Abstract

Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) is a policy of the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture, which plays an important role in autonomous and flexible learning in student learning activities outside of study programs. However, MBKM has pros and cons, so it is necessary to analyze and evaluate its policies to improve performance through feedback from the community. This research will conduct a sentiment analysis on the MBKM policy on Twitter user tweets from 2022 with the keywords "MBKM", "kampus merdeka" and "merdekbelajar". The Naive Bayes Classifier (NBC) is used to analyze multiclass sentiment in Indonesian tweets into 3 (Three) Sentiment classes. Dataset collection and preparation begins with feature selection, eliminating duplication and tweet selection, then pre-processing is carried out, namely case folding, tokenizing, character cleaning, normalization to stemming for use in Labeling using Textblob which is required in making the Naïve Bayes Classifier model. The results of this study resulted in the Naïve Bayes model which had been trained from training data of 300 tweets with the best accuracy value of 79.66% having a Precision value of 79%, a Recall value of 80% and an F1-Score value of 79%. from the test of 1175 data the results were dominated by positive sentiment, namely 53.44%, followed by "neutral" sentiment, namely 34.47%, and "negative" sentiment, namely 12.08%.

Abstract

Universitas Mataram (UNRAM) merupakan perguruan tinggi yang menyediakan berbagai layanan sistem informasi untuk sivitas akademik dan umum. Namun, dalam penerapan sistem kerjasama di UNRAM, terdapat masalah terkait visualisasi user interface (UI) dan user experience (UX) pada sistem informasi kerjasama, serta masalah dalam entry dan sorting data kerjasama dan mahasiswa asing yang masih menggunakan excel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan peningkatan UI/UX pada sistem kerjasama UNRAM. Dalam penelitian ini, dirancang user interface (UI) dan user experience (UX) sebuah website yang digunakan untuk mengelola kerjasama UNRAM hingga tahap prototype-hasil pengodean. Metode design thinking digunakan dalam proses perancangan yang terdiri dari tahapan empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Pengujian konsep dilakukan menggunakan metode Single Ease Question (SEQ) dan pengujian usabilitas menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS). Pengujian melibatkan 20 responden, termasuk staf di bidang kerjasama UNRAM. Hasil pengujian konsep menunjukkan bahwa konsep dinilai memiliki keunikan, perbandingan baru, sangat menarik, berguna, dipercaya, serta relevan. Pengujian metode SUS menghasilkan skor 85, yang termasuk dalam kategori "acceptable" dan "good". Perubahan pada wireframe dan implementasi design system juga dilakukan untuk memastikan pengkodean yang lancar dan mengurangi keraguan terhadap ketentuan desain. Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan UI/UX sistem kerjasama UNRAM dan memberikan dasar yang kuat bagi pengembangan lebih lanjut.

Abstract

Hydroponics is an agricultural cultivation that uses water as a growing medium. One of the plants that can be cultivated hydroponically is the pakcoy plant. Pakcoy is a plant with an optimum water temperature range for its growth which is 15-30°C. The process of stabilizing the water temperature is important because the optimal temperature will make plant growth good. Currently, the process of monitoring and stabilizing water temperature is done manually and the process is carried out periodically so it is not easy to do. Therefore, the authors conducted a study to design an IoT-based intelligent thermostat for wicking hydroponic systems for pakcoy plants. The intelligent thermostat system consists of a DS18B20 water temperature sensor, a Peltier cooling system, and a water pump and uses the MQTT data communication protocol. This research was conducted with 3 stages of testing, namely, black box testing, Peltier calibration testing, and the final stage of testing which is divided into 2, namely without using a website and using a website. The final stage of testing is carried out in the morning, afternoon, evening, night, and early morning with the results of the system testing working to stabilize the water temperature when there is a temperature change of up to 2°C and then stabilized periodically to a tolerance of 1°C. So it can be concluded that the system in this study belongs to the category of a good system and is feasible to use.

Abstract

Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) is a virus that causes respiratory infections in humans. Indonesia is a country that has been infected with this virus, the implementation of restrictions on community activities (PPKM) is implemented by the government as a policy to reduce the spread of Covid-19. Pros and cons arise due to the impact of the policy. Therefore, assessing how public opinion or sentiment is towards this policy is important to do. This study aims to implement the XGBoost algorithm in the sentiment classification process. Sentiment analysis targets public opinion on Twitter, the dataset used is 1958 positive tweets and 3980 negative tweets. At the preprocessing stage, case-folding, stopwords removal, tokenizing, and stemming are carried out. Giving weights to terms uses the Term Frequency-Relevance Frequency method to turn each term into a number. In the final stage, classification is carried out by implementing the XGBoost method with optimal hyperparameter scores. K-fold cross validation is used to evaluate model performance. Based on the evaluation results, the best performance was obtained by a model with a hyperparameter value with an n_estimator of 1000, a learning_rate of 0.1, a max_depth of 6, a subsample of 1, a gamma of 0 and utilizing the stem-ming process in preprocessing with an accuracy value of 85.27%. precision of 86.07%, and recall of 85.23%.

Abstract

significance of mask usage, many individuals have not been using them correctly. In order to address this issue, a system for image processing was developed using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) capable of identifying three categories: wearing masks correctly, wearing masks incorrectly, and not wearing a mask. The dataset employed consists of 500 images for each category. Additionally, a comparison between using RGB and grayscale images was conducted, revealing that the RGB-based image model achieved an accuracy of 94.78%, while the Grayscale image reached an accuracy of 89.22%. These results confirm the importance of color information in the mask-wearing position detection process. Through this research, it is hoped to contribute to raising public awareness regarding the significance of proper mask usage in the efforts against Covid-19.

