Abstract

One of early childhood education that can help children to convey ideas and imagination is art. Eco-print is atechnique of art that utilizes natural materials as its ingredients. It has the potential to be a teaching materialin early childhood education so children can appreciate and learns environmentally friendly art by harness thenatural material around them. However, an eco-print lesson in early childhood education is still scarce due tothe lack of teaching materials and the lack of the teacher’s knowledge, specifically about eco-print techniquesfor early childhood education. This problem initiates the author to design training and teaching materials abouteco-print techniques for teachers of early childhood education. Before the training conduct, there will beresearch preparation, analysis of participant needs, trial and error design of the eco print. After then, evaluationconduct between trainer and participant. Based on an analysis of participant needs, the best eco-printtechnique for this training is hammering, which is the most straightforward eco-print technique. However, thehammering technique, which usually uses a hammer, is replaced with pestle wood because it is safer forchildren. The implementation of training was carried successfully in the South Jakarta through the POSDAYAcommunity. The result shows that teachers can accept the teaching materials due to the nature of its easyimplementation, easily obtained material, and safety procedures.

Aromatherapy decorative lights can bedeveloped into other functions that can support the activities of human needs in the interior, some of which arefor health and comfort. This artistic research is intended to make lighting products using wood that has notbeen utilized to the full. This artistic research is also trying to develop other materials which are still rarely usedoptimally, namely ultra violet lamps and essential oils. Essential oils are available in many tropical environmentswhile this is only used by the community as a medicinal ingredient and cooking spice. This artisticresearch activity begins with product discovery until innovation results are obtained in the product designprocess. The first stage in this published research is to determine the objects needed then conduct analysisand synthesis, then carry out the planning process in accordance with the needs of recovery, health andcomfort. This artistic creation is also trying to utilize the pallet wood waste that is commonly found at loadingand unloading locations of freight forwarding which is then combined with sonokeling wood as the main materialof the lamp. The results of this artistic study consist of several designs of Aromatherapy Decorative Lampsthat are used as room lighting elements, decorative elements and as aromatherapy media. The results of thisartistic research are also expected to provide sifting on the material for the MK Interior Design and MK. Abstract

Traces of “ ancient colors “ have begun to be known to humans since humans still live in caves. Some artifactsfrom the past are still displayed beautifully in several caves scattered throughout the world with conditions thatare still very good. This means that the colors depicted on the cave walls are still very clearly visible in thedirection of the colors such as red, white, black and brown. They have used natural coloring agents derivedfrom biotic and abiotic natural resources, such as animals, plants and mineral rocks Ancient colors becamean inspiration idea for researchers to conduct more in-depth research on materials and techniques by utilizingrocks or minerals that are around us. Stone, soil, bones, mixed with animal oil or fat can become coloringagents that have their own characteristics. It is possible to develop the potential of ancient colors that exist(plants, animals, soil, water, and rocks / minerals) in the batik center area of Sragen Regency to be exploredinto batik works of a characteristic region. The purpose of this Artistic (Art creation) research is to create anatural coloring formula from ancient rocks as an environmentally friendly natural dye for batik and its applicationto batik cloth.
