Abstract

The scientific literacy skills of Indonesian students are still low. This condition encourages the government to improve the ability to solve problems, namely by issuing Permendikbud Number 65 of 2013 concerning the standards for the process of primary and secondary education, including the development of the domain of attitudes, knowledge, and skills. This development research aims to produce science learning tools on the topic of classification of living things in class VII of the SMP Negeri which are valid, practical and effective. Development research refers to the device development model with phases 1) Identifying problems, 2) Describing objectives, 3) Designing and developing devices, 4) Performing tests, 5) Evaluating test results, and 6) Communicating test results. Data was collected using instruments and evaluation questions. All data collected was analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the learning device was declared valid. Practical learning tools are used based on the results of the lesson plan implementation and student responses. Learning tools are also effectively based on results 1) cognitive assessment 2) psychomotor, social, and spiritual assessment, 3) critical thinking assessment, 4) student activity on teaching and learning activities and, 5) teacher response to teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

The use of good and appropriate teaching materials during the teaching and learning process can make learning more meaningful, namely creating an atmosphere of active learning for students, so that students can achieve the competencies expected by understanding the concepts of learning. The concept of the human circulatory system is a Biological concept that is relatively difficult to understand, so research and development of teaching materials are carried out in the form of handouts. This research and development aim to describe the validity of the concept handout of the human circulatory system of class XI IPA SMAN 6 Banjarmasin. This research is a type of research and development with a 4D development model. This research is limited only to the Develop stage. The results of the research and development of the concept handout of the human circulatory system of class XI IPA SMAN 6 Banjarmasin are classified as very valid with a validity value of 90%.AbstrakPenggunaan bahan ajar yang baik dan tepat selama proses belajar mengajar dapat membuat pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna yaitu menciptakan suasana belajar yang aktif bagi peserta didik, sehingga peserta didik mampu mencapai kompetensi yang diharapkan dengan memahami konsep pembelajaran. Konsep sistem peredaran darah manusia merupakan konsep Biologi yang relatif sulit dipahami, sehingga dilakukan penelitian dan pengembangan bahan ajar berupa handout. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan validitas handout konsep sistem peredaran darah manusia kelas XI IPA SMAN 6 Banjarmasin. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model pengembangan 4D. Penelitian ini dibatasi hanya sampai pada tahap Develop (Pengembangan). Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan handout konsep sistem peredaran darah manusia kelas XI IPA SMAN 6 Banjarmasin tergolong sangat valid dengan nilai validitas yaitu 90%.

Abstract

The results of the observation of biology learning in MAN 1 Banjarmasin are not familiar with using the teaching materials based on interactive technology. The development of teaching materials based on Augmented Reality Media can be a solution to solve these problems. This study aims to determine the practicality of biology teaching materials based on Islamic-science using Augmented Reality media. The design of this study uses the Borg and Gall models that have been approved to perfection of limited trial evaluation. The results showed that the teaching material developed was very practical to be used in supporting biology lessons in the Arthropods sub material.AbstrakHasil observasi pembelajaran biologi di MAN 1 Banjarmasin belum familiar menggunakan bahan ajar berbasis teknologi interaktif. Pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis media Augmented Reality dapat menjadi salah satu solusi untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepraktisan bahan ajar biologi berbasis islam-sains menggunakan media Augmented Reality. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan model Borg and Gall yang telah dimodifikasi yaitu sampai pada tahap penyempurnaan evaluasi dari uji coba terbatas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan sangat praktis digunakan dalam menunjang mata pelajaran biologi pada sub materi Arthropoda.

