Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the influence of leadership style, motivation and work discipline on employee performance at PT. XYZ South Jakarta. The type of research used is explanatory research with research methods in the form of data collection using questionnaires. The data analysis model used is multiple linear regression analysis. Sample selection is done by nonprobability sampling. The sample amounted to 100 respondents, using multiple linear regression analysis. The regression test results showed that 52.9% of employee performance factors could be explained by leadership style, motivation and work discipline while the remaining 47.1% were explained by other factors not studied in this study. While the results of the F test show that simultaneously the variables of leadership style, motivation and work discipline simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance with the results of the analysis, namely the value of Fcalculate (38,088) > Ftable (2,700). The results of the t test showed that the leadership style variable showed the results of the tcount analysis (1,998), the motivation variable showed the results of the tcount analysis (3,268) and the work discipline variable showed the results of the tcount analysis (2,274) where the ttable (1,98397) then partially the three valiabels had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. XYZ South Jakarta. The dominant variable affecting employee performance is motivation.

Abstract

The role of the Central Statistics Agency is very dependent on the human resources working in the agency. Employees must have good expertise and skills. This work requires high professionalism and integrity, because the data produced must be accurate and trustworthy. The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of work-family conflict, workload and compensation on job satisfaction and its implications for employee organizational commitment. Questionnaires were used as a data collection technique obtained from BPS employees in the Papua Province region with a final sample of 203 people. The sampling technique is probability sampling with an area sampling approach. Data were analyzed using the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) technique. The research results show that work-family conflict and compensation have a significant effect on job satisfaction, but workload does not have a significant effect on job satisfaction. Apart from that, compensation and job satisfaction have a significant effect on organizational commitment. However, work-family conflict and workload do not have a significant effect on organizational commitment. The final results show that job satisfaction mediates the effect of compensation on organizational commitment.

Abstract

This research describes the integration of digital business materials into English Language Teaching (ELT). This research is descriptive qualitative research. The analysis shows that English proficiency is fundamental for adapting and succeeding in digital business amid ongoing globalization and technological advancement. Integrating digital business contexts into English materials equips learners with technical terms and concepts essential for innovation and management in digital enterprises. Teaching English skills for digital business is crucial for preparing individuals to thrive in today's interconnected global business landscape. Teaching English for digital business requires an integrated approach focused on e-commerce, digital marketing, and fintech contexts. Proficiency in English facilitates effective communication via digital platforms like email, video conferencing, and social media, enabling seamless collaboration with international colleagues and clients. It also ensures direct access to essential information and documentation in English within a digital business, eliminating translation barriers and ensuring comprehensive understanding. Mastery of English in understanding technology concepts such as e-commerce and artificial intelligence empowers individuals to actively contribute to strategic decision-making. In digital marketing, English proficiency is vital for creating compelling content and optimizing strategies globally. Teaching materials for English language skills in digital business cover a broad spectrum of topics in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. These include analyzing case studies of digital transformations, reading industry whitepapers on blockchain and e-commerce trends, understanding regulatory documents, and analyzing big data for consumer insights. Writing tasks range from crafting technology project proposals to developing SEO-driven content strategies and drafting legal contracts. Listening activities involve industry podcasts, negotiation simulations, and webinars on technology innovations while speaking exercises include pitching ideas, cross-cultural communication, and presenting digital products. These materials not only enhance language proficiency but also cultivate analytical, communication, and strategic skills essential for navigating the complexities of the digital economy and seizing global business opportunities.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the type of democratic leadership and its impact on improving services to fishing pond customers. Through a qualitative research approach, the researcher identified and analysed various aspects of democratic leadership related to improving the customer service of fishing ponds. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews with managers and staff of fishing ponds that apply democratic leadership, as well as participatory observation to understand the dynamics of the work group. The results showed that strong democratic leadership plays an important role in influencing organisational culture, employee participation, and the quality of service to customers. The active participation of employees in decision-making, their involvement in designing and implementing policies, and the existence of a fair division of power all contribute to the improvement of responsive and quality services. In addition, this research highlights the importance of open and transparent communication between managers and employees, which allows for a strong sense of ownership, trust and collaboration. In the context of a fishing pond, democratic leadership creates a reliable work environment, where employees feel valued and encouraged to innovate, which ultimately impacts customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh entrepreneurship, inovasi, dan peluang usaha terhadap kinerja usaha pada wirausaha makanan di Jakarta Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 142 wirausaha makanan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa entrepreneurship berpengaruh positif secara parsial terhadap kinerja usaha, inovasi berpengaruh positif secara parsial terhadap kinerja usaha, dan peluang usaha tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja usaha. Entrepreneursip, inovasi dan peluang usaha berpengaruh positif secara simultan terhadap kinerja usaha. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan entrepreneurship, inovasi, dapat meningkatkan kinerja usaha wirausaha makanan di Jakarta Barat. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya pelatihan dan pengembangan keterampilan entrepreneurship serta dorongan untuk menciptakan inovasi guna meningkatkan kinerja usaha

