Abstract

Self-efficacy in students can help students in carrying out the learning process at school, a student who has self-efficacy shows self-confidence in his ability to carry out his obligations and responsibilities as a student at school and feels confident in completing the tasks assigned to him. given by the teacher. In this study aiming to find out the efforts to increase students' self-efficacy through emotional intelligence, the research was conducted at MTsS Harapan Bangsa Aceh Barat, as many as 146 MTsS Harapan Bangsa Aceh Barat were used as research samples. This study uses quantitative analysis with correlational methods. The measuring instrument in this study uses an emotional intelligence scale based on Goleman's theory (2004) and a self-efficacy scale based on Bandura's theory (1997). From the research it was found that self-efficacy (self-efficacy) can be increased by the presence of emotional intelligence in students as seen from the correlation coefficient value of r = 0.675 with p = 0.000. This shows that there is a very significant positive relationship between emotional intelligence and self-efficacy. It can be said that the higher the emotional intelligence, the higher the students' self-efficacy

Abstract

This research describes movement of educational renewal carried out by  KH. Syafi'i Hadzami is trying to develop all students as optimally as possible. Islamic education seeks to lead students towards personal maturity plenary, namely people of faith and knowledge. The role of ulama in contributing to the world of Islamic education very influences the color of education which is reflected in the educational process in Indonesia. KH. Syafi'i Hadzami is one of the scholars and educators who plays a role in advancing Islamic education in Indonesia in general and especially in the Jakarta area. The legacy of the Education system built by KH. Syafi'i Hadzami can still be seen today, with the various educational institutions he has established. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques by collecting written sources obtained from text books in the library, as well as other sources that support research on KH thinking. KH. Syafi'i Hadzami on the thought of educational renewal. The results showed that educational thinking is ideal according to KH. Syafi'i Hadzami is to be in harmony with the concept of Islam. This is in accordance with the environmental and personal pattern of him as a conceptor as well as an educational practitioner. teaching methods that are often used by KH. Syafi'i Hadzami is a talqin method, assignment, discussion, exemplary, and most importantly a method of guidance and example. The exemplary method is a method that is very attached to him as a scholar. So that the method he formulated is still very relevant in its use today. So that it can be one of the references for an educator in applying the educational methods he uses in the education process today. In other words, it can be said that both conceptually and practically, that Islamic education can be flexible and contribute positively along with urbanism and cosmopolitanism and the transformation of society

Abstract

The research objective is to describe the management of teaching and educational staff in educational institutions, especially Islamic schools. Qualitative research methods through case study studies. Data collection techniques: interviews with 1 school principal, 3 teachers and 1 administrative staff and 1 security guard; run and observation. Data analysis techniques: reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Data validation technique with technique and source triangulation. Research results: (1) planning: first quantity analysis: determining the amount according to the needs of the school. Two payment criteria: Islamic religion, at least being able to read the Koran, Muslim clothing (covering the genitals), linear diploma, able to work individually and in groups. (2) procurement: job vacancies and cooperation with other schools. (3) coaching and development: further studies, training/seminars/workshops and regular meetings, monthly religious coaching. (4) promotions and transfers: promotions and workplace transfers. (5) dismissal: severe prohibition, death and age. (6) compensation and awards: salary, benefits, trophies/certificates, further studies, umrah, pilgrimage

Abstract

This research is motivated by one of the factors for the growth of learning motivation that can encourage from outside and from within a person to be able to do a good action, namely less than optimal parental attention. Supervision and direction from parents will affect children in following lessons at school. This research aims: to measure how much influence parental attention has on learning motivation at MI Al-Hidayah UKA. The method used is a type of Quantitative Research with a Descriptive Correlational Analytic method. Sampling technique using Simple random sampling, with a total of 57 students. The results showed that when viewed in terms of coefficient tests Product Moment produce " " or " " is 0.505, while "rt" at a significant level of 5% = 0.254 and a significant level of 1% = 0.330. Thus it can be accepted and approved, while the Null Hypothesis (Ho) is rejected or disapproved. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is an influence on parents' attention to learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the contribution of Islamic education in alleviating poverty. This study uses a descriptive analysis method. Data collection uses library research techniques by referring to written data published in the form of books, encyclopedias, and scientific journals that are relevant to the theme taken. Furthermore, coding is carried out and continued by analyzing categorically and poured into a narrative in a logical, systematic and reflective manner. The results of the study indicate that Islamic education plays a crucial role in poverty alleviation by implementing holistic learning methods, techniques, and strategies. Islamic education must pay attention to various aspects such as the biological and genetic environment of students, physiological and technical needs, and their neurological and rational development. In addition, psychological and spiritual aspects must be considered to form a strong work ethic. With this holistic approach, Islamic education not only educates individuals to be intelligent and skilled, but also forms perfect human beings who have integrity and the ability to overcome economic challenges, thus significantly contributing to poverty alleviation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the contributions and critiques of positivism in contemporary Islamic studies. A qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method is employed to analyze relevant literature, including key works in positivist philosophy and Islamic studies. Positivism, as a philosophical approach emphasizing the importance of empirical data and scientific methods, has provided a strong foundation for objective analyses of Islamic issues such as gender equality, social justice, and sustainable development. In the context of Islamic politics, this approach facilitates the analysis of Muslim voters' behavior based on data, while in social fiqh, positivism aids in designing inclusive and data-driven public policies. However, this study also highlights critiques from phenomenology and postmodernism, which argue that positivism often neglects subjective, spiritual, and transcendental dimensions that are central to Islamic teachings. To develop a more holistic Islamic study, integrating positivist approaches with normative-spiritual perspectives is necessary, ensuring that Islamic studies remain relevant, inclusive, and responsive to contemporary challenges

