Abstract

Amendment and development of education in Indonesia today requires various elements of education to participate in improving the quality of graduates to be able to compete in the global world. Indonesia was ranked 34th away from Singapore, Malaysia, Japan and Korea in the 20th position. This is because the educational institutions in Indonesia have not been able to produce graduates who are capable, superior, competeable with others. The educational tertiary education institution (LPTK) as one of the teacher producing institution has not been able to create prospective teacher who are ready to teach. The characteristic of the lecture process that is stated in Permenristek Dikti no. 44 of 2015 is interactive, holistic, integrative, scientific, contextual, thematic, effective, collaborative and student-centered. One way to realize this is to develop teaching materials that are used in applicable and communicative lectures. Based on the phenomenon, the researchers conducted research and development. In this study,  researchers produce the elementary statistical teaching materials using the Minitab application by following Borg & Gall's research and development steps, namely (1) Carrying out information gathering (2) Designing (3) Develop the initial product form (4) Conduct pilot field trials. If can be concluded that the research on the development of statistical teaching materials that have produced valid products and can be used in lectures to develop student creativity. This development research should be continued in the next stage, namely the product effectiveness stage.

Abstract

Whitening cream is a mixture of chemicals or other materials that serve to lighten skin or fade black spots on the skin. Bleaching creams that contain mercury is very harmful for health. The purpose of this study is to examine and establish the levels of mercury in the blood of women users of whitening creams in the city of Padang. Blood samples examined as many as 10 samples and whitening creams as much as 5 samples. The qualitative analysis of the bleaching creams done with color test method, while the quantitative analysis of the blood samples used method ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma). The results showed that of the five samples examined bleaching creams with color test, there are three positive samples contain mercury. while the results showed that the ten blood samples studied one sample contained mercury levels in the blood exceeds the normal value is 0.04435 mg / L. The use of whitening creams containing mercury can cause a variety of health complaints, ranging from skin discoloration, which in turn can cause black spots on the skin, allergies, skin irritation as well as the use of high doses can cause permanent brain damage, and can cause cancer.

Abstract

Biscuits Feed Forage is obtained by the technique Silage. These biscuits can be made from agricultural waste including corn waste. As one of the agricultural centers in West Sumatra, corn production in the District Batusangkar very high. However, agricultural production is not followed by the management of agricultural waste are mostly just burned. The purpose of the study was to test to make biscuits forage from corn waste using techniques silage accompanied with the addition of nutrients, the test mold making biscuits conventionally made using the technique of pressure, conducting organoleptic test and analysis proximate to product biscuit feed forage already made. The results were obtained from waste animal feed forage of good quality corn silage by using the technique. treatment P2 (corn leaves 1 kg + 5% + molasses urea 10%) and T1 (1minggu after harvest). Green feed made with the best formula is packaged in the form of biscuits using conventional printing equipment.

Abstract

Total production of a company must be appropriate to the existing demand and supply, if the amount of production is not suitable then it would result in losses of the company because there is no analysis of the market needs for demand and supply of products. UD Tempe Puji is domestic industry that produces tempe every day to provide the needs of the market. In producing UD Tempe Puji only estimate the market needs are uncertain that the market needs are not being met or exceeded. In the analysis of the amount of production at UD Tempe Puji using Tsukamoto fuzzy logic so that the amount of tempe to be produced in accordance with market needs based on demand and supply that exist automatically. Data was analyzed based on the demand, supply and production quantities are never done by UD Tempe Puji. In the method of drawing conclusions fuzzy Tsukamoto, each consequent upon the rule should be represented by a set of fuzzy with the membership function monotonous, as a result, the output results of inference of each rule is given explicitly by ?-predicate, the final result is obtained by using a weighted average.

Abstract

This study aims to find of the effect of the water decoction of red betel leaf (Piper crocatum Ruiz & Pav) on blood glucose levels and cholesterol male white mice. The method used in this study deskripstif exploration using betel leaf stew and given to a white male mice are sonde at a dose of 0.13 ml / 20gBB, 0.13 to 0.39 ml / 20gBB 0.13 and 0.26 ml / 20gBB during seven days and examined glucose and cholesterol levels of the mice. Research results show that the water decoction of red betel leaf (Piper crocatum Ruiz & Pav) can lower blood glucose levels of male white mice were significantly (p <0.05) by ANOVA statistical analysis.

