Abstract

The older the earth, the more problems that occur on earth, one of which is global warming. We can fix all of that in various ways, one of which is through the Adiwiyata program. The learning process is realized through the school curriculum that leads to efforts to build the character and behavior of teachers and students who care about the environment. The use of e-learning is expected to improve the quality of learning and the independence of students, and the interaction between educators and students. So the researchers decided to conduct research on the Development of the Adiwiyata Curriculum Prototype Based on E-Learning at SMAN 4 South Tangerang. This research is a research and development (RnD) research. Sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of this study are a prototype of the Adiwiyata Curriculum based on E-Learning in the form of an android application. This application is called Go Green School which includes 4 programs, namely Care for Waste From Home, Reduce-Reuse-Recycle Online, Planting Trees From Home, and Changing Clothes and Thrifting Online, which can be used as guidelines in implementing Adiwiyata training programs at State Senior High Schools. 4 South Tangerang.

Abstract

Adobe Flash is a comprehensive animation creation program that makes it easy for developers to create animations. Animation is a series of accurately processed images that directly produce memorable movements with sound and store a learning message. This study aims to develop learning media using Adobe Flash in automotive electrical courses. Based on the results of a survey of learning media needs analysis to students of Mechanical Engineering Education, State University of Jakarta whose data was collected using Google Form, 80% of respondents answered that the media most often used in Automotive Electrical courses was Power Point. 93.3% of respondents answered the need to develop android application-based learning media for Automotive Electrical courses. Research and Development research methods and ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) are used in this study. Place of research at the State University of Jakarta for students who have completed and are taking Automotive Electrical courses. The method of data collection is a questionnaire to test the feasibility of the media. Based on the eligibility criteria by Arikunto, the validation test by material experts stated that the learning media tested obtained the "very feasible" criteria with a percentage value of 85.33%. Furthermore, the validation test by media experts stated that the learning media tested obtained the "very feasible" criteria with a percentage value of 81.33%. And the results of small group trials to 7 students get a percentage of 90.28% which is in the "very feasible" interval. While the results of field trials to 20 students get a percentage of 90.4% which is in the "very feasible" interval. Based on the data above, it can be concluded that the media developed is very feasible and can be used in learning.

Abstract

This  research aims to develop Engineering drawing learning media for students based on Android using Adobe Flash Professional CS6 software. The development method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model, The stages are: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The method used in data collection is using a questionnaire. In the material validation trial, the learning media got a percentage score of 80% and was included in the "Valid" category. Furthermore, in the media validation trial, the learning media got a percentage score of 70.67% and was included in the "Valid" category. Then the results of small group trials involving 5 students got a percentage score of 92.53% and were included in the "Very Practical" category. While the results of field trials involving 20 students got a percentage score of 91.40% and were included in the "Very Practical" category. Based on these data, thus the android-based engineering drawing learning media is valid and feasible to be used as a learning media for mechanical engineering education students.

Abstract

Learning media has a very important role in teaching and learning activities. Learning media is a medium to convey knowledge to students. In the current era of the COVID-19 pandemic, learning media must be able to make students obtain optimal learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to produce learning media in NC machining courses and to determine the feasibility of learning media in NC machining courses. This study uses the Research and Development method with the main subject being students of the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Jakarta State University who take NC machining courses. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire in the form of a google form. The results showed that the percentage score obtained from material experts was 78.6% and the percentage score obtained from media experts was 72%. These results also show that the media and materials used in the application of NC learning media are said to be valid. In addition, in the small group trial the score obtained was 91.73%. The score also indicates that the application has been felt practical. Likewise in the field trial, where the score obtained is 84.20% or it can be interpreted that the application has been felt practical by the majority of users. So, based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of multimedia-based NC learning media is feasible to use.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative type of research conducted using literature study method. The purpose of this research is to describe the role of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) based teaching materials on the mathematics learning of junior high school students. In this research, articles were used as literature which were obtained through the search using relevant key words and through screening process using certain criteria until finally obtained 10 articles, with details of 7 articles from nationally accredited journal Sinta and 3 articles from international journal accredited Scopus, where all the articles discuss about Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) based teaching materials and the influence of their use (effectiveness of their use on mathematical learning) received by students. Those articles were then analysed using content analysis technique. Based on this study, it was obtained that Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) based teaching materials play role in terms of spatial ability, problem solving, reasoning, creative thinking, mathematical communication, mathematical literacy, mathematical representation, as well as motivation, self-efficacy, and learning independence of junior high school students. Authors recommend that the further research regarding the similar topic should be done for other education level, such as elementary school or senior high school.