Abstract

Internet technology has a significant impact, especially for online restaurant businesses that require a restaurant management information system, known as CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system. The case study used in developing the CRM system for Valia's Kitchen. Valia's Kitchen is an online restaurant business that has been operating in the culinary industry since 2019, located in the city of Mataram. Valia's Kitchen has partnered with a ride-hailing company and provides its own application. However, there are limitations and shortcomings in the operational management provided, such as the inability to display customer data such as names and contact numbers due to privacy and security concerns, the inability to back up all order data, lack of inventory management for products and raw materials, and the absence of a cash flow record for expenditure and income over a specific period, leading to limitations in operational management features. To address these issues, the researchers designed a CRM Information System for Restaurants in the city of Mataram to improve operational efficiency and facilitate transactions with customers. The system is web-based, built using PHP programming language with a MySQL database, following the Personal Extreme Programming (PXP) development methodology, and tested using black box testing approach. The implementation of CRM in the system is manifested in features such as customer data management, menu management, raw material management, promotions management, partner management, raw material purchasing, restaurant expenses management, cash flow recording, transaction reports, restaurant statistics, and detailed reviews. The Black Box Testing results showed that the system features were functioning well without any errors. Furthermore, the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) results indicated that the average assessment scores for three admin respondents were 82%, while the average assessment scores for eleven respondents on the customer side were 86%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis dampak variasi kecepatan node terhadap protokol routing Minimum Energy Dynamic Source Routing-Link Expiration Time (MEDSR-LET) pada jaringan Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET). Protokol routing MEDSR-LET merupakan hasil modifikasi dari protokol Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) yang ditambahkan algoritma Link Expiration Time (LET) pada kerangka protokol tersebut agar lebih optimal dalam hal pencarian rute. Namun, protokol MEDSR-LET belum teruji dalam lingkungan jaringan yang kecepatan nodenya bervariasi, karena pada penelitian yang pernah dilakukan sebelumnya hanya diuji pada node yang hanya sampai kecepatan 20 m/s dan Quality of Service (QoS) yang diukur hanya konsumsi energinya saja. Penelitian ini menggunakan Network Simulator 2 (NS-2) untuk dilakukan analisis dampak variasi kecepatan node terhadap protokol routing MEDSR-LET. Berdasarkan hasil ujicoba dari skenario simulasi jaringan yang telah diberikan, protokol routing MEDSR-LET ternyata mengalami kesulitan dalam menjaga koneksi yang stabil pada node-node berkecepatan tinggi sehingga dapat mengakibatkan peningkatan overhead pengiriman paket, yang dapat mengurangi throughput yang sebenarnya digunakan untuk pertukaran data dan juga menurunkan nilai PDR. Kecepatan node yang tinggi juga mempengaruhi delay, dimana protokol MEDSR-LET mengalami peningkatan delay yang cukup signifikan. Abstract

The development of e-voting was first introduced in the United States in 1974. Various countries around the world have also implemented e-voting using Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), the internet, mobile phones, fax, and other technologies to facilitate the electoral process. Meanwhile, in Indonesia, the voting system is currently conducted solely through legislative and voting systems such as paper ballots or checkmarks. Therefore, in building an e-voting system, a Data Center is needed to store, process, disseminate data, accelerate the electoral process, and prevent the fraud that has been observed in traditional elections. This often leads to the idea of an e-voting system that is expected to effectively and efficiently accommodate all electoral principles while ensuring that democratic principles are upheld.

Abstract

Writing errors or spelling is a thing that needs to be considered because it can affect the calculations performed by some of the topics on Natural Language Processing that relies on the validity of the input data. Several studies have been conducted to correct writing errors that occur, one of which study by Fahma, A. I., et al using n-gram method and Levenshtein distance produced corrections with the best precision value of 0.97 for insertion type and best recall value by 1 for substitution types. With high accuracy, this study proposes to use the algorithm of development of Levenshtein, namely Damerau-Levenshtein, and n-gram methods. Damerau-Levenshtein has the same operations like insertion, deletion, substitution but with the addition of transposition operations between two characters. Damerau not only distinguishes four edit operations but also states that operations in the developed algorithms, can fit about 80% of all human writing errors. The types of n-grams used are bigram (n = 2) and trigram (n = 3). The testing results obtained in this study for the detection accuracy of the precision and recall ranged from 80%-100%. While correction accuracy testing uses equations proposed by Dahlmier and Ng, among the average accuracy values of precision and recall for all three scenarios, scenario C with a top 10 rating has the highest accuracy value of 96%.

Abstract

The Bimanese script is one of the archipelago's cultural heritage that needs to be preserved. The problem arose when some Bimanese people doubted the existence of the Bimanese script. Therefore, it is essential to safeguard the Bimanese script and learn the Bimanese script starting from reading and then understanding the letters. After that, add a line of sound marks to entirely understand the Bimanese script's meaning. This study aims to build an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model to recognize the Bimanese Script Syllable Pattern with Sound Sign Lines by using Moment Invariant feature extraction. Before doing the training, first, determine the parameters on the ANN using the Tuning Hyperparameter, in the test, using a dataset of 2250 images of the Bimanese script. Based on the results of the tests carried out based on the optimal parameters, the accuracy is 77.59%, precision is 78.44%, recall is 77.61%, and F1-Score is 77.33%. Then for testing using K-Fold cross-validation, the best results were obtained using K = 9 with a ratio of 8:1 where the resulting accuracy was 79.74%. Overall the results of this study are expected to preserve the Bimanese script and are developed more widely.
