Abstract

This study aims to produce a learning media design in the form of multimedia mathematics based inquiry learning for fourth grade students of elementary school. This type of research is development research using the 4D model. This study looks at how the procedures for developing multimedia learning mathematics learning are viewed from the form of flowcharts, Storyboarding, and multimedia programming results of mathematics learning. Then validation was seen from 3 aspects including the content aspect, constructive aspects and language aspects. From the results of the research that has been carried out obtained the average validation of 84.5 with a very valid category. Based on the research data that has been obtained, it can be concluded that the multimedia learning mathematics based inquiry has been valit and can be used in learning in elementary school.

Abstract

Garlic (Allium sativum. L) constitute one of plant which requisition high it at marketing because has a lot of benefit as condiment of cookery, as salving as and effects anti microbe. For meeting that marketing requisition needs improved its production. One of problem in garlic instilling is media plant out that has to increase low fecundity as soiled as podzolik tingles to yellow (PMK). Therefor needs effort for added organic fertiliser, one of that potentially is cabbage waste (Brassicaoleracea var. capitata) one that made by bokhasi with EM4'S application (Effective Microorganisms 4). Base that thing was done research about bokhasi's increase influence cabbage (Brassicaoleraceavar. capitata) to garlic growth (Allium sativum. L) on podzolik's earth tingles to yellow. Research is done on January until May 2015, at Bagiriak's Stone, Elongated allergy and Botanical Physiology Laboratory, FMIPA UNP. This experiment research utilize random design furnished with 5 conducts and 4 dry runs. Conduct that is given is distinctive dosed bokhasi's manure cabbage which is conduct A = 0 g / polibagbokhasi cabbages, conduct b = 250 g / polibag, conduct c = 500 g / polibag, conduct d. = 750 g / polibag, and conduct e = 1000 g / polibag. Observed parameter is tall plant, total helai leaf, total fang / corm, wet weight, dry weight, total root and pH is earth. dianalisis's data by use of ANOVA and lanjut DNMRT's quiz on level 5%. Result observationaling to point out that bokhasi's application cabbage significanting to high, total helai leaf, total fang / corm, wet weight, dry weight, and plant root amount garlic and not give reality influence on pH earth.Key words: bokhasi, cabbage, garlic, podzolik's earth tingles to yellow

Abstract

Portable taste sensor prototype has been fabricated as two channel ion meter and one types of ion selecting membrane. Two channel ion meter were made for pre development of the taste sensor system or as a electronic tongue wich acted as an multi channel ion meter.ion meter was made using IC op-amp LF412 as its amplifier and microcontroller Atmega8535. meanwhile types of the selecting membrane ion were made using variation: mix  of lipid diocthyl phosphate (DOP) and triocthyl methyl ammonium chloride (TOMA) with mass ratio respectively 3:7 and 9:1.  On this sensor, lipid determines membrane selectivity to particular ions. Output from taste sensor is a electric potential and then it could be compared with electrode potential references. This portable taste sensor prototype is then tested is ability to sensing for 5 types of solution: glucose, KCl, HCl, quinine, and MSG. Those 5 types represent 5 basic taste: sweet by glucose, salty by KCL, sour by HCl, bitter by quinine, and umami by MSG. Every solution is made using 1mM KCl  solution and it is variated to be 7 types of concentration. As a result, taste sensor with lipid membrane mixture of 3:7 mixing tend to respon to the anions sample, resulting potential which decreased for every increase in concentration. For membrane with a lipid mixture of 9:1 showed a tendency to respond to the cations sample, resulting potential which increased for every increase in concentration.Key words: taste sensor, ion meter, ion selecting membrane, lipid, diocthyl phosphate, methyl ammonium chloride.

Abstract

A research has been done about the effective dose measurement of thyroid and eye organ on mammography examination. The aims of the research is to determine the radiation dose absorbed by the thyroid organ and eye examination Mammography. This research uses TLD-100 as a radiation measuring instrument. The data retrieval process has taken place in Parahita Laboratorium, Jakarta by collecting five of patients data to have Mammography radiology examination, the research is done by putting the TLD-100 in every side of thyroid organ and eye to know the value radiation dose which occurs in Mammography examination. Eksposi factors used in this study was 29 kV and 250 mA. The result of this research is obtained the value of the dose absorbed by the thyroid organ and less than the limit value of existing dose of 0,7 mSv, To analysts equivalent dose in patients who received organ Mammography is quite safe because less than the value standard dose limits specified.Key words : mammography, radiation dose, TLD

