Abstract

Relaxation therapy is equivalent to its meaning with both oral and insulin-lowered blood sugar-lowering drugs. Breath relaxation techniques to help relieve stress in Diabetes Mellitus patients so that it can help reduce blood sugar levels, this is in accordance with the opinion of Surwit et al in Kuswandi (2012), which states that stress management techniques when accompanied by standard treatments can help reduce levels blood glucose. The reduction achieved was also almost as big as the expected results of diabetes control drugs. This study aims to determine the effect of deep breath relaxation techniques on the reduction of blood sugar levels in people with diabetes mellitus. The bivariate analysis of this study used the t-test dependent formula with a confidence level of 95% with a value of α 0.05. The results of the study of blood sugar levels in patients with diabetes mellitus before and after breathing relaxation techniques using paired T-Test samples obtained a significant value of 0.07, ie there was no effect of deep breathing relaxation techniques on reducing blood sugar levels in people with diabetes mellitus in the Sungai Puskesmas Working Area Iyu. but the results of this study show a decrease in blood sugar levels after performing deep breathing relaxation techniques. It is expected that the health department will develop and implement the quality of nursing services for patients with diabetes mellitus by intervening in deep breathing relaxation techniques.

Abstract

Hypertension is a big and serious problem, in addition to its high prevalence and tends to increase every year, also because of the seriousness of this disease which causes other diseases such as heart disease, stroke and even sudden death. Hypertension diet is one of the effective non-pharmacological strategies to modify and control blood pressure, but patients must be completely obedient in implementing a hypertension diet. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and family support with adherence to a hypertension diet at the Kuala Simpang City Health Center, Aceh Tamiang Regency in 2019. This type of research was descriftive analytic with a cross sectional study design where the independent variable and the dependent variable were obtained at the same time. The population in this study were 43 hypertensive patients with accidental sampling technique. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and adherence to diet in hypertensive patients. The results of the Chi-Square test at the 95% confidence level obtained p value = 0.003 (p<0.05), there is a relationship between family support and dietary compliance in patients with hypertension obtained p-value = 0.001 (p<0.05). It is hoped that hypertensive patients will adhere to a hypertension diet so that blood pressure can be controlled.

Abstract

The latest estimate of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), there are 382 million people living with diabetes in the world in 2013. In 2035 this number is expected to increase to 592 million people. Diabetes mellitus arises because of heredity and behavior. It can be said that hereditary factors are slow while those with diabetes mellitus are now a reflection of lifestyle changes including a diabetic diet. The main obstacle in handling diabetic mellitus is the saturation of patients in taking diet therapy which is very necessary to achieve success. This study aims to determine the effect of health education on dietary compliance in patients with type-II diabetes mellitus at the Tamiang Hulu Health Center in Aceh Tamiang District in 2019. The design of this study used quasi-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest. This study uses primary data collected using a questionnaire. The number of samples in this study were 15 respondents with probability sampling techniques (purposive sampling). The results of this study indicate that of the 15 majority respondents who did not adhere to the diet as many as 13 (86.7%) respondents and after being given the majority health education obediently carried out a diet of 10 (66.7%) respondents. The results of this study also concluded that there was an effect of health education on adherence to diet type-II diabetes mellitus at the Tamiang Hulu Health Center in Aceh Tamiang District with a p-value of 0,000 (p <0.05). The researcher suggested that respondents maintain a good diet and run a good diet and regulate the eating behavior.

Abstract

Health care institutions must strive to satisfy customers. The spread of customer complaints should be avoided and instead customer satisfaction should be spread effectively. Satisfied customers usually have high loyalty, which must be maintained rather than chasing other customers who are not necessarily loyal. With the increasingly fierce competition in the global era, customer satisfaction must get serious attention. Every health service provider must try to satisfy customers if it wants to exist in the competition. Keywords: health service; quality; customer satisfaction

In order for patients to be cured they must take medication regularly as directed, spend the medicine according to the specified time (6-12 months) without interruption and involve health workers or family members to monitor and ensure TB patients adhere to taking medication. The design of this study used an analytic type with a cross sectional design. The number of samples in this study were 31 respondents with the Total Sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that of the 31 respondents the majority obediently consumed pulmonary TB drugs as many as 29 respondents (93.5%) and the majority of PMOs had sufficient knowledge as many as 13 respondents (41.9%). The researcher also concluded that there was no relationship between the knowledge supervisors taking medication (PMO) and the level of medication adherence in pulmonary TB patients in the Darul Falah Community Health Center Working Area with a p-value of 0.106 (p> 0.05). The researcher suggested to the Darul Falah Health Center to be able to conduct socialization of policies in an effort to increase PMO knowledge in monitoring taking medication in pulmonary TB patients.

Abstract

Physical exercise is the initial effort to prevent, control, and overcome diabetes. explains that physical exercise causes an increase in blood pressure, more capillary nets are opened so that more insulin receptors are available and receptors become more active which will affect the decrease in glucose in diabetic patients. Diabetics who do walking exercise at least 2 hours / week, compared with inactive individuals, have a mortality rate of 30% lower and the death rate due to cardiovascular disease (CVD) is 34% lower. Based on the results of several expert studies and preliminary observations conducted by researchers at the Langsa Kota Health Center, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus was found to be a disease that ranks in the top three of the 20 most diseases. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of road training to decrease blood sugar levels in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients in Langsa Kota Health Center. The results of the study showed that there was a difference in the mean value of blood sugar levels between before and after walking exercise, namely the mean value of blood sugar levels before walking exercise was 359.67, while the mean value of blood sugar levels after walking exercise was 265.13 based on the results of the T-test statistical analysis. The dependent test obtained a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05), this shows that there is an effect of walking exercise on reducing blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Langsa City Health Center The researcher suggested that health institutions develop and implement the quality of nursing services for patients with diabetes mellitus by conducting road exercise interventions