Abstract

This study aims to understand the application of the Mahfudzat method in learning Arabic at MTs Al-Mustaqim Bintaro. Learning Arabic through Mahfudzat is expected to improve students' vocabulary and provide a philosophy of life through teaching Arabic proverbs. The research methodology used is qualitative descriptive, where data is collected through interviews with teachers and students, as well as literature studies. The results of the study indicate that learning using Mahfudzat can help students memorize Arabic vocabulary and apply the meaning of proverbs in everyday life. Students are taught to memorize proverbs and understand their meanings, with the hope that they can apply the advice in real life. Teachers play an important role in this process, providing appropriate guidance so that students can understand the material well. In conclusion, the use of the Mahfudzat method is effective in improving students' Arabic language skills and forming noble characters

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of social media on the development of the morals of ninth grade students at SMP Adzkia Islamic School. In today's digital era, social media plays an important role in everyday life, especially for teenagers. The research methodology used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document studies, involving students, teachers, and school staff. The results of the study indicate that the use of social media has positive and negative impacts on students' morals. The positive impacts include ease of accessing information, expanding friendship networks, and supporting distance learning. However, negative impacts were also found, such as decreasing time for religious studies, the emergence of rude behavior, and negative influences in communicating with peers. This study concludes that the use of social media needs to be monitored and directed, especially for students, so that they can use it wisely and are not influenced by its negative impacts. This study recommends intensive coaching and guidance from schools and parents in the use of social media by students to prevent negative influences that can damage their morals

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the evolution and integration of Islamic law in the Indonesian legal system, with a focus on the political dynamics that influence the legislative process. Islamic law in Indonesia has come a long way since the Dutch colonial era, where it served as a moral and legal foundation for Muslims. After independence, Islamic law began to be formalized in national legislation through various regulations such as the Marriage Law and the Compilation of Islamic Law. This integration of Islamic law was driven by the demands of the Muslim community to have clear legal guidance, especially in the field of family law. However, the process of Islamic law legislation is not free from socio-political influences. The role of Pancasila as the state ideology is key to maintaining a balance between Islamic law and democratic principles. Legal politics in Indonesia reflects the ongoing negotiation between religious principles and the needs of modern society. The Reformation era marked the strengthening of Islamic law in various sectors, including Islamic banking and halal product assurance, but also showed a decline in political support for Islamic parties. The results of this study suggest that Islamic law plays an important role in shaping the Indonesian legal system. Although challenges remain in integrating religious principles with democratic values, Islamic law continues to adapt to social and political changes in Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' creativity and learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects by utilizing infocus media as a learning resource. The main objective of this study is to overcome traditional learning methods that are less effective in developing student creativity and involvement. By integrating infocus media, it is expected that students can better understand the material on reprehensible morals and be actively involved in the learning process. The methodology used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of several stages: planning, implementing actions, observation, and reflection. Data collection methods include observation, student learning outcome tests, and interviews with teachers and students. The researcher also used formative tests to assess students' abilities before and after the action. The results of the study showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes and creativity. In the first cycle, the average student learning outcomes increased from 59.00% in the post-test to 65.00%. The increase continued in the second cycle with an average value reaching 78.00%. In addition, student involvement in the learning process also increased, especially in understanding and applying concepts taught through infocus media. In conclusion, the use of infocus media has proven effective in improving creativity and student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education subjects, especially in the topic of reprehensible morals