Abstract

Mount Gede Pangrango National Park (TNGGP) is a nature reserve area divided into seven zoning areas located in West Java province. In this location, there is a place that is lush and humid, so that this location can be a good habitat for herpetofauna, especially the anura group. The purpose of this research was to identify and determine the morphology and morphometric of amphibians in the order Anura. It is hoped that this information can be used to help inventory and improve its conservation. The research method used was descriptive explorative and Visual Encounter Surveys (VES). The research results obtained three species of frogs from the order Anura, namely Megophrys montana, Hylarana chalconota, and Limnonectes microdiscus. These species of frogs have morphology and morphometric that indicate these species have entered their juvenile or adult period. In the three species of frogs found, two species of frogs entered adult phase and one species of frog in juvenile phase.

Abstract

Mesin injection molding yang dirancang pada penelitian ini dilengkapi dengan bentuk yang minimalis sehingga dapat mendukung industri kecil dalam pengolahan limbah plastik menjadi produk bernilai guna. Material yang digunakan dalam pemrosesan plastik pada umumnya ialah jenis polimer yang sulit teruraikan sehingga digunakan jenis biopolimer Poly Lactic-Acid (PLA) pada penelitian ini dimana dapat mudah terurai oleh lingkungan. Limbah bubuk kopi yang dapat mencemarkan lingkungan kemudian dilakukan inovasi dengan dicampur PLA yang diaplikasikan menjadi particulate composite. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat merancang mesin injection molding dan pengaruh temperatur injeksi mesin terhadap hasil produk particulate composite dari PLA dan limbah bubuk kopi. Penelitian ini dimulai dengan penentuan dimensi elemen injeksi yaitu pada plunger dengan diameter 3,5 cm dan panjang 12 cm. Barrel dengan diameter dalam 3,5 cm dan tebal 3 mm dan nozzle dengan diameter keluaran 5 mm. Dilakukan simulasi dengan memperoleh tegangan yang terjadi pada pelat dudukan elemen injeksi sebesar 210 N/mm2 dan faktor keamanan yang diperoleh sebesar 12. Gaya minimal yang dibutuhkan untuk menginjeksikan material yang dilelehkan ialah sebesar 10 N. Dalam penelitian ini didapatkan hasil yang terbaik pada kondisi temperatur injeksi 170 ºC dengan hasil cacat produk yang paling rendah

Abstract

This study aims to describe the types of language impoliteness strategies in the discourse of religious texts, especially Islam. A pragmatic approach is used in this study. The data of this research are in the form of words, phrases, clauses, or sentences that contain impoliteness. The research data sources come from three discourses of Islamic religious texts taken from Youtube in 2020. The data collection method used is the download method. The research data were analyzed using contextual analysis methods. The results showed that there were four types of language impoliteness strategies found in three religious text discourses, namely (i) direct impoliteness strategies, (ii) positive impoliteness strategies, (iii) negative impoliteness strategies, and (iv) pseudo politeness strategies or sarcasm. The type of impoliteness strategy that is most commonly found in the discourse of religious speech texts is a negative impoliteness strategy with the most widely applied sub strategi is degrading sub strategi. The pseudo-politeness strategy or sarcasm is the least used strategy. The imbalance of power or social power between speech participants is the dominant factor in influencing the emergence of language impoliteness in the discourse of religious texts.

Abstract

Language is a medium that children can use to acquire cultural values, morality, religion and other community values. After children acquire the language consciously or not, children will understand the meaning of the language said and done. This study aims to determine the understanding of the language of 1st grade elementary school students and what factors affect their understanding of the meaning of language in terms of psycholinguistic studies. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative research. Researchers made observations on the object of research, namely the students and teachers of SD Class 1 during the interaction in the online class. To get more in-depth information regarding the understanding of different students, the researcher distributed questionnaires to the teachers. The results showed that the students interpreted the decoding of the message conveyed by the teacher, the students did it with the meaning of the words that they had understood based on their experience, knowledge, needs, and abilities. Understanding the meaning of language in different children is caused by environmental factors, facilities or facilities, and teacher factors. This study has limitations in data collection which is only limited to speech that occurs in online classes.
