Abstract

Manual data processing leads to difficulty on managing existing data; hard to find and data need to be modified by fill in the form manually. That problem is concerned to lead to an error on data collection and interfere with government of village policy making. Web-based population data information system contains dashboard and data entry will be designed for those problem. This information system built using PHP programming language with CodeIgniter framework and MySQL as database. This information system also adapting Prototype method. This information system designed to help government of village to input and observe population data in order to determine policy and prioritize the problem that occur in the village.

Abstract

The transaction data contained in the pharmacy cannot be utilized optimally by the pharmacy. Management of data into useful information can be done by mining data (data mining). In this study, data processing uses the Apriori algorithm by utilizing association rules to obtain a pattern of connectedness from a combination of items. The results of processing transaction data will produce a number of rules that can serve as material for consideration in decision making. The amount of data used in this study was 43,191 transactions with 86,441 drug items and 449 drug names from sales transaction data for 1 year. The test scenario was carried out 4 times with 5 iterations in each test with different threshold values ​​for minimum support and confidence. The optimal minimum support threshold value obtained is 0.004 and the optimal minimum confidence is 0.06. The rules generated in this study amounted to 6 rules with 2 item combinations. The strongest rule combination is allopurinol and piroxicam with a support value of 0.006680 and a confidence of 0.191011 for the lowest rules value for a combination of paracetamol and amoxycillin drugs with a support value of 0.004396 and a confidence of 0.061809.

Abstract

Differences in the type of papaya fruit and the level of maturity of ripe and unripe papayas can be seen from the color, texture and shape. Manually, consumers can check by looking at the condition of the papaya fruit based on its distinguishing characteristics. This manual method can of course produce different conclusions for each person. Errors also often occur because this manual method is very dependent on understanding the characteristics of papaya fruit and the level of accuracy. Therefore, we need a system that can classify the type and level of maturity automatically. In this research, a system is developed that can classify types and levels of maturity based on color, texture and shape features using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method. The statistical approach method and the GLCM method are used in the feature extraction process. Color features in the HSI and YCbCr color spaces, texture features with GLCM and Horizontal Vertical Projection Integral shape features. The total data used in this study were 600 images of papaya fruit which were divided into training data and test data. The highest accuracy for the Bangkok dataset is obtained on the HSI feature, which is 66%, while for the California dataset it is obtained on the HSI feature, which is 65%.

Abstract

The Bima Script as known as Aksara Bima is one of Bima’s local heritage that needs to be preserved. Based on an online questionnaire of 81 respondent from Bima, there were 66.7% of people who were not familiar with the Bima's Script and 45.7% of people did not even know the existence of the Bima's Script [2]. One of the ways to preserving the Bima script is building a pattern recognition. This research proposes to build a machine learning model that is able to recognize the Handwriting of Bima Script through Zoning feature extraction, Image Centroid Zone (ICZ) and Zone Centroid Zone combined with Backpropagation Neural Network (BPNN) classification. Result of the test using ICZ reached an accuracy up to 87.03% and the result using ZCZ reached and accuracy up to 88.64%, The best performance obtained accuracy up to 89.89% by applying Hidden size = 2, 128 neurons, 0.02 learning rate, error limit 0.001, 1000 epochs, and 9:1 training:testing data.

Abstract

Elevator is a vertical means of transportation that requires a control system to change floor positions. The controller used in this research is a Programable Logic Controller (PLC). In PLCs, the designed logic is represented in ladder diagrams and embedded in internal memory. The design of the elevator simulator uses a board measuring 30cmx40cm, consisting of a PLC unit, several electronic components such as LEDs, on-off switches, cables, resistors, external power supply for the LED circuit power source as an output indicator. In the test, the LED will actively adjust to the logic design in the ladder diagram. The illustration of the control of a 6-floor elevator is described in the LED circuit simulator, including as an indicator of the movement of the elevator to each floor and a switch as a representation of the limit switch sensor and the pointer button for other purposes in a work process on the 6-floor elevator system. The logic of the system is built from 30 input indicators and 22 output indicators. After several stages of the test scenario have been carried out, the control logic that has been designed can work well.