Abstract

This study aims to investigate empirically the basis for improving user satisfaction of accounting information systems by using basic theoretical concepts and supporting assessment tables which are the basis for the research topic of User Satisfaction of Accounting Information Systems by using the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) Model for accountants in Indonesian banking companies. This study uses a systematic literature review method by using the Publish or Perish version 8 application as a support for scientific literature collection. The researcher determined that the procedure carried out in collecting the literature of this research was sourced from scientific publications that had indexes on the crossref and google scholar databases. The results of this study found that the EUCS Theory emphasizes five key factors that affect user satisfaction including content, precision, format, usability and timeliness. Each of these dimensions is very important in determining user satisfaction with the accounting information system used.

Abstract

This research aims to be able to increase MSMEs in the culinary sector because it involves the role of women and the typical knowledge possessed by women in DKI Jakarta. The population in this study is 1,157 MSMEs in the DKI Jakarta Region and MSMEs in the culinary sector. Sampling in this study was carried out by purposive sampling technique with the number of samples obtained 112. The software used in the study to analyze the data was SmartPLS v.4. The results of this study show that 1) women's distinctive knowledge has a significant effect on the role of women in community economic empowerment. 2) women's distinctive knowledge has a significant effect on MSMEs, because women's distinctive knowledge has an important role in improving MSMEs. 3) MSMEs have a significant influence on the role of women in community economic empowerment. 4) MSMEs mediate the relationship between women's distinctive knowledge and the role of women in community economic empowerment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji sejauh mana Pengaruh Efektivitas Relawan Pajak terhadap Kepatuhan Pajak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Data didapat melalui penyebaran kuesioner dengan mengaplikasikan teknik purpose sampling. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 100 orang. Software yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data ini adalah SmartPLS v.4. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa untuk memaksimalkan penerimaan pajak, pemerintah telah merancang berbagai Upaya salah satunya ialah meningkatkan Program edukasi perpajakan. Program Relawan Pajak ini merupakan salah satu bentuk kegiatan edukasi pajak yang tercangkup pada tema meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan perpajakan. Program ini bertujuan untuk membantu dan memberikan edukasi kepada wajib pajak dalam rangka meningkatkan kepatuhan pajak dan serta memberikan pelayanan langsung kepada wajib pajak. Hal ini dikarenakan sebagian besar Masyarakat belum memahami atau mengatahui mulai dari definisi pajak sampai dengan cara melaporkan dan membayarkan pajak tersebut, sebagai upaya meningkatkan kepatuhan dan menciptakan perilaku akan sadar pajak yang tinggi maka, efektivitas program relawan pajak ini berpengaruh positif terhadap kepatuhan pajak.

Abstract

This study measures the influence of tax amnesty and tax rates on taxpayer compliance with the aim of providing further understanding to those implementing tax amnesty programs and setting tax rates. The indicators used to measure taxpayer compliance include timely submission of tax returns; no tax arrears for any type of tax, except for tax arrears that have been approved for installment payments or deferred tax payments; financial statements audited by a public accountant or government financial supervisory agency with an unqualified opinion for three consecutive years; and no convictions for tax-related crimes based on a final court decision within the last five years. The indicators for tax amnesty include taxpayer knowledge of the tax amnesty program, taxpayer understanding of the tax amnesty program, taxpayer awareness of the tax amnesty, and the benefits of the tax amnesty program for taxpayers. The indicators for the tax rate variable include proportional rates, fixed rates, progressive rates, and regressive rates. This research aims to test hypotheses, typically explaining the nature of certain relationships or determining the independence of two or more factors in a situation. This study employs an explanatory method, wherein the researcher seeks to identify the causes of one or more issues. The results of the study indicate that taxpayer compliance is influenced by tax amnesty.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how Indonesian manufacturing companies' financial statements are affected by the implementation of Financial Accounting Standards. The use of SAKs is essential to ensuring that the financial statements provided are pertinent, trustworthy, and comparable in light of the growing complexity of business and the increasing demands for accountability and transparency. Using a quantitative methodology, this study gathers information from the 2021–2023 financial statements of eight industrial businesses listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Multiple regression analysis is the analytical technique employed to examine the link between the quality of financial statements as assessed by indicators of relevance, reliability, comparability, and understandability, and the application of SAK. The study's findings offer empirical support for the notion that applying SAK can enhance the quality of financial statements. They also offer suggestions for policymakers, accountants, and scholars.