Abstract

This study aims to determine the design specifications set tool-making experiments to determine the kinetic coefficients and a coefficient of restitution of the collision of two objects using laser diode and sensor based LDR arduino uno. Results of the study is the design tool set of experiments could measure the kinetic coefficient between the glass material with glass with a relative error of 2.5%, wood with wood with a relative error of 1%, and steel materials with wood with a relative error of 0.5%. The coefficient of restitution is obtained for glass with glass material is 0.062, wood with wood is 0:49, and steel materials with wood is 0:22.Key words: kinestetic cooficient, restitution, sensor, laser dioda, LDR, arduino uno

Abstract

The use of high dose levels in CT Scan Brain produce distribution scattered radiation originating from the patient. This study was conducted to determine the distribution of scattered radiation at a particular point on the CT scan to obtain the curve isodose. Using Experimental Methods researchers conducted measurements of the distribution of the scattering radiation at 128 Slice CT Scan of the Brain CT examination. Thermoluminescent dosimeter (TLD) is used to measure the distribution of scattered radiation and use as a phantom object head. Eksposi parameters used are Brain CT program. Take 19 points to be measured. Using a point distance of 1, 2 meters, 3 meters from the gantry CT Scan. The results showed a minimum value of the distribution of the scattering radiation at the measurement point at a distance of 1 meter, 2 meters. 3 meters is at point A is the right side of the gantry and a maximum distribution at point C which is the examination table.Key words: CT Scan, distribution of scattered radiation, isodose curves

Abstract

This research studies the stuctural interaction between variables that become characteristics or factors affecting durability for students to continue their studies. In this study, the data used are the characteristics of students in the form of data counting and categories so that statistical methods used was CHAID analysis. Dendogram CHAID showed that the variables having strongest association with the durability for students to continue their studies is the mark of Calculus I subject. CHAID method to the analysis of durability for students to continue their studies produced three segments. The first segment is the students who retook the Calculus I subject, the second one is the students who passed or failed in Calculus I subject with semester 1 GPA < 3.00 and the last is the students who passed or failed in Calculus I subject with semester 1 GPA > 3.00. Abstract

Students are one of the elements involved in the learning process. Student success can not be separated from learning, to improve learning outcomes necessary motivation in learning. Motivation is influenced by multiple factors originating from within is called intrinsic motivation, and students who come from outside the student called extrinsic motivation. The purpose of this research is to know the difference RSBI student motivation to learn biology in junior high school students and regular first Pariaman. Type of research is a descriptive. The population in this research is RSBI students and regular students in junior high school first Pariaman numbering 120 persons. In this study sampling was not done, the entire sampled population. The variables in this research that students' motivation to learn biology RSBI and regular students in junior high school one school year 2009/2010 Pariaman. Data collected by using questionnaire and then analyzed using descriptive analysis of the percentage. Results showed that students' intrinsic motivation to learn in RSBI students higher than regular students. Conversely, the student extrinsic motivation to learn biology in regular students is better than RSBI students. RSBI students' intrinsic motivation in learning biology, including the criteria very well.Key words: Motivation, intrinsic, extrinsic, RSBI

Abstract

This study aims to improve the cognitive competence of students majoring in biology University of Padang in the course of evolution melalaui use metacognition-based textbook evolution. This research is a class act that is performed in 2 cycles. Subjects in this study were students of biology education courses that take the course of evolution in the second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year. Research instrument used in the form of a booklet role in testing the cognitive competencies. From this research it is known that metacognition-based textbooks can improve cognitive competencies of students, the first cycle of the average cognitive competencies 75.46 with the percentage of achievement criteria of completeness 59.37% increase in cycle 2 with an average of 77.72 with cognitive competencies percentage achieved 81.25% completeness criteria. It can be concluded that through the use of metacognition-based textbook evolution can improve cognitive competence of students.Key words; Compettence, conitive, metaconitive

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship of learning styles to student learning outcomes in learning biology. The strength of the relationship can be seen in the interpretation of the correlation table. This research is ex post facto with research subjects are students of class X SMAN 2 Sungaitarab the 2015/2016 academic year are 71 people with the sampling technique used was random sampling with an error rate of 5%. Data collection method for variable learning style is by questionnaire, while studying biology outcome variables using vocational school documentation data analysis technique used is the product moment correlation with the level of significance of the analysis results is set at 5%. The results showed that there are no significant and positive relationship between learning styles to student learning outcomes in learning biology, this is evidenced by rhitung (0.089) <rtabel (0, 235), the Ha Ho is rejected and accepted. Based on the results of the study showed no significant positive relationship between the three variables of learning styles to student learning outcomes in the subjects of biology, it is thus test this hypothesis does not support the research.Key words: learning styles, learning outcomes, biology