Abstract

Research on identification of honey bee using Computed Radiography has been done. The testing was carried out by providing digital radiograph of the three types of honey bee. The voltage of the x-ray generator was varied at 50 kV, 60 kV and 70 kV, while filament current was set at 100 mA and exposure time was at 5 ms. Honey bee was identified based on the image line profile that indicated the distribution of linear absorption coefficient (µ) for each sample. The analyses on the image line profile showed that at the voltage of 50 kV and 70 kV the three kinds of the honey bee can be distinguished. However, at the voltage of 60 kV the difference among honey bee was unable to be identified.

Abstract

This study aims to generate power supply precision instrument digital display a valid and practical for students of physics 3rd semester of the school year 2014/2015. This research includes development research (research development) of the power supply circuit that has been common there are some drawbacks, namely, the output of output that does not fit, there is still AC voltage on the output value, the output voltage is unstable, so that the results of the lab basic physics 2 be not in accordance with the results of the theory. The addition of the diode bridge circuit helps perfect output voltage into DC, the capacitors in the circuit capacity was raised as a reliever ripple or ripples form to obtain a stable DC voltage value, for a voltage stabilizer is also used IC9815 surge protector. Limited trial conducted in STAIN Batusangakar to 26 students. Based on the results of data analysis has been carried out can be summarized as follows: (1) The results of the validation tool precision power supply digital display is very valid. (2) The results of trials carried out showed that the practicalities have met the criteria that can be used and implemented in a lab with practicality very practical value.

Abstract

Lead (Pb) is heavy metal which is naturally found in the earth's crust or originates from human activities, for example from combustion gas emissions in motorized vehicle engines. Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Health Number 1406 / MENKES / SKI / IX / 2002 concerning the examination of lead levels in human biomarker specimens human measurements of lead levels in the human body can be carried out by blood, urine and hair specimens. The purpose of this study is to determine the levels of lead metal in the urine of active smokers. The results of research on lead levels obtained on accuracy parameters, namely the accuracy test results for the method of wet destruction using HNO3 has an average recovery of 71.8% while using HNO3 added H2SO4 has an average recovery of 46.48%, precision test results are obtained % RSD method of destruction on HNO3 was 28.80%. If on HNO3 added 50.58% H2SO4, linearity test (r) 0.999, LoD value on HNO3 0.76 and on LoD HNO3 H2SO4 added. Based on the results of the study of verification of lead metal using wet digestion in the urine of active smokers not in the range of acceptability conditions it indicates that the method cannot be valid for use in the examination of lead in urine by the method of wet destruction in the active smookers.

Abstract

This research aims to determine species of fruit flies (Diptera: Tephritidae) the attacking orange plantion Rambah Samo District Rokan Hulu Regency. Study was conducted in March to May 2018, using a survey method with technique sampling purposive sampling. The research found 6 species with a total of 236 individuals. The species is Bactrocera umbrosa, B. Carambolae, B. Papayea, B. dorsalis, B. caudata and  B. albistrigata. Fruit fly species most widely found was B. carambolae the total number of 80 individiuals, whereas B. umbrosa total number of 24 individual, B. Papayea total number 48 individual, B. dorsalis total number of 7 individual, B. caudata total number of 74 individual, B. albistrigata total number of 3 individual.

Abstract

Technology that is developing at this paper are believed can help teachers to create learning media. For example, is the use of technology in m-learning's virtual learning media which can be applied to android smartphones. Learning that is currently happening is only conventional and the use of instructional media by teachers has not developed according to technological progress and the use of these technologies has not been applied in learning. Therefore, research is carried out which aims to produce an android-based biology learning module about the material of the regulatory system for SMA / MA students who are valid and practice. This research development using three of the four stages of the development model of 4-D Models, which consist of defining phases, design phases, develop phases, distribution phases (disseminate). The data of this study are primary data obtained from the validation sheet and practicality test questionnaire, then analyzed by descriptive analysis. This research produces a product in the form of a valid and practical biology-based learning module. Based on the validator's assessment, the android-based biology learning module is categorized as very valid (82.84). Based on the assessment of android-based biology subject teachers in the very practical category, the average results of 87.92 were obtained and based on the assessment of students the biology learning module was categorized as very practical and obtained an average value of 86.6. The Android-based biology learning module that the researchers developed is feasible to use in the learning process.