Abstract

Learning resources can be developed by utilizing the surrounding environment or based on local potential. Individual intelligence will grow and develop through a process of interaction with their environment, so it is necessary to use the environment in contextual learning. One of the sources of learning based on local potential that can be developed is popular scientific books. The development of learning resources in the form of popular scientific books in this study aims to overcome the problem of limited learning resources in low plant botanical subjects, especially on the topic of fungi with macroscopic materials and examples of fungi from the environment. This development research aims to test the practicality of a popular scientific book entitled "Forest Fungi Tabanio Beach". This development method uses Tessmer's formative evaluation. The practicality of popular scientific books was carried out by 3 students as small group test subjects to obtain expected practicality data and 17 students as field test subjects to obtain actual practicality data using student response questionnaires. In addition, data on the implementation of popular scientific books which were assessed by 3 observers were also obtained. The results showed that the developed popular scientific books were practical to be used as enrichment for Low Plant Botany courses.Abstrak Sumber belajar dapat dikembangkan dengan memanfaatkan lingkungan sekitar atau berbasis potensi lokal. Intelegensi individu akan tumbuh dan berkembang melalui proses interaksi dengan lingkungannya, sehingga perlu adanya pemanfaatan lingkungan dalam pembelajaran kontekstual. Sumber belajar berbasis potensi lokal yang dapat dikembangkan salah satunya yaitu buku ilmiah populer. Pengembangan sumber belajar berbentuk buku ilmiah populer dalam penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah keterbatasan sumber belajar pada mata kuliah botani tumbuhan rendah khususnya pada topik jamur dengan materi dan contoh-contoh jamur makroskopis dari lingkungan. Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menguji kepraktisan buku ilmiah populer yang berjudul "Jamur Hutan Pantai Tabanio". Metode pengembangan ini menggunakan evaluasi formatif dari Tessmer. Kepraktisan buku ilmiah populer dilakukan oleh 3 orang mahasiswa sebagai subjek uji small group untuk memperoleh data kepraktisan harapan dan 17 orang mahasiswa sebagai subjek uji field test untuk memperoleh data kepraktisan aktual dengan menggunakan angket respon mahasiswa. Selain itu juga diperoleh data keterlaksanaan buku ilmiah populer yang dinilai oleh 3 observer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan buku ilmiah populer yang dikembangkan praktis digunakan sebagai pengayaan mata kuliah Botani Tumbuhan Rendah.

Abstract

Validasi diartikan sebagai suatu tindakan pembuktian dengan cara yang sesuai bahwa tiap bahan, proses, prosedur, kegiatan, sistem, perlengkapan atau mekanisme yang digunakan dalam produksi dan pengawasan akan senantiasa mencapai hasil yang diinginkan. Buku yang divalidasi adalah buku ilmiah populer tumbuhan Maranthes corymbosa di kawasan hutan bukit Tamiang Kabupaten Tanah Laut. Validator terdiri dari 2 orang ahli dari Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan dari buku ilmiah populer Maranthes corymbosa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model education design research (EDR) dengan evaluasi uji formatif Tessmer. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan dari uji validasi oleh 2 validator ahli terhadap buku ilmiah populer Maranthes corymbosa adalah sangat valid dengan skor 91,3%.

