Abstract

This research aims to analyze the learning of professional ethics. Professional ethics is very important for students to shape their character, improve their work readiness, build a positive reputation, and develop professional networks. By understanding and applying ethics from an early age, students will not only succeed in their studies but will also be prepared to face challenges in the professional world responsibly and with integrity. Data was collected thru Google Forms and analysis of course syllabi from various study programs at the university. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a survey of 190 students from D3, S1 Management, and S1 Accounting departments who have taken the Professional Ethics course. The research results show a significant positive correlation between understanding the material of Professional Ethics and the improvement of students' ethical behavior and soft skills.This research provides recommendations for improving the effectiveness of the professional ethics course, including the use of case-based learning methods, the integration of technology in ethics teaching, and closer collaboration with industry practitioners.

Abstract

Educators hold a vital position in molding the personalities of learners by fostering an understanding of the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) principles within the educational environment. Instructors are not just providers of knowledge, but also serve as examples and guides in cultivating ethical principles, societal behaviors, and a feeling of national identity. Nevertheless, initial assessments at SMP Negeri 5 Tarogong Kidul indicate the presence of student actions that do not completely embody P5 ideals, such as limited self-reliance in learning, inconsistent engagement in dialogues, insufficient regard for differing viewpoints, and minimal attention to societal matters. This research endeavors to examine the function of social science instructors in developing student character that aligns with the Pancasila Student Profile at SMP Negeri 5 Tarogong Kidul, Garut. A qualitative research design with a descriptive technique is utilized for this study. Participants in the research comprise social science educators, students in the eighth grade, the Vice Principal for Academic Affairs, and the Vice Principal for Student Affairs, all chosen via purposive sampling. Information was gathered through observation, Interviews, and records, and subsequently examined utilizing the Miles and Huberman interactive framework. The findings revealed that social science educators functioned as enablers, representations, and strengtheners of character qualities through incorporating P5 values into social science instruction. The methods employed encompassed collaborative conversations, learning via projects, and the practice of P5 principles, even though difficulties remained in their execution. Consequently, cooperation among every individual within the educational setting is essential to encourage the ongoing enhancement of the Pancasila Student Profile characteristics. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model assisted by Canva on increasing students' creativity in making posters in the Pancasila Education subject at SMAN 11 Garut. The study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design of the non-equivalent control group design. The study population was all students of grade XI, while the sample was determined through purposive sampling, namely class XI.10 as the experimental class and XI.4 as the control class with a total of 40 students each. The experimental class received PjBL learning assisted by Canva, while the control class used PjBL manually. Creativity data were collected through a creativity questionnaire and poster project assessment using a rubric. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, normality tests, paired sample t-tests, independent sample t-tests, and N-Gain calculations. The results showed that the average creativity of the experimental class increased from 66.23% to 80.62%, a 14.39% increase, while the control class only increased from 67.21% to 73.83%, a 6.62% increase. The average poster project score of the experimental class (91.09; highly creative category) was higher than that of the control class (77.66; creative category). Statistical tests and N-Gain showed that Canva-assisted PjBL was more effective than manual PjBL in enhancing student creativity. Therefore, the Canva-assisted PjBL model is worthy of recommendation as an alternative learning strategy for creative project-based Pancasila Education in high schools.

Abstract

Character education is an essential aspect of the educational process because schools are not only responsible for transferring knowledge but also for shaping students’ attitudes, values, and behavior. This study aims to analyze the role of the school environment in shaping students’ character at SMP IT ISP Karawang and to identify the school environmental factors that significantly contribute to character formation. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects included students, teachers, and the principal of SMP IT ISP Karawang. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, while data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that the school environment plays an important role in shaping students’ character through teacher role models, school discipline culture, religious habituation, positive social relationships among students, and extracurricular activities. These factors support the development of religious values, discipline, responsibility, social care, cooperation, tolerance, and empathy. The study also found that character formation at SMP IT ISP Karawang is strengthened through daily habituation, consistent supervision, moral guidance, and the integration of Islamic values into school activities. However, student discipline remains a challenge that requires continuous reinforcement. This study implies that a conducive, religious, and disciplined school environment can become an effective medium for strengthening students’ character.

