Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see if cooperative learning improves students' grasp of passive voice in the first semester of accounting at Universitas Pamulang. This research is classified as Classroom Action Research (CAR), and it is used to discover and fix a problem related to students' comprehension of passive voice. The writer uses Hopkin's design in this Classroom Action Research. Meanwhile, the information gathered through the interview, questionnaire, observation, and test is being analyzed (pretest and posttest). Based on the outcomes of the study, it can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning in the teaching of passive voice is successful since the success criteria have been satisfied. The results of the posttest 2 reveal that 93.33 percent of the students, received a score of 70 or above. Furthermore, the results of the interview, observation, and questionnaire show a remarkable improvement. In conclusion, the results of the interview, observation, and questionnaire revealed that students' passive voice learning improved significantly after the cooperative learning approach was implemented in the teaching learning process.Keywords: Students' Understanding; Passive Voice; Cooperative Learning.

Abstract

The research has a goal, namely 1) Knowing the effect of learning with zoom cloud meetings on learning outcomes. 2) Knowing the effect of learning with google classroom has an impact on learning outcomes. 3) The effect of learning with zoom cloud meeting and google classroom together has an impact on the learning outcomes of inferential statistics for undergraduate accounting students at Pamulang University. A quantitative approach with associative type is used in this study. Methods of collecting research data with questionnaires and documentation. Test the validity and reliability for the instrument, test prerequisites before analysis, and test the hypothesis with regression. This study obtained the following results: (1) Online learning with zoom cloud meeting has an impact on learning outcomes, (2) online learning with google classroom has an impact on learning outcomes, (3) online learning with zoom cloud meeting and google classroom jointly have an impact on the learning outcomes of inferential statistics students of S1 Accounting at Pamulang University.Keywords: Zoom; Google Classroom; Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

The research conducted by the researcher aims to find information regarding the readiness of students in distance learning using the e-learning lecture model, the process of implementing e-learning learning in teaching and learning activities, the inhibiting factors for using online lectures. Thus, the results of the study showed that students were ready to accept the online learning process and their readiness in the application of ICT, however, several obstacles were found in the distance lecture process, such as the internet signal network that was not supported and adequate so that the process of implementing online lectures was not optimal.It was found that the aspects that became obstacles in distance learning using e-learning, which found 3 factors in it, namely: the lack of knowledge dissemination about e-learning lectures was less intense, there was still at least the use of tools and features provided in the e-learning model and still found "404 not found" because the destination website is experiencing problems.Keywords: Evaluation; E-learning; BINUS; UT; UNPAM;

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of MBKM implementation on lecturers, students, and education staff at Widya Mandala Surabaya Catholic University. This research is a descriptive research category and the approach chosen is formative evaluation. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The results of this study are that; 1) lecturers, students, and education staff have known and understood the existence of the MBKM program; 2) before the MBKM program was established, all study programs had similar programs; 3) lecturers, students, and education staff are interested in participating in MBKM programs; 4) lecturers, education staff and students recommend the MBKM program to be followed by all students taking into account the challenges that must be overcome, namely adjusting the MBKM curriculum, improving existing information systems, and formalizing collaboration with partners.Keywords: MBKM; effect; evaluation

