Abstract

The latest estimate of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), there are 382 million people living with diabetes in the world in 2013. In 2035 this number is expected to increase to 592 million people. Diabetes mellitus arises because of heredity and behavior. It can be said that hereditary factors are slow while those with diabetes mellitus are now a reflection of lifestyle changes including a diabetic diet. The main obstacle in handling diabetic mellitus is the saturation of patients in taking diet therapy which is very necessary to achieve success. This study aims to determine the effect of health education on dietary compliance in patients with type-II diabetes mellitus at the Tamiang Hulu Health Center in Aceh Tamiang District in 2019. The design of this study used quasi-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest. This study uses primary data collected using a questionnaire. The number of samples in this study were 15 respondents with probability sampling techniques (purposive sampling). The results of this study indicate that of the 15 majority respondents who did not adhere to the diet as many as 13 (86.7%) respondents and after being given the majority health education obediently carried out a diet of 10 (66.7%) respondents. The results of this study also concluded that there was an effect of health education on adherence to diet type-II diabetes mellitus at the Tamiang Hulu Health Center in Aceh Tamiang District with a p-value of 0,000 (p <0.05). The researcher suggested that respondents maintain a good diet and run a good diet and regulate the eating behavior.

Abstract

Technology is currently experiencing very rapid development, one of which is smart phones. One of the impacts resulting from these technological developments is the phenomenon of phubbing, where people are too focused on their respective smartphones when socializing. This article aims to find out what phubbing means for phubbers when socializing. This study uses a qualitative method by providing an overview in the form of a description of the phenomenon of phubbing. Data were obtained through observation and in-depth interviews with 12 informants from each faculty at Sebelas Maret University as well as secondary data from existing literature. Then analyzed using the concept of multitasking generation. The results of the study show that with the widespread use of smartphones in various groups ranging from children to adults, phubbing is considered a normal phenomenon even though sometimes there are parties who feel offended by phubbing, especially for victims of phubbing. They feel unappreciated when interacting with their interlocutors due to being too focused on their respective smartphones.

Abstract

Work stress is an individual's negative response to a job both physically and emotionally due to excess work ability limits. Coping stress is an individual's ability to handle the stress. Teachers are one of the jobs that can cause stress so teachers must have coping strategies to reduce it. This study aims to deepen teachers' job stress and coping factors in the epistemology of the philosophy of science using the method of systematic literature review (SLR). Literature sources are drawn from Google Scholar and Scopus databases for the last 10 years. From an academic perspective, the results of this study show that work stress and teachers' coping methods have an impact and correlation value that the use of coping methods can reduce work stress. The value of epistemology in this study is the causative factors of work stress and coping strategies to deal with it.

Abstract

Since the Corona Virus outbreak in 2019, there have been several threats as well as the benefits for the business community but most people felt the negative effect of this outbreak. People force to face threat on health, mental health, losing job, losing exponential growth of their business, but on the other side several health business growth exponentially as well as digital technology, they grow in immense quantity, Goddevrind V, Schumacher T, Seetharaman R, & Spillecke D, (2021) in their research about C2C e-commerce showing that there are massive adoption of digitalization which is jump 14% for the growth that would take two or three years and still growth about 8% or 9% to 2024. In this study, researchers try to understand in a deeper situation for the next normal which is the term for people to be hand in hand with this outbreak, people to live with it, as well as in the context of business. Several researches have been done to understand this situation, but what defines the difference for this research is the widest variables applied in order to grasp a broader view. Variables used such as; human innovation, commodity, labor, technology, policy and how differ generations perceive such an outbreak. Quantitative approach will be used in this study, and making sure that this research will fulfill its objective, researchers applied multivariate analysis (Manova) as a statistical tool. Innovations made by each individual for business growth affect the distribution of goods and services and do not affect the production of goods and/or services and the amount of consumption during the Covid-19 pandemic in Saumlaki. The limited number of workers during the Covid-19 pandemic affected quantity of production in Saumlaki but did not affect distribution and consumption. Policies made by the Government affect consumption of society in the business but do not affect production and distribution. Whereas during the Covid-19 pandemic, commodities, technology and generational differences did not affect business growth at all, such as production for businesses, distribution for businesses and consumption for businesses in Saumlaki.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the activity performd by non-essential company in optimizing employee relations activities and employee’s anxiety that arises during the Covid-19 pandemic focusing on internal communication. Using descriptive qualitative method and qualitative approaches, this research outlines a descriptions of the conditions and obstacles of the employee relations during Covid-19 pandemic, at PT. Hidayah Insan Mulia obtained through in-depth interview with employee and Human Resources division. The outcomes of this research indicates that although the company cannot carry out the employee relations activities as in normal condition and has to do some efficiency, but the company keep paying attention to the health and safety of their employees, with focusing on the treatment and recovery of employees who are confirmed positive for Covid-19. In this case, the company implements an open and kinship communication system through technique of communication performed directly by management (leader) and Human Resources division as Communication Facilitator, so that there is mutual understanding in internal communication between employees and management regarding the difficult situation experienced by the company. The application of online media as a communication medium is also well utilized by the company, so that communication can run well even though there are many uncertain conditions experienced and felt by employees, especially issues related to the continuity of the employee’s tenure. The internal communication performed by the company in employee relations activities is quite optimal. That causes many employees remain stay with the company in the face of the pandemic.