Abstract

Krisis karakter dan degradasi moral di kalangan siswa menjadi tantangan serius dalam dunia pendidikan saat ini, sehingga diperlukan upaya sistematis untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai luhur bangsa sejak dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses internalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila berbasis spiritualitas dalam upaya penguatan karakter dan moral siswa di SMP 2 Pakis Magelang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa, serta studi dokumentasi terhadap program-program sekolah yang relevan. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dengan triangulasi sumber untuk menjamin keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa internalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila berbasis spiritualitas di SMP 2 Pakis Magelang dilakukan melalui integrasi kegiatan keagamaan, pembiasaan rutin, keteladanan guru, serta pembelajaran kontekstual yang menghubungkan nilai-nilai Pancasila dengan dimensi spiritual siswa. Pendekatan ini terbukti efektif dalam membentuk kesadaran moral, sikap toleransi, kedisiplinan, serta tanggung jawab sosial siswa. Namun, ditemukan pula sejumlah tantangan, seperti konsistensi pelaksanaan program, keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran, dan kebutuhan penguatan kompetensi guru dalam mengintegrasikan nilai spiritual dan kebangsaan secara seimbang. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya penguatan kebijakan sekolah yang mendukung pembiasaan nilai Pancasila berbasis spiritualitas secara berkelanjutan serta kolaborasi antara sekolah, keluarga, dan masyarakat dalam membangun karakter siswa yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai kebangsaan dan keagamaan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan bagaimana pendidikan Pancasila siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Karawang ditingkatkan melalui penggunaan platform pembelajaran Quizizz. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik penelitian deskriptif dan mengambil pendekatan kualitatif. Siswa dan instruktur dari program pendidikan Pancasila SMK Negeri 2 Karawang berperan sebagai partisipan dalam penelitian ini. Observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini. Mengumpulkan data, memilih data, menyajikannya, dan menarik kesimpulan adalah langkah-langkah dalam proses analisis data. Temuan penelitian ini menggambarkan bagaimana mata kuliah Pendidikan Pancasila memanfaatkan media pembelajaran Quizizz, yang sebelumnya kurang dimanfaatkan, berkat perencanaan yang matang dan umpan balik positif dari siswa. Ketidakmampuan siswa untuk memahami media Quizizz, koneksi internet yang tidak lancar, dan gadget yang tidak mampu menghambat peluncurannya. Kemampuan siswa untuk berpikir kritis ditingkatkan melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran Quizizz, yang pada gilirannya mengarah pada hasil belajar yang lebih baik. Hal ini khususnya berlaku dalam mata kuliah Pendidikan Pancasila.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh game online terhadap tingkat motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di SMKN 2 Karawang. Perkembangan teknologi informasi, khususnya internet, telah memunculkan fenomena game online yang digemari remaja. Namun penggunaan yang berlebihan dapat memberikan dampak buruk terhadap motivasi serta capaian akademik siswa. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan ialah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan partisipan penelitian terdiri atas wakil kepala bidang kurikulum, guru Pendidikan Pancasila, serta delapan siswa di SMKN 2 Karawang yang mengalami kecanduan game online. Proses pengumpulan data melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi, yang selanjutnya dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian informasi, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan game online berdampak secara dualistik, yaitu membawa pengaruh negatif maupun positif. Dampak negatif meliputi pengurangan waktu belajar, penurunan konsentrasi, kecenderungan menunda tugas, dan kurangnya minat pada materi pendidikan Pancasila. Sementara itu, dampak positifnya adalah pengembangan keterampilan kognitif (pemecahan masalah, pengambilan Keputusan) dari game edukatif serta kemampuan mengatur waktu bagi Sebagian kecil siswa. Peneliti juga mengidentifikasi Upaya sekolah dan guru dalam mengatasi dmapak negatif game online. Sekolah menyediakan fasilitas dan kegiatan alternatif, mengadakan sosialisasi dan edukasi, serta menerapkan pengawasan dan aturan penggunaan gawai. Guru mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran inovatif, mengaitkan materi dengan kehidupan nyata, membina karakter dan disiplin, berkomunikasi dengan orang tua, serta menjadi contoh positif. Kesimpulan dari studi ini menunjukkan bahwa meski keberadaan game online menimbulkan tantangan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, sinergi antara sekolah, tenaga pendidik, dan orang tua memiliki peranan penting dalam upaya menjaga serta mendorong motivasi belajar, khususnya dalam konteks pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the Scouting extracurricular activity in developing civic skills in students at SMP IT ISP Karawang. The study used a descriptive qualitative method involving six subjects: the Vice Principal for Student Affairs, the Scouting extracurricular instructor, and three Scouting extracurricular members. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the Scouting extracurricular activity has a strategic role in developing students' civic skills, including the ability to actively participate in social activities, effective communication skills, leadership, teamwork, discipline, and problem-solving. Routine, structured scouting activities based on the Dasa Dharma principles serve as a practical means of learning civic values. The instructor plays an important role in providing guidance, motivation, and role models that encourage active student involvement. School support and student enthusiasm also strengthen the achievement of these civic skills. These findings confirm that Scouting extracurricular activities not only support character development, but also serve as an effective vehicle for strengthening citizenship education in schools, particularly in the aspects of participatory skills and social responsibility.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of literacy habituation in improving students' civic skills at SMK Pratama Mulya Karawang. The approach used was descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. The results indicate that literacy habituation through morning reading activities, journal writing, thematic discussions, and the production of a school bulletin contributed positively to the development of critical thinking skills, the courage to express opinions, and active participation in social activities and school organizations. These findings reinforce the view that literacy, systematically cultivated in the educational environment, can be a strategic instrument in developing students' civic skills.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the Daarul Hasanah Orphanage in strengthening children's independent learning character, identifying the obstacles faced, and finding solutions implemented by the orphanage to address these obstacles. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the Daarul Hasanah Orphanage plays an important role in shaping children's independent learning through routine learning habits, mentoring by administrators and foster parents, and creating a conducive learning environment. The obstacles faced include limited human resources for mentors, the diversity of backgrounds of foster children, and limited infrastructure. To overcome these obstacles, the orphanage collaborates with volunteers, implements a reward-based motivation system, improves facilities with donor support, and provides counseling services for children in need. These findings confirm that fostering children's independent learning character can be carried out effectively in non-formal social institutions through a combination of habits, motivation, and a supportive environment. This study is expected to provide theoretical contributions in the development of character education, as well as practical contributions for orphanages and related parties in designing strategies to strengthen children's independent learning in a sustainable manner.
