Abstract

This study uses Susenas March 2019 raw data in a cross-section of 34 provinces and 514 districts/cities in Indonesia with a coverage of 315,672 households, designed using a quasi-experiment on the treatment group and control group after program implementation. The treatment group was formed by beneficiary families while the control group was formed by non-beneficiary families. The sample of beneficiaries was 50,485 or 9,845,922 households if calculated with Susenas weighting (65.55% of the total 2019 realization of 15,020,323 national beneficiaries) and non-beneficiaries were 181,358 households. The data were analyzed using a probit regression model and impact estimation was conducted using the Propensity Score Matching (PSM) approach. The results suggest that education level is a bigger determinant for households to become Rastra-BPNT beneficiaries, especially for household heads who did not finish primary school and those who graduated from primary school. Rastra-BPNT food social assistance has a significant and positively correlated impact on beneficiary families with a pattern of food proportion to total expenditure > 50%. There was a shift in the food consumption budget share for Beneficiary Families in several dominant commodities such as grains; eggs and milk; processed food and beverages; and cigarettes, tobacco and betel. The distribution of Rastra-BPNT from November 2018 to February 2019 can reduce the gap between household groups, but there are still errors in the distribution of benefits.

Abstract

This research presents a comparative analysis of machine learning techniques for classifying Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks within network traffic. We evaluated the performance of three algorithms: Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, and Random Forest, including their scaled-feature counterparts. The study utilized a robust methodology incorporating advanced data preprocessing, feature engineering, and Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) to address class imbalance. The models were rigorously tested using a cross-validation framework, assessing their accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score. Results indicated that the Random Forest algorithm outperformed the others, demonstrating superior predictive accuracy and consistency, albeit with higher computational costs. Logistic Regression, when feature-scaled, showed significant improvement in performance, highlighting the importance of data normalization in models sensitive to feature scaling. Decision Trees provided a quick and interpretable model, though slightly less accurate than the Random Forest. The research findings highlight the trade-offs between predictive performance and computational efficiency in selecting machine learning models for cybersecurity applications. The study contributes to the cybersecurity domain by elucidating the efficacy of ensemble techniques in DDoS attack classification and underscores the potential for model improvement through scaling and data balancing.

Abstract

This study investigates the intricate dynamics of employee engagement, adaptive leadership, job satisfaction, and work productivity within the organizational context of PT Gangking Raya office in Makassar. Through a sample of 47 individuals, the study employs a rigorous analysis using SmartPLS to examine both direct and indirect relationships among these key variables. The results indicate a significant positive impact of employee engagement on job satisfaction and work productivity, emphasizing the pivotal role of an engaged workforce. While adaptive leadership shows a positive association with job satisfaction, its direct influence on work productivity is not statistically significant. Notably, job satisfaction emerges as a significant mediator between both employee engagement and adaptive leadership with work productivity. This suggests that cultivating high job satisfaction levels is crucial in maximizing the positive outcomes of employee engagement and adaptive leadership on overall work productivity. These findings offer valuable insights for organizational strategies, underscoring the importance of fostering employee engagement, adaptive leadership practices, and job satisfaction for a thriving and productive workplace environment at PT Gangking Raya.

Abstract

Ancient Egypt is an ancient civilization in northeastern Africa, centered on the lower reaches of the Nile River, an area that is now the country of Egypt. There are many historical remains from ancient Egyptian civilization. One of the famous remains of ancient Egyptian civilization is the Giza pyramid. The Pyramids of Giza are the greatest masterpieces ever created by humans in ancient times. The magnitude of the ancient Egyptian civilization makes many people interested in knowing information about this civilization. To make it easier to find out information about the ancient Egyptian civilization, an application was built with Augmented Reality technology. This application design uses the SDLC method which consists of analysis, design, programming, testing, operation and maintenance stages. This application was built by utilizing various software such as Unity 3D, Vuforia Engine, and Blender to create 3D models. This application development uses the C# programming language. This research succeeded in producing an Augmented Reality application designed for the Android platform. This application is able to display information in the form of text and 3D objects to users. The application trial was carried out using the Black Box Testing and User Acceptance method, involving 5 respondents who gave ratings from 1 to 5. The test results showed that users could use this application smoothly and the application ran according to user expectations.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the measurement of customer satisfaction and service quality in the context of rail transportation services. The theory used in this research is the Servqual theory, which emphasizes five dimensions of service quality, namely concrete evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The research method applied was a survey design involving 140 respondents who used rail transportation services in Surakarta. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling method, with the criteria being that respondents were less than 40 years old and had used train transportation services at least 4 times in the last year. The research results show that there is a positive influence of employee service behavior orientation on service quality with a T statistic of 7.041 (>1.96) and a P value of 0.000 (<0.05) and a positive influence of physical facilities on service quality with a t statistic of 4.860 (>1.96) and P value 0.000 (<0.05). Apart from that, service quality has also been proven to have a positive effect on consumer satisfaction with a T statistic of 12.942 (>1.96) and a P value of 0.000 (<0.05). The implication of these findings is that it is important for rail transportation service companies to pay attention to employee behavior and physical facilities as an effort to improve service quality, which in turn can increase consumer satisfaction and the competitiveness of transportation service companies.

Abstract

The success or failure of a project can be influenced by the lack of planning of project activities, and the supervision carried out is ineffective and has an impact on the project running inefficiently. Then, it will result in delays and a decrease in the quality of work and have an impact on swelling the project budget. Project management is needed in order to manage projects starting from implementation to the end of a project. This research uses a case study on the Pelita Ilmu Foundation Building Construction Project, especially architectural work. This building is located on Jl. Rawa Kuda, Kp. Rawa Kuda RT/RW 004/002 Karangharum, Kedungwaringin District, Bekasi Regency, West Java 17540 [1]. The S curve is used to find out how long a project takes to complete. The aim of this research is to determine time efficiency in terms of the S Curve graph. The results of time management analysis using the S Curve on the graph showed that the realization of time delays was not in accordance with the plan.

Abstract

Cashless payments via digital systems in the current era are seen as a modern payment alternative in several countries, including Indonesia. The emergence of digitalization via the internet has accelerated globalization and payment systems from manual transactions to online transactions. That is why in this day the behavioral intention to use e-wallets is increasingly high among Gen Z in almost all regions of Indonesia. Gen Z was born in an era of technological progress, where their behavior is very dependent on internet technology. This research purposes to analyze the effect of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, perceived compatibility, and trust on behavioural intention to use e-wallet. Populations in this research are Gen Z in Indonesia. Sampling in this research using convenience sampling technique through a questionnaire method, and collected as many as 169 samples in accordance with the criteria. In this research using SPSS version 20 to process data. The results showed that effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, and perceived compatibility had a positive effect to behavioural intention to use e-wallet. While performance expectancy, and trust had not a positive effect to behavioural intention to use e-wallet. And social influence had not a negative effect to behavioural intention to use e-wallet.