Abstract

The results of science learning on the concept of natural resources achieved by the fourth-grade students of Tarungin 2 Elementary School Students have not been optimal with the average score of students is below 65, the average score obtained by students is only 59.5. That is because the lecture method still dominates the learning process. Classroom action research aims to increase teacher activity, student activity, and science learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students with the STAD type cooperative learning model. This research was conduct in two cycles, for three months (January-March 2020). The research subjects were 16 students, eight males, and eight females. Retrievals of data using observation techniques, tests, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique has been carrying descriptively. The results showed that the use of the STAD type cooperative learning model had increased teacher activity in managing learning, student activities during the learning process, and student learning outcomes.AbstrakHasil pembelajaran IPA pada konsep sumber daya alam yang dicapai siswa kelas IV SDN Tarungin 2 selama ini belum maksimal, rata-rata nilai siswa di bawah 65, nilai yang diperoleh siswa rata-rata hanya mencapai 59,5. Hal ini disebabkan metode ceramah masih mendominasi proses pembelajaran. Penelitian tindakan kelas bertujuan meningkatkan aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Penelitian dilaksanakan dua siklus, selama tiga bulan (Januari-Maret 2020). Subjek penelitian sebanyak 16 orang siswa, delapan orang laki-laki dan delapan orang perempuan. Pengambilan data dengan teknik observasi, tes, dan angket. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD telah meningkatkan aktivitas guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran, aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaran, dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Learning tools are instruments or equipment to carry out the learning process, worksheets, media, methods, and assessment rubric that will be used by the educators and students in their learning activities. This research aims to describe the validity of Model Learning Device Development Guided Inquiry on Animalia Concepts in Class X High School. The method that used in this research is Evaluation Development Research (EDR) through Tessmer Formative Evaluation which is limited only to expert validation. This type of research is a research development to produce products in the form of Syllabus, Lesson plan, worksheet, and valid Teaching Materials. The results showed that: 1) The validity of the syllabus developed based on expert tests has a very valid category, namely 100%, 2) The validity of the lesson plans that are developed based on expert test has a very valid category, namely: 92.19%, 3) Validity of worksheet developed based on test experts have a very valid category, namely 92.5%, and 4) validity on teaching materials developed based on expert tests have very valid category that is 92.56%.AbstrakPerangkat pembelajaran adalah alat atau perlengkapan untuk melaksanakan proses pembelajaran, lembar kerja, media, metode, dan rubrik penilaian yang akan digunakan pendidik dan peserta didik melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan validitas Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Model Inkuiri Terbimbing pada Konsep Animalia pada SMA Kelas X. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Evaluation Development Research (EDR) melalui Evaluasi Formatif Tessmer yang dibatasi hanya sampai validasi ahli (Expert Validation). Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa Silabus, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKDP), dan Bahan Ajar yang valid. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Validitas terhadap silabus yang dikembangkan berdasarkan uji pakar memiliki kategori sangat valid yaitu 100%, 2) Validitas RPP yang dikembangkan berdasarkan uji pakar memiliki kategori sangat valid yaitu 92.19%, 3) Validitas terhadap LKPD yang dikembangkan berdasarkan uji pakar memiliki kategori sangat valid yaitu 92.5%, dan 4) validitas terhadap bahan ajar yang dikembangkan berdasarkan uji pakar memiliki kategori sangat valid yaitu 92.56%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility and response of teachers and students to learning media DORA (Interactive Video) on the material of the coordination system applied to grade XI Senior High School. The approach used is qualitative with the type of development research (RnD) 4-D model which is limited to the dissemination stage. Retrieval of research data using a feasibility questionnaire and a response questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. The results showed that (1) learning media DORA (Interactive Video) is very feasible based on the assessment of media experts by 86%, material experts by 91%, language experts by 84%, and a readability questionnaire from the teacher by 85%, and students amounting to 83.89%; (2) the teacher's response is said to be very good with a percentage of 85%, and the response of students is said to be good with a percentage of 78.96%. Learning media DORA (Interactive Video) is packaged in the form of an android application so that it can be implemented in the classroom and online learning.Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan serta respon guru dan peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran DORA (Video Interaktif) pada materi sistem koordinasi yang diterapkan pada kelas XI SMA/MA. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian pengembangan (RnD) model 4-D yang dibatasi tidak sampai pada tahap desiminasi. Pengambilan data penelitian menggunakan angket kelayakan dan angket respon. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) media pembelajaran DORA (Video Interaktif) sangat layak berdasarkan penilaian dari para ahli media sebesar 86%, ahli materi sebesar 91%, ahli Bahasa sebesar 84%, serta angket keterbacaan dari guru sebesar 85%, dan peserta didik sebesar 83,89%; (2) respon guru dikatakan sangat baik dengan presentase sebesar 85% dan respon peserta didik dikatakan baik dengan presentase sebesar 78,96%. Media pembelajaran DORA (Video Interaktif) dikemas dalam bentuk aplikasi android sehingga dapat diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran dikelas maupun daring.

