Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the significant role of WhatsApp in teaching vocabulary, especially staff learning achievement which was limited to vocabulary achievement as measured by a vocabulary test at Umbul Ponggok Klaten. Participants in this study amounted to 30 people consisting of 15 men and 15 women. All participants will learn English as a foreign language using WhatsApp to learn new vocabulary items via their mobile, tablet or laptop. Participants' English level will be measured. Random sampling procedure was carried out. To carry out the research, a true experimental design was used. The participants were assigned to two experimental and control groups. The assessment instrument in this study used a pre-test and post-test. The results showed that the use of the WhatsApp application in teaching vocabulary to the Umbul Ponggok Klaten staff was able to improve the achievement of new English vocabulary mastery of the Umbul Ponggok Klaten staff which was getting better.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of repurchase decisions in terms of experiential marketing and customer satisfaction at The Hidden Place Surakarta. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. This study uses primary data collected using a questionnaire as a research instrument. The sample research method used was non probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. The respondents of this study were consumers who made at least two purchases. respondents who used were 100 respondents. The data analysis technique used is path analysis. The results of the study can be concluded that experiential marketing has a positive and significant effect on repurchase decisions, experiential marketing has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, customer satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on repurchase decisions, experiential marketing has a positive and significant effect on repurchase decisions through customer satisfaction. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of current ratio and return on equity to stock returns with dividend policy as an intervening variable in the agricultural sector of the IDX 2015-2019 period. This type of research is a causal associative with a research method using a quantitative approach. The results obtained are that the current ratio has a positive and significant effect on the DPR, Return on equity has a negative and insignificant effect, the current ratio has a positive and significant effect on stock returns, ROE has a positive and significant effect, the DPR has a negative and significant effect, and the DPR does not. can affect CR and ROE on stock returns

Abstract

The study aims to obtain empirical evidence the effect of work stress, work engagement, placement and leadership on employee performance at FKIP UNS. The type of research is survey research. The sample of this study used a purposive sampling sample. The data collection techniques was done using questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using multiple regression analysis. This study concludes that work stress, work engagement, placement and leadership affect the performance of FKIP UNS employees simultaneously and in part the work engagement does not affect employee performance. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of tax avoidance and independent commissioners on csot of debt with company transparency as a moderating variable. The sample used in this study is a manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) 2015-2019. Samples were taken using purposive sammpling and obtained 44 companies. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis and absolute difference test. The results of this study indicate that tax avoidance has a negative effect on cost of debt. Independent commissioner has no negative effect on cost of debt. Company transparency is able to weaken the negative effects of tax avoidance. Company transparency is able to weaken the negative influence of independent commissioners. Keywords: Tax avoidance, independent commissioner, cost of debt, company transparency

Abstract

This research’s objectives are (1) to analyze communities’ response on Tirta Mandiri Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes)’ successful programs, (2) to analyze the transparency of village fund utilization as an empowering effort of BUMDes Tirta Mandiri for village’s self-reliance, (3) to analyze the accountability of village fund utilization for village’s self-reliance. The qualitative research used Focus Group Discussion, observation, interview, documentation, and physical devices method to collect the data. The data collection process used interview procedures with a self-arranged questionnaire. The data were analyzed using the interactive model which comprises data reduction, data presentation, concluding, and verification followed by the data collection process. The qualitative data were validated using source triangulation. The result of this research shows that (1) there are two kinds of response following the success of BUMDes Tirta Mandiri, they are communities who agree on the programs and the ones who do not, (2) the utilization of village fund as BUMDes Tirta Mandiri’s strengthening needs transparency on its process. The utilization of village funds as BUMDes Tirta Mandiri’s strengthening on the village’s self-reliance needs to be accountable for its accountability report. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implications of the variable capital structure, managerial ownership, and dividend policy on firm value in the property and real estate sub sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2014-2019 period. The sample in this research is property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2014-2019 period with a total of 6 companies obtained using the purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis which is supported by classical assumption tests such as normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and autocorrelation test. The results of this study indicate that capital structure has a positive and significant effect on firm value, managerial ownership has a positive and significant effect on firm value, while dividend policy has no significant effect on firm value. Simultaneously, capital structure, managerial ownership, and dividend policy have a positive and significant effect on firm value. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Capital Structure and Firm Size on Firm Value with Profitability as Intervening Variables. (Case Study on Manufacturing Companies in the Consumer Goods Industry Sector which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2018 Period). This research uses quantitative descriptive research type. Sample 27 companies using Purposive sampling technique. The analysis method uses path analysis with SPSS software version 21.Based on the test result min this study that the variable capital structure and company size have a positive and significant effect on profitability. Capital structure has no effect on firm value, firm size and profitability affect company value, and profitability is able to mediate the effect of capital structure and firm size on firm value. Abstract

This research intends to analyze the influence of Dividend Yield, Retention Ratio, Earnings per Share (or EPS), and Return on Equity (or ROE) on the Stock Price. It examines arrange of data set form Banks Company and in Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2012-2014. The researcher utilizes purposive sampling method with 25 Banks Company. The analysis technique used here is multiple regression with the least square difference and hypothesis test using t-statistic to examine partial regression coefficient and f-statistic to examine the mean of mutual effect with level of significant 5%.