Abstract

Proses menyusui dapat berlangsung tanpa kesulitan, salah satu faktor penting yang harus dipenuhi ialah kelancaran produksi dan pengeluaran ASI. Partisipasi suami dapat membantu kelancaran pengeluaran ASI. Partisipasi suami sangat membantu secara praktis, fisik serta emosional. Pijat punggung dapat mempengaruhi faktor psikologis, sehingga dapat meningkatkan relaksasi dan tingkat kenyamanan pada Ibu sehingga memicu produksi hormon oksitosin yang mempengaruhi pengeluaran ASI. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh partisipasi suami dan pijat punggung dapt membantu kelancaran pengeluaran ASI pada Ibu post partum di puskesmas Mamajang kota Makassar. Subyek penelitian ini adalah Ibu Post Partum di Puskesmas Mamajang Kota Makassar. Desain penelitian menggunakan teknik Pretest Postest One Group Design. Analisis statistik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah statistic uji T, dengan tingkat kepercayaan α=0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi suami yang baik mendukung kelancaran pengeluaran ASI. Pijat punggung yang dilakukan dalam waktu tiga hari terbukti dapat membantu kelancaran pengeluaran ASI. Oleh karena itu, diharapkan kepada petugas kesehatan khususnya bidan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada Ibu post partum tentang manfaat pijat punggung untuk mempercepat pengeluaran ASI.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; 1). Mengetahui bentuk struktur pasar rumput laut (Eucheuma cottonii) kering di Kabupaten Kepulauan Tanimbar; 2). Mengetahui perilaku pasar rumput laut (Euchema cottonii) kering di Kabupaten Kepulauan Tanimbar; 3). Mengetahui penampilan pasar rumput laut (Eucheuma cottonii) kering di Kabupaten Kepulauan Tanimbar. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah; 1). Analisis struktur pasar meliputi, hambatan keluar masuk pasar, pengetahuan pasar, pangsa pasar dan konsentrasi pasar; 2). Analisis perilaku pasar meliputi, proses penjualan dan pembelian, sistem pembayaran serta kerjasama; dan 3). Analisis penampilan pasar meliputi, marjin pemasaran, analisis bagian harga yang diterima petani, analisis rasio keuntungan dan biaya pemasaran berkumpul dalam menjalankan kegiatan usaha budidaya rumput laut, sehingga mereka dapat mengatasi permasalahan secara bersama, baik itu input, teknik produksi, pemasaran maupun informasi pasar. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut bahwa Analisis marjin pemasaran dilakukan mulai dari petani rumput laut ke pedagang pengumpul. Marjin pemasaran tertinggi dari hasil pemasaran rumput laut dari petani rumput laut ke pedagang pengumpul sebear 20.000/Kg. Tingginya marjin Pemasaran dari hasil rumput laut diakibatkan karena berdasarkan hasil kesepakatan bersama dan berpedoman pada harga rumput laut dari daerah lain. sedangkan marjin terendah sebesar 10.000/Kg. Rendahnya marjin pemasaran diakibatkan karena adanya hubungan kekerabatan/kedekatan emosional antara petani rumput laut dan pedagang pengumpul.

