes but also increases responsiveness to customer needs and inquiries through live chat features. The conclusion of this research is that the integrated system can improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction in hosting service companies and make an important contribution to the development of integrated hosting service management technology.

Abstract

The Prestige application is an online attendance for Gresik Regency ASN. What is the assessment of the feasibility of the functionality of the Prestige Application, and what factors influence employees dissatisfaction with the Prestige Application. In previous research on attendance applications, only regarding the impact of the application on employee performance. This research tests the application functionality, so that it meets what is required. Researchers as instruments and data collectors provide assessments of the Prestige application, finding problems that result in a decrease in the quality of the Prestige application. The ServQual method or what is called the service quality concept is a method used to test the nature of service quality, and involves 90 questionnaire respondents. In this research, it was found that there is no forget password feature, and importantly there is a feature to display the total number of attendance points. The Reliability dimension gets the largest value, and the Empathy dimension gets the smallest value. As input, BKPSDM needs to add a forget password feature and information regarding total employee attendance points.

Abstract

Organic waste management in Indonesia is currently suboptimal. Approximately 33.7% of waste is not properly managed, and 56% of the total waste consists of organic waste, most of which comes from households. Composting is an effective method for managing organic waste. However, many people are still reluctant to convert organic waste into compost due to the lengthy process, which typically takes 2 to 3 months. This study proposes an IoT-based composting automation system with the goal of accelerating the composting process without the use of additional microorganisms, producing both dry and liquid compost. The system method involves integrating Internet of Things (IoT) technology with sensors: DHT22 for temperature monitoring, soil moisture sensors for measuring soil moisture, MQ-4 sensors for detecting methane gas, pH sensors for measuring soil acidity, and water level sensors for detecting the height of liquid compost. Data collected from these sensors is used to automatically control the organic waste mixing process until all composting specifications are met. The results indicate that this system effectively accelerates the composting process to 24 days for dry compost and 19 days for liquid compost without the need for additional microorganisms, while producing compost of high quality according to the SNI-19-7030-2004 specifications.

Abstract

PT XYZ operates in the service sector and is a creative agency that produces product videos for its clients. During this time PT. XYZ has not implemented a management information system to manage the resources they have and maintain relationships with clients. Ease of access via various platforms is the reason why applications are built based on websites. The stages used in the research correspond to the stages in the software development life cycle (SDLC) in the planning, analysis and design phases. Interviews and literature studies are used to explore the business processes that occur. It was found that there were three types of users, namely super admin, admin, and client. The processes handled by the system include employee registers, client registers, recording incoming orders, project monitoring, and checking employee availability. The diagrams used to explain the system plan that will be created are use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and entity relationship diagrams. Lo-fi designs are also created using the Figma application. Further research can continue to the implementation, support and security stages.

Abstract

Technology continues to evolve to this day; computers are highly essential machines that aid humans in completing various tasks. Presently, computer usage has become a basic necessity for people across all walks of life, including professionals and students. Particularly for students, computer devices are crucial as they support learning activities, thereby enhancing both academic and non-academic pursuits. One vital component of a computer setup is the monitor, which displays visual outputs. There are numerous monitor technologies continually advancing, encompassing variations in screen sizes, resolutions, aspect ratios, and refresh rates. Brands are also developing various panel technologies such as LCD, LED, OLED, and MINILED. The wide array of monitor models available in the market often leaves students perplexed when selecting the best option. Hence, choosing the optimal monitor necessitates a decision support system (DSS). The technique employed in this decision-making process is the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique, commonly known as SMART. The outcomes derived from this method are notably precise, serving as reliable recommendations for selecting the best monitor for FTII Uhamka students.
