Abstract

The implementation of Mudharabah for chicken farming businesses in Sharia Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes Syariah) faces quite big challenges related to understanding concepts and business risk management. The aim is to identify the benefits and challenges of implementing Mudarabah. The method used was a case study approach involving five administrators as informants using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results show that although the implementation of Mudharabah profit sharing has had a positive impact on increasing capital and chicken farming business performance, there are several obstacles such as a lack of understanding of the Mudharabah concept and weak risk management. So intensive training and assistance is needed from sharia financial institutions regarding the proper implementation of Mudharabah. This research has implications for the development of Islamic economic theory and provides practical guidance for managers in optimizing the implementation of Mudharabah. This research underlines the need for more in-depth education and training as well as government policy support for the successful implementation of Mudharabah in the livestock sector and other small and medium enterprises.

This study aims to evaluate the level of consumerism among the younger generation. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation of FEBI IAIN Kerinci students. Abstract

Islamic banking assets in Indonesia remain significantly behind conventional banking. In 2023, the assets of conventional banks reached over IDR 11,000 trillion, while Islamic banks accounted for only around IDR 580 trillion. This considerable asset gap motivates further investigation into the roles of both banking systems in economic development. This study aims to examine the influence of conventional banking on economic growth, the impact of Islamic banking on economic growth, and whether Islamic banking moderates the relationship between conventional banking and economic growth. The research employs the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method, using annual secondary data from 2007 to 2023. The findings reveal that conventional banking significantly influences economic growth, while Islamic banking does not have a significant effect. Moreover, Islamic banking does not moderate the relationship between conventional banking and economic growth. These results highlight the need to strengthen the role of Islamic banking to enhance its contribution to national economic development.

Abstract

Generation Z, born between 1997 and 2012, is recognized as a tech-savvy cohort that prefers digital payment methods over cash. This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived ease of use, perceived security, and service quality on the financial inclusion of Generation Z using QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) as a digital payment method. A quantitative research approach was employed, with data collected through Google Forms questionnaires distributed to Generation Z individuals visiting coffee shops in Bandar Lampung. The sampling technique followed Lemeshow’s method, with 100 respondents, and variables were measured using a Likert scale. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 3. The results indicate that perceived ease of use and perceived security of QRIS significantly influence Generation Z’s financial inclusion. However, coffee shop service quality does not have a significant effect. These findings provide practical implications for strategies to enhance QRIS adoption in supporting financial inclusion while offering insights from an Islamic economics perspective in the context of digital payments