Abstract

Learning resources using popular scientific books based on local potential found in an area is one solution that can be used to overcome problems in learning Plant Ecology courses. This development research aims to describe the practicality of the contents, expectations and actual prototypes of a popular scientific book entitled “Tree Species Diversity in Puting Riverbank”. The research method uses a Tessmer design that focuses on formative evaluation. The results of the research on the practicality test of the content seen from the readability results of students got an average value of 94.23% with very good criteria, while the results of the practicality test of expectations and actual seen from the results of the implementation of popular scientific books which obtained an average value of 88.89% with very good criteria and the results of student responses to popular scientific books with an average of 95.96% with criteria strongly agree. This shows that a popular scientific book with the title "Diversity of Tree Species on the Puting Riverbank" is very practical to use to explore students' critical thinking skills in learning plant ecology.AbstrakSumber belajar menggunakan buku ilmiah populer berbasis potensi lokal yang terdapat pada suatu daerah merupakan salah satu solusi yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi masalah di dalam pembelajaran mata kuliah Ekologi Tumbuhan. Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kepraktisan isi, harapan dan aktual prototipe buku ilmiah populer yang berjudul “Keanekaragaman Jenis Pohon di Bantaran Sungai Puting” Metode penelitian menggunakan desain Tessmer yang berfokus pada evaluasi formatif. Hasil penelitian pada uji kepraktisan isi yang dilihat dari hasil keterbacaan mahasiswa mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 94,23% dengan kriteria sangat baik, sedangkan hasil uji kepraktisan harapan dan aktual dilihat dari hasil uji keterlaksanaan buku ilmiah populer yang memperoleh nilai rata-rata 88.89% dengan kriteria sangat baik dan hasil respon mahasiswa terhadap buku ilmiah populer dengan rata-rata 95,96% dengan kriteria sangat setuju. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa buku ilmiah populer dengan judul “Keanekaragaman Jenis Pohon di Bantaran Sungai Puting” sangat praktis digunakan untuk menggali keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran Ekologi Tumbuhan.

Abstract

Research and development of ANIKOR learning media (Coordination System Animation) aims to determine the feasibility of ANIKOR learning media developed on the coordination system material on the SMA/MA grade XI class. This development research using the Thiagarajan model until the third stage which consists of define (define), design (planning), and develop (development). Data analysis used quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques, while the instruments used were validation questionnaires, readability and response questionnaires. The results of the feasibility test carried out by material experts were stated in the very feasible category, namely 95.44%, media experts in the appropriate category, 78.73%, IT experts in the very feasible category, 92.38%, and language experts in the very feasible category, 85. 56%. The readability test of six students obtained 82.22% very feasible category. The results of the response test to the three biology teachers obtained 89.80% very feasible category. Response test to 33 students obtained 82.02% very feasible category. Therefore, ANIKOR learning media is suitable for use in the learning process because it can train students in formulating material conclusions based on their understanding.AbstrakPenelitian dan pengembangan media pembelajaran ANIKOR (Animasi Sistem Koordinasi) bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran ANIKOR yang dikembangkan pada materi sistem koordinasi kelas XI SMA/MA. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model Thiagarajan sampai tahap ketiga yang terdiri dari define (pendefisien), design (perencanaan), dan develop (pengembangan). Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis kuantitaif dan kualitatif, sedangkan instrumen yang digunakan yakni angket validasi, keterbacaan dan angket respon. Hasil uji kelayakan yang dilakukan oleh para ahli materi dinyatakan dalam kategori sangat layak yaitu 95,44%, ahli media kategori layak yaitu 78,73%, ahli IT kategori sangat layak yaitu 92,38%, dan ahli bahasa kategori sangat layak yaitu 85,56%. Uji keterbacaan terhadap enam siswa diperoleh 82.22% kategori sangat layak. Hasil uji respon terhadap tiga guru biologi diperoleh 89.80% kategori sangat layak. Uji respon terhadap 33 siswa diperoleh 82.02% kategori sangat layak. Oleh karena itu, media pembelajaran ANIKOR layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran karena dapat melatih siswa dalam merumuskan kesimpulan materi berdasarkan pemahamannya.
