Abstract

Marine animals are very susceptible to decay. The traditional method that is often used to distinguish the freshness of squid by local people is from the body color and smell of the squid. This method is very simple but has many shortcomings in distinguishing freshness from squid. The drawback of this method lies in the understanding and level of accuracy of each person who is different. So it is necessary to create a system that can distinguish the freshness level of squid automatically only from the image of the squid. In this study, a system model was developed that can classify the freshness level of squid using the Support Vector Mahine (SVM) method. The GLCM and histogram methods as well as the HSI color space are used for texture and color feature extraction. This study uses three types of classification. The total data used in this study are 360 body images of squid that have been cropped and resized by 128 x 128 pixels for the treatment type class. The total data for the freshness class with three types of classes is 495 and the total data for the freshness class with two types of classes is 330. In this study, the process of cropping, augmentation, resizing and conversion of color space in the dataset was carried out. The distribution of training data and test data is 70:30. The highest accuracy obtained is 67.75%.

Abstract

The Sasak script is one of the cultural heritage of the Sasak people on the island of Lombok. But lately, the Sasak script has begun to be rarely used among the Sasak people, especially among the younger generation. If this continues, the existence of the Sasak script is threatened with extinction. One of the efforts in preserving the Sasak script is digitizing the Sasak script to digital technology devices by utilizing Unicode. In this research, the author will make an android-based transliteration application and develop a rule-based algorithm that refers to the rules of the Sasak script. The string replacement method with hexadecimal addressing derived from the UTF-16 Unicode is used to adjust the Latin characters with the writing rules of the Sasak script. Digital writing of the Sasak script using 47 symbols from Unicode Balinese block on “1B00-1B7F”. To transliterate Latin script into the Sasak script, the author has developed 1704 rule-based rules to apply all the rules of writing the Sasak script. The accuracy test towards on 3 data sources, namely testing of street signage in Mataram City obtained an accuracy value of 97.20% from 250 data test, testing of "Bali-Indonesian Latin and Balinese script" dictionary obtained an accuracy value of 96,375 from 800 data test, and testing of Lontar Doyan Neda (Dewi Anjani) obtained an accuracy value of 65.33% from 600 data test. So that the overall accuracy obtained is 85.39% from 1650 data test.

Abstract

Abstract The web server is used at PT UCC to manage and store various information so that its presence must always be there when accessed by its workers both in low and high traffic conditions. Load balancing can be used to overcome slow connections and there is more than 1 server. In this study the author aims to compare the load balancing algorithm round robin and least connection using the nginx web server. The research is implementing the nginx web server because it is known for its opensource nature and has a load balancer function. Due to resource limitations, the server is run on a virtual machine that looks like a physical server. Server testing using httperf tools using throughput and response time measurement parameters. Testing by giving a load via httperf with a rate value of 30, 60 and 120. The results of the load balancing test, namely the least connection algorithm has a better throughput value and response time value than round robin. At a given low connection rate, a single server still has good performance. When providing more connection rates, load balancing systems have better capabilities than single server. Abstract

This research aims to build a chatbot based on Telegram application that integrated with academic information system in University of Mataram. The Telegram bot is expected as an alternative and more efficient way to access the academic information system. The development used the prototyping model as method of development. The Telegram bot is built using PHP that utilized the application programming interface provided by Telegram. The developed Telegram works properly displaying the results according to the commands entered. Performance of the integrated bot was measured by microtime function, to show the access time of any command. The results are then compared with the access time of the web based version that measured using the same function. The comparation shows that the access time of Telegram bot is more efficient than the web based version.

Abstract

Tracer study or commonly known as track record study or alumni survey, is the study of graduates of higher education institutions. The Faculty of Engineering is one of the faculties at the University of Mataram. The Faculty of Engineering, University of Mataram has four departments, including the Department of Civil Engineering, the Department of Mechanical Engineering, the Department of Electrical Engineering, and the Informatics Engineering study program. Each department will graduate students in each judicial period each year. At this time, the Faculty of Engineering has conducted a tracer study for its alumni. The tracer study is usually carried out using social media such as Facebook or using Google forms. This method is considered inappropriate because the files used are not stored in one place. The design process for this information system uses Waterfal. Waterfall is a reliable method in planning which is carried out with non-repetitive iterations. Based on the results of the questionnaire testing conducted, all respondents gave a score of agree and strongly agree. With an average percentage of 48% who answered strongly agree and a percentage of 52% for those who answered agree, this information system has helped the Faculty of Engineering in carrying out tracer studies.

Abstract

Al-Qur'an Education Park of Nurul Huda Kr. Tapen manages and presents financial information using Microsoft Excel. The processing and presentation of financial information using Microsoft Excel raises several problems such as difficulties in data collection of financial income, difficulties in carrying out data collection for brothers and sisters, the problem of donor registration that is still done offline and difficulties in reporting financial institutions recapitulation. Therefore, a web-based financial information system is needed that can overcome these problems. In this research a system was developed that could facilitate agency employees in managing income including infaq input for santri siblings, expenditure management, printing incentive slips for each teacher and report on the institution's overall financial recapitulation. Financial information systems are built with HTML and PHP programming languages, using Codeigniter as framework, MySql as a database server and Xampp as a local server.

