Abstract

SPADA UWGM is an e-learning platform used by Widyagama Mahakam University Samarinda (UWGM). This platform has been used since 2020 for the teaching and learning process, both to provide materials, assignments, and quizzes and to take attendance. The use of e-learning is certainly a technological innovation in the field of education. This progress is something that cannot be avoided because it is also strongly supported by the advancement of science, so there needs to be a measurement of the extent to which this e-learning can be accepted from the perception of its users. This study uses the UTAUT method with six variables, namely performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating condition, use behavior, and Behavioral Intention to measure the level of student acceptance of SPADA UWGM. The questionnaire used was a questionnaire with answer choices in the form of a Likert scale and was processed using the smart PLS application to see the reliability and validity of the questionnaire items and prove the hypothesis between variables with an error tolerance limit of 10%. The results of this study indicate that performance expectancy does not affect behavior intention. While effort expectancy and social influence influence behavior intention. Other things such as facilitation conditions and behavioral intentions influence use behavior. So based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that the performance of the SPADA UWGM e-learning system does not influence students' interest in using and utilizing the existing e-learning system. Meanwhile, social influence and a sense of trust that the existing system is easy to use have a significant influence on students' efforts and intentions in using the SPADA UWGM e-learning system. Other things such as the condition of campus facilities in supporting the use of the system have an influence on students' seriousness in using the e-learning system, which means that the better the facilities, the more students' motivation will increase in utilizing SPADA UWGM sustainably.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries with a population of around two hundred million people, ranking fourth after the United States in the list of the most populous countries in the world. According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the birth rate is projected to reach 4.45 million people in 2022, an increase of 0.22% from the previous year, which was 4.45 million people. According to the 2007 Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS), the rate of exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia was only 32%. Factors such as maternal health, infant health, and formula milk promotions influence mothers' decisions to use formula milk. The availability of numerous formula brands complicates the decision-making process, with each brand offering different nutritional claims. This study employs the K-Medoids clustering algorithm to analyze factors affecting mothers' choices in formula feeding and the TOPSIS method to determine the most suitable formula for infants aged 0-6 months. The research involves clustering data from a questionnaire distributed to 100 mothers in the Solo Raya region into five categories: maternal health, maternal employment, formula promotion, infant health, and breastfeeding education. Results indicate that maternal health is the most influential factor, followed by infant health, maternal employment, and formula promotion. Lack of breastfeeding education does not significantly influence formula choice. The TOPSIS method, applied to evaluate 10 formula brands against six nutritional criteria, identifies Lactogen 1 as the best formula for infants aged 0-6 months with a highest value of 2.777104826. This data-driven approach provides a clear, systematic method for selecting an appropriate formula based on specific nutritional needs.

Abstract

This study evaluates air conditioning systems, focusing on addressing two primary types of heat: sensible and latent heat. Sensible heat, which affects temperature without causing a phase change in the material, is the main contributor to the cooling load and originates from human bodies, electronic equipment, and solar radiation penetrating windows. The study identifies that solar radiation significantly contributes to the heat load, particularly from the North and south sides. Peak heat gain on the north side occurs between 11:00 and 13:00, reaching 285,956 kcal/h, while the south side experiences reduced heat load due to natural shading. Meanwhile, latent heat, which relates to phase changes without a temperature increase, plays a minor role in this context. Heat gain from walls, particularly the east wall in Machine Classroom 1, reaching 5263 kcal/h at midnight, also plays a crucial part. Human activity, with a total of 7920 W or 7.92 kJ/h, and electronic equipment, contributing 32.55 watts or 117.18 kJ/h, add to the overall heat load. The total heat load peaks at midnight, with values around 44.235 kJ/h in Room 1 and 38.972 kJ/h in Room 2. Based on these calculations, the required AC capacity is 42,000 BTU/h for Room 1 and 36,000 BTU/h for Room 2. The capacity conversion shows a need for approximately 12.28 kW for Room 1 and 10.82 kW for Room 2. This study underscores the importance of selecting the appropriate AC capacity based on total heat load calculations involving various factors, especially in tropical regions like Palangka Raya, to ensure efficiency and thermal comfort.

Abstract

Farming or planting is part of human efforts to meet food needs, but along the time agricultural land is decreasing where one of the causes is due to infrastructure development, such as road construction, office buildings and others, so that the threat of a food crisis has arisen. A new agricultural method or technique emerged by utilizing existing land such as home yards as a substitute for rice fields called urban farming or urban agriculture, where this agriculture technique is not only conducted in rural areas but also can be implemented in urban areas. Of course it is a good initiative, as one of the actions in dealing with the threat of a food crisis due to reduced agricultural land. However, during implementation, urban farmers find technical obstacles such as in monitoring or controlling soil conditions and with time limitation. With the improvement or innovation of technology and the availability of the internet, this should be able to solve the problem, considering that these two things have not yet utilized properly in terms of agricultural activities, such as the use of the internet by farmers which is generally used for communicating. One technology that can be used and solved that problem is the Internet of Things (IoT). IoT can be utilized in monitoring the humidity of the soil via smartphones in real time. So, the obstacles that arise can be resolved by utilizing IoT and of course for the future this technology can be developed according to the needs.
