Abstract

In this work, viscosity experiment system based on personal computer and microcontroller MCS-51 has been developed. The new model of viscosity experiment system is purposed to perfom the time and viscosity calculation automatically on the personal computer. The graph and statical analysis are used to determine characteristics of LDR sensor and experiment system such as sensitivity, accuracy, and precision. There were four main results of this research as follow : 1). LDR sensor resistance decreased with increasing light intensity and sensitivity of sensor was  -11,55.(I)-1,56, 2). The comparator output voltage are two condition depend on light intensity, below 400 lux the output voltage is 4.54 Volt and for above is 0.59 Volt, 3). The accuracy and precision average of system timer was high, each of it was 99.9% and 0.97, 4). Ability of system to determine the value of the liquids viscosity has been tested and obtained three results for glycerin, SAE40 Oil, and cooking oil which the value of each sequence are 1121.99 mPas, 795.08 mPas and 79.78 mPas. Based on repeated measurement in viscosity, the precision of system have been obtained which average 0.994.    Key words: viscosity, personal computer, microcontroller, sensitivity, accuracy, precesion

Abstract

The study on molecule m2N2 (m=H, Li, Na, Be, Mg, B, Al, C, Si, N, P, O, S, F, Cl) with symmetrical groups D~h and D2h had been conducted by using Ab Initio method. As a part of HyperChem pro 6.0, this program was operated with Pentium 4. The research involved a number of linear cyclic molecules m-N-N-m as well as m-N-m-N. As the result of the computation process, it was found that generally the cyclic molecules m2N2 were more stable than those of the other linear molecules signed with the smaller total energy. It was also found that the most stable linear molecules were NºN resulted from the optimalization of Cl-N-N-Cl with the total molecule energy: -637778.1251 kcal/mol. Meanwhile, the most stable cyclic molecules were S-N-S-N with the total molecule energy: -560789.9726 kcal/mol. Key words: cyclic molecule, ab initio

Abstract

This paper explains the design of angular velocity apparatus (Gyrometer) base on fluxgate sensor. The design of sensor elements consists of the double secondary coil (pick-up) and excitation coil with 10 layers, core layer is put into the isolative cavity. Fluxgate magnetic sensor works based on the principles of second harmonics, the intensity of magnetic fields proportional to the output sensor voltage. Based on data analysis on to sensor characterization it was obtained that the sensitivity 4.52 mV/?T, ±20 ?T in ranges.  The maximum absolute error obtained from polynomial function approach in 0.53 ?T and the relative error is 1.3% on magnetic fields ~19 ?T. In this research the sensor can measure the frequency in the maximum absolute and relative  error 0.68, 0.58, 0.17, 0.71 and 0.026%, 0.022%, 0.006%, 0.021%, whereas the disc magnet with the number of magnet 2, 4, 8 and 16 respectively.Key words: angular velocity, fluxgate sensor, coil, second harmonic

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the concentration of semi-solid electrolyte/polymer gel and determine the effect of the dye absorption technique on TiO2 paste the resulting DSSC efficiency. The results obtained by XRD characterization of TiO2 crystal phase is anatase and rutile TiO2 with a crystal size of 30.27 nm. Based of testing the light absorption of dye extract of purple sweet potato is known that the spectrum of the dye can absorb light at 533 nm wavelength maximum. The result of the conversion of sunlight into electrical energy obtained the highest value is at the highest PEG concentration at 0.1 M is 0,38% for TiO2 paste is mixed directly with the dye and 0,23% for TiO2 paste soaking in the dye for 24 hours using an electrolyte semi-solid/gel polymer with an area of 1 cm2.Key words: anthocyanin, DSSC, semi-solid electrolyte, FTIR, UV-Vis, XRD

Abstract

This study aimed to see whether there are differences in the profile line image and the linear attenuation coefficient in the urine baby boys and baby girls who drink only breast milk alone and additional milk with computed radiography, and relation to differences in impurity law. The study was conducted in the x-ray radiology Hospital National Stroke Bukittinggi. The study sample consisted of urine male and female babies who drink only breast milk and urine only baby girls and boys who drank ation and additional milk. CR image retrieval is performed three days (22, 25 and 26 September 2014) with a voltage variation of 50 and 60 kV and 100 mA using a strong current and exposure time of 5 ms. The image was analyzed visually, and physical image quality. The results showed that visual image acquisition of the third day and with two different voltage variations indicate that there are differences in the brightness, contrast and sharpness of the image. Analysis of image quality (based grafi line profile image) shows the pattern of the same line profile image on the third day of taking images at a voltage of 60 kV. Physical Analysis of the image showed that the urine samples tested had a pattern of linear attenuation coefficient value equal to the voltage of 60 kV on three different days. Linear attenuation coefficient values greatest U1 and U3 linear attenuation coefficient on the third day of the smallest image retrieval. The big difference in the value of the significant linear attenuation coefficient between U1 and U3 sample is related to differences in the urine purification unclean baby boys and baby girls.Key words: baby boy urine, urine baby girl, computed radiography, law unclean in Islam

Abstract

The effects of black tea extract on mice fertility was studied in twenty four (n=24) sexually  matured male mice. Mices were randomly divide into four (4) groups of six (6) mices per group. The experimental groups ware treated as follows: Group I treated with no received treatment, Group II with 1,25 %, Group III with 2,5 %, and Group IV with 5 % black tea extract. The extract was orally administered 1 ml/100 g body weigh for 35 days. The epididymis weight, sperm count, motility, viability and normal sperm morphology changes  were determined. The epididymis weight, sperm count, motility, viability and normal sperm were decreased. Treatment with highest dose 5 % of the extract resulted in a significant decreased when compared to the control. Result showed that black tea extract has potential for use as antifertility for animal in future.Key words: black tea extract, mice fertility

Abstract

This study to determine the effect of submaximal exercise on muscle tissue and endothelial damage in athletes indicated by increased levels of IL-6 plasma in the students of The Education Center and Sport Training Student West Sumatera. This study was experimental pre and post-test group design to 17 students sport of football in PPLP West Sumatera. IL-6 before and after exercise submaximal examined was method by ELISA. Statical analysis was bypaired samples t-test and the results obtained statistically significant when p <0,05. The results showed the mean levels IL-6 before the submaximal exercise 4,2±2,8 pg/ml and 7,2±3,6 pg/ml after exercise. The increase levels of IL-6 statistically highly significant p<0,001.Key words : IL-6, submaximal exercise