Abstract

This study aims to analyze iand test hypotheses about the influence of professional competence and work motivationi teacher performance moderated by the work environment in Junior High School teachers in Kandeman District, Batang Regency. Respondents in this study were junior high school teachers located in Kandeman sub-district, a number of 105 respondents taken from 3 state Junior High Schools and 2 Junior High Schools with private status by using all respondents as samples. The study used questionnaires as a primary data collection method, and used validity tests and reliability tests to test the instruments of each variable studied. Regression Analys is in this study using SPSS software (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). This study also proves that the results of professional competence and work environment negatively affect teacher performance, while work motivation has no effection to teacher performance. The work environment is able to moderate the influence of professional competence on teacher performance and is not able to moderate the influence of work motivation on the teacher performance of Junior High School teachers in Kandeman District of Batang Regency.Keywords: professional competenc; work motivation; teacher performance; work environment.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of supervisor communication on the quality of student thesis. The research method used is a qualitative method using a case study approach. Case studies in qualitative research involve in-depth exploration of the phenomenon being studied through collecting information from various data sources over a certain period (Creswell, 2014; Mertens, 2010). The steps in this research method are: observation, interview, distribution of questionnaires/questionnaires and documentation. Respondents in this study were students of the Economic Education study program at Pamulang University who underwent a thesis trial. The results found from the research are good communication from lecturers and students is able to improve the quality of the thesis. Then the findings in this study there are several barriers in communication.Keywords: supervisor communication; thesis quality; students;

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the perceptions of education staff related to the Free Campus Merdeka Learning (MBKM) policy in higher education environments. This type of research is quantitative research. The sample in this study is educational staff who work at Pamulang University with a total of 266 education staff. Data collection techniques using research questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. The results show that the knowledge of education staff related to MBKM such as policies that include the number of semesters and number of credit conversions, information on the MBKM program, study program activities related to the MBKM program, application of MBKM policies in tertiary institutions, involvement in MBKM activities, the impact of MBKM on hard skills and shift student skills, increase the capacity of educational staff. This shows that there is a good understanding and can be applied in accordance with the guidelines available in higher education. In addition, there is an increase in the capacity of education personnel related to the service of educational activities.Keywords: educational staff; MBKM; policy; University;

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine how the influence of organizational commitment and teacher competence on teacher performance is moderated by school culture on elementary school civil servants teachers in the Regional Coordinator for Education, Subah District, Batang Regency. The population in this study were all PNS Elementary School Teachers in Subah District, totaling 108 teachers. The results of this study indicate that organizational commitment has no effect on teacher performance. Teacher competence has a positive and significant influence on teacher performance. School culture has no influence on teacher performance. School culture moderates the relationship between organizational commitment to teacher performance. School culture weakens the influence of teacher competence on teacher performance. Keywords: Organizational commitment; Teacher competence; Teacher performance; School culture.

Abstract

The purpose of developing English language materials 3 is to achieve learning targets in accordance with KKNI standards for teaching English outside the English department, namely English for specific purposes. The development of textbooks for English courses 3 with English content for specific purposes will include information technology that will help students learn independently with the support of mobile assisted language learning. These materials will help students develop 4 skills in English, namely, reading, speaking, listening and writing. This study uses  research and development (R&D) method, where the final product is an ISBN textbook for English courses 3. The steps of this research go through 6 stages, namely ; first, collect initial data, then plan the product, then carry out initial product development, the next stage is to conduct initial trials, then make several revisions to the book content, and conduct field tests. The 3rd semester students of the Informatics Engineering Study Program at Pamulang University in 2020/2021 are the subjects of this research.Keywords: Development; teaching materials; English for Specific Purposes; technology

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui pengaruh TIK terhadap prestasi belajar pada mahasiswa (2) Mengetahui pengaruh kemandirian terhadap prestasi belajar pada mahasiswa (3) Mengetahui pengaruh secara simultan antara TIK dan kemandirian terhadap prestasi belajar pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Variabel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari variabel bebas  yaitu TIK dan kemandirian  serta variabel terikat prestasi belajar. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang berjumlah 173 mahasiswa dengan jumlah sampel 120 mahasiswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara studi dokumen nilai, kuesioner dan studi literatur. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier sederhana dan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Tidak terdapat pengaruh  TIK terhadap prestasi belajar. (2) Terdapat pengaruh  kemandirian terhadap prestasi belajar. (3) Terdapat pengaruh secara simultan antara TIK dan kemandirian terhadap prestasi belajar. Penggunaan TIK memiliki hubungan yang positif langsung dengan keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam kemandirian belajarnya yang akan membantu untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar.