Abstract

Huruf aksara merupakan salah satu warisan dari suku sasak dan perlu untuk dijaga keberadaannya, salah satunya adalah aksara sasak. seiring berkembangnya zaman huruf aksara sasak mulai semakin jarang dipelajari untuk itu diperlukan cara agar tetap dapat lestari diantaranya dengan membuat mesin untuk mengenali aksara sasak. Pada penelitian ini akan mengenali huruf aksara sasak dari model CNN yang telah dilatih untuk diimplementasikan ke perangkat android. CNN merupakan suatu model pembelajaran mesin yang dapat digunakan untuk melakukan klasifikasi pada suatu gambar. Dataset yang digunakan yaitu sebanyak 10.800 yang terdiri dari 5400 data tulisan tangan yang diambil pada empat kategori yaitu SD, SMP, SMA dan Perguruan Tinggi. Pada penelitian ini model terbaik yang diperoleh menghasilkan akurasi sebesar 99.31%. Hasil implementasi model ke android diujikan kepada 45 responden dan memperoleh rata-rata akurasi sebesar 80.83% dengan akurasi tertinggi 95.56% dan terendah sebesar 51.11%. Hasil akurasi yang diperoleh dipengaruhi oleh bentuk tulisan pada perangkat android.

Abstract

Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) adalah sebuah jaringan tanpa kabel yang terdiri atas mobile node yang bergerak secara acak. Node-node dalam jaringan ini berfungsi juga sebagai router yang bertanggung jawab untuk mencari dan menangani rute ke setiap node didalam jaringan. Didalam proses transmisi informasi dari sumber ke tujuan tersebut sering ditemui kendala sehingga menimbulkan beberapa masalah, seperti packet loss, delay waktu yang lama, dan masalah-masalah lainnya sehingga diperlukan strategi pemilihan skenario trafik yang baik agar setidaknya dapat mengurangi masalah-masalah tersebut. Transmisi informasi sangat bergantung pada kinerja skenario trafik yang digunakan, karena skenario trafik menentukan keandalan dalam transmisi paket [1]. Pada MANET terdapat dua model variasi mode trafik yang sering digunakan yaitu TCP/FTP dan UDP/CBR. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN PERFORMA MODE TRAFIK TCP DAN UDP MENGGUNAKAN PROTOKOL ROUTING AODV DAN DSR PADA JARINGAN MANET. Untuk mengukur performa kinerja dari skenario jaringan, digunakan beberapa parameter ukur antara lain adalah packet loss, throughput, dan end to end delay.

Abstract

Dinas Pariwisata (DisPar) adalah lembaga pelaksana bidang pariwisata pemerintah daerah Nusa Tenggara Barat dengan menyelenggarakan perumusan kebijakan teknis, kebijakan evaluasi, pelaporan administrasi dan pelaksanaan fungsi lain yang diberikan oleh Gubernur terkait dengan tugas dan fungsinya. Dispar memiliki banyak permasalahan salah satunya adalah pemasaran pariwisata belum dilaksanakan secara terarah, efektif, efisien, dan berkualitas. Karena adanya permasalahan-permasalahan tersebut, penulis bermaksud melakukan Analisis Tata Kelola TI untuk membantu memperbaiki kekurangan dari Teknologi Informasi yang ada pada DisPar Provinsi NTB. Tata Kelola TI dapat dijadikan sebagai solusi untuk mengetahui apakah pelayanan, pemulihan dan perencanaan yang dilakukan sudah sesuai atau belum dengan yang sudah direncanakan dari DisPar Provinsi NTB itu sendiri. Selain itu, Tata Kelola TI juga dapat menjadi referensi untuk pengelolaan manajemen TI pada DisPar Provinsi NTB. Tata Kelola TI (IT governance) menyediakan banyak tools di antaranya adalah COBIT dan ITIL yang akan penulis gunakan pada penelitian ini. Proses TI COBIT 4.1 yang digunakan untuk DisPar yaitu PO6 (mengkomunikasikan tujuan dan arah manajemen) sedangkan AI7 (install dan akreditasi solusi dan perubahan) dan siklus layanan ITIL V3 yang digunakan untuk DisPar yaitu Service Strategy (Strategi Layanan), Service Transition (Transisi Layanan), dan Service Operation (Pengoperasian Layanan).

Abstract

Face is a biometric feature that can be identified by most people in the world. Digital images of faces can be utilized by computer systems for the purpose of recognizing one's identity. In doing facial recognition, computers need the right method to get high accuracy with good computation time. In this study, the Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) feature extraction method and the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) classification method were implemented using the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) method for feature selection. The dataset used in this study is the ORL database of 400 face images taken from 40 different people and each person has 10 face images. Based on the test results, the highest accuracy obtained by LDA and KNN is 70.00% with a computation time of 0.2233s, while LDA and KNN based on PSO get the highest accuracy of 71.67% with a computation time of 0.1224s. So, it can be concluded that there is an increase in accuracy after the application of PSO, which is 1.67% and saves computation time by 0.1009s. An increase in accuracy indicates that PSO is able to select the best features correctly and is feasible to be processed at the time of classification.