Abstract

Indonesia memiliki beragam kuliner berdasarkan daerah setempat. Setiap Provinsi memiliki ragam budaya, bahasa, dan makanan tersendiri. Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) adalah salah satu Provinsi di Indonesia yang memiliki makanan unik yang oleh masyarakat setempat menyebutnya Nyale. Nyale merupakan salah satu makanan tradisional masyarakat NTB, nyale adalah cacing laut jika dalam bahasa indonesia, yang konon muncul setahun sekali, menurut kepercayaan masyarakat sekitar, nyale merupakan reinkarnasi dari putri Mandalika, sehingga setahun sekali masyarakat NTB merayakan aroma festival nyale (menangkap nyale). fungsi festival bau nyale sebagai upaya melestarikan budaya, serta mengetahui nilai-nilai budaya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui makanan tradisional nyale sebagai kuliner khas dalam pelestarian tradisi budaya dalam peristiwa bau nyale dengan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam perayaan setahun sekali di Nusa Tenggara Barat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diketahui Nyale merupakan makanan tradisional masyarakat NTB yang dalam proses penangkapan-nya disebut dengan istilah Bau Nyale. Proses mendapatkan-nya melalui serangkaian ritual budaya tersendiri yang berdampak pada daya tarik wisatawan lokal maupun mancanegara serta bau nyale dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya melestarikan kearifan lokal dan norma-norma yang terkandung dalam nilai filosofis dan historis masyarakat setempat melalui tradisi bau nyale itu sendiri.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh motivasi intrinsik dan ekstrinsik terhadap kinerja karyawan. Secara umum karyawan jelas bekerja untuk mendapatkan tunjangan moneter, namun kompensasi dan penghargaan moneter ini bukan satu-satunya persyaratan bekerja untuk semua karyawan. Beberapa dari mereka membutuhkan kenaikan gaji dan bonus untuk membuat diri mereka termotivasi sementara yang lain membutuhkan pengakuan dan tunjangan non-moneter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas bagaimana motivasi ekstrinsik dan intrinsik dapat menghambat atau meningkatkan tingkat motivasi karyawan. Motivasi intrinsik dan ekstrinsik dikatakan memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Studi ini meneliti karyawan industri perhotelan untuk mempelajari pengaruh motivasi intrinsik dan ekstrinsik terhadap kinerja karyawan. Ada hubungan positif motivasi intrinsik dan ekstrinsik karyawan dengan kinerja mereka. Dengan meningkatnya motivasi intrinsik dan ekstrinsik, kinerja karyawan cenderung meningkat juga.

Abstract

Hukum Adat merupakan keseluruhan aturan tingkah laku masyarakat yang berlaku dan mempunyai sanksi dan belum dikodifikasikan. Hukum Islam adalah salah satu hukum yang digunakan oleh Pemerintah Aceh dalam penegakan hukum Syari’ah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Sejauhmana penerapan hukum cambuk yang dilakukan oleh peraturan pemerintah Aceh terhadap terpidana dalam hal pelanggaran hukum Islam,Mengapa ada perbedaan hukuman cambuk dalam suatu putusan, dan apakah ini ada kaitanadat dalam hukum syariah di Aceh. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa hukum cambuk yang diberlakukan pada Qanun No. 6 Tahun 2014Tentang Hukum Jinayat tidak mendapat penolakan dari masyarakat Kutacane. Penegakan Qanun No. 6 Tahun 2014 dilakukan oleh Polisi Wilayatul Hisbah yang merupakan bagian dari Polisi Pamong Praja. Untuk penentuan hukuman pada terdakwa dilakukan oleh Majelis Hakim dalam persidangan. Penerapan hukum cambuk Qanun No. 6 Tahun 2014 diharapkan dapat menyebabkan efek jera terhadap pelaku serta menjadi contoh agar masyarakat Aceh tidak melanggar Qanun No. 6 Tahun 2014. Pada penerapannya hukum cambuk yang diterapkan pada pelanggar Qanun No. 6 Tahun 2014 diberikan hukuman yang berbeda-beda sesuai dengan jenis pelanggaran yang dilakukan oleh terdakwa