Abstract

Lombok Island has extensive land resources with a lot of water content so that it is suitable to be managed and utilized for plantation. The Local Government continues to try to expand the planting area of ​​the plantation sector in order to increase production. To control management and development in plantation sector, Local Government needs a plantation monitoring information system. Some aspects of plantation that can be monitored include the location and area of ​​planting, types of plantation commodities, number of trees, amount of production, planting time, estimated harvest time, income and outlay. With the monitoring system, complete plantation data will be obtained so that Local Government can establish appropriate policies to increase production yields in plantation sector. The plantation monitoring information system designed is desktop-based. Abstract

Sales of Air Conditioners (AC) in Indonesia have increased due to the increase in temperature in Indonesia every year. This makes the use of electrical energy in Indonesia also increasing, excessive use of electricity can cause problems such as global warming. One solution to save on the use of electrical energy is to choose the right air conditioner as needed so that electricity use can be more efficient. To assist buyers in choosing air conditioners because the types of air conditioners are increasingly varied in terms of price, model and quality, a decision support system is needed that can assist buyers in choosing an air conditioner that suits their needs. The method used in this research is simple additive weighting (SAW) method. SAW is a decision support system method that determines the best alternative by calculating the weighted sum of the performance ratings on all alternatives across all criteria. Based on the results of the tests in this study, using the simple additive weighting method can help buyers in choosing an air conditioner that is in accordance with the choices that have been determined by the buyer using price, PK, power, cooling capacity, weight, warranty as comparison criteria. Abstract

Musik merupakan kombinasi antara nada, vokal dan juga instrumental yang harmoni untuk mengekspresikan sesuatu yang bersifat emosional. Mood musik dapat berpengaruh terhadap emosi manusia. Mood musik dapat meningkatkan gairah dan kesenangan serta dapat mempengaruhi emosi komunikasi. Musik dapat ditemukan dengan mudah melalui Digital Music Library (DML) namun pengelompokan musik pada DML terbatas hanya pada judul, nama penyanyi, album dan genre musik. Perlu adanya variasi dalam mengenali musik untuk menjangkau pengelompokan dan klasifikasi musik yang lebih luas. Penelitian ini betujuan untuk mengklasifikasi mood musik berdasarkan Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) dan menggunakan K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN). Dataset yang digunakan yaitu sebanyak 200 file musik dan terbagi menjadi 4 kelas mood berdasarkan Model Thayer yaitu angry (marah), happy (Bahagia), sad (sedih), dan relax (santai). Ekstraksi fitur menggunakan MFCC akan menghasilkan 13 fitur MFCC, 13 fitur delta dan 13 fitur delta-delta. Pada penelitian mendapatkan akurasi sebesar 85,5% menggunakan KNN dengan nilai k=5 dan menggunakan metode jarak Manhattan.

Abstract

The need for information on the boarding house and its location at this time is very important. However, due to the large amount of information about boarding houses and their available locations, the general public, especially students studying at universities, are confused about finding the location of a boarding house that suits their needs. Nowadays, many people use websites to find information about boarding houses, but the website only provides or provides information. Therefore, this research was built with the title "Implementation of the Decision Support System Method of Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique in the Selection of Boarding Houses Around the Medan State University Campus" which aims to create a website-based information system in determining boarding recommendations so that the general public, especially students, can choose boarding houses. - boarding according to their criteria and needs. The method used in this research is the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART).

Abstract

Bidang pariwisata saat ini juga sudah sangat terpengaruh oleh kemajuan teknologi dan internet, banyak dampak positif yang dirasakan dibidang pariwisata. TripAdvisor adalah platform wisata terbesar di dunia yang membantu wisatawan mengoptimalkan potensi setiap perjalanan, ulasan pada TripAdvisor mengandung berbagai aspek penilaian dan berupa mixed sentiment (seperti positif dan negatif). Untuk itu, perlu adanya Klasifikasi ulasan TripAdvisor pada tempat wisata sehingga dapat diketahui aspek penilaian apa saja yang sering dibahas oleh para pengunjung dan dapat menentukan penilaian secara spesifik apakah ulasan tersebut positif atau negatif.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Naïve Bayes Classifier Model ini sangat cepat dalam pelatihan dan dapat digunakan pada dataset yang lebih kecil. Meskipun merupakan model yang sederhana, namun metode ini mampu menghasilkan akurasi yang cukup tinggi. Dalam penelitian ini penulis juga menggunakan tambahan Fitur selection mutual information, MI digunakan dalam mengukur kontribusi sebuah term terhadap kategori yang tepat berdasarkan kehadiran atau ketidakhadiran. klasifikasi yang dilakukan dengan metode naïve bayes classifier dengan tambahan seleksi fitur mendapatkan nilai akurasi sebesar 85,86 %, sedangkan tanpa menggunakan seleksi fitur mutual information dan memperoleh akurasi sebesar 83,80%, berdasarkan kedua klasifikasi yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh selisih akurasi sebesar 2.06%, yang artinya proses klasifikasi dengan menggunakan seleksi fitur mutual information dapat menaikkan akurasi sebesar 2,06%.
