Prosiding National Conference for Community Service Project (NaCosPro) merupakan wadah bagi para akademisi maupun masyarakat umum dalam mendesiminasikan artikel ilmiah hasil-hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di berbagai bidang pengabdian, terutama kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang melibatkan juga pihak swasta/business, pemerintah dan community (masyarakat) dalam rangka menyelesaikan permasalahan di masyarakat menuju terwujudnya kesejahteraan dan pemerataan pembangunan di masyarakat. Prosiding ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam menumbuhkan ide-ide inovatif dan kreatif dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan langsung di masyarakat sehingga akan melahirkan pemikiran dan gagasan bagi peningkatan tri dharma perguruan tinggi untuk masyarakat.

Abstract

The Coronavirus that has attacked Indonesia since last March affected the high needs for medicine, as an effort to increase immunities. On the other hand, the significant decline of economic conditions economically led to a lower purchasing power, compounded by increasing the price of goods in the market. One of the areas affected by COVID 19 in Batam is RT 004 Kelurahan Belian, where several residents had been infected with this virus. This community service activity aims to increase the community's knowledge of RT 004 Kelurahan Belian about cultivating pharmacy plants, thus they able to produce their own medicines by cultivating medicinal plants around their home environment. This activity is carried out in three stages, namely gathering initial information about medicinal plants, making video and poster campaigns, and ended by distributing and socializing through social media pages. Based on the results of extracting information, pharmacy plants that can be used as medicine and easy to grow are ginger, turmeric, lemongrass, cinnamon, aloe vera, and betel leaf. The videos and posters that are compiled contain the benefits of each plant's easy way to plant them. Furthermore, socialization is carried out online through social media so that the community, especially partners, can take advantage of this activity.

Abstract

Kampung Pelangi is one of the tourist villages that are in Tanjung Uma, Batam. The creation of Kampung Pelangi that is filled with colors begins with a simple idea, but as time goes by, this idea that was just an idea has become a reality that is pioneered by one of the members of Baitul Maal was Tamwil (BMT) Seri Pelangi Kepri. The problem that we found from our research is the place that is used as a tourism spot has a lot of garbage around it, and because of that, it reduce the beauty of the tourism spot itself. The purpose of this research is to make garbage bins around the area of the tourism spot and educate the public so that Kampung Pelangi can be more beautiful and comfortable in the eyes of local residents as well as foreigners. The method that we use in this research is a qualitative study design with observational descriptive. Then there are also assessment techniques that are carried out by field survey, group discussion that involves participants, open interview, and literature study. The result from our research proves that the activities that we do together in the area produced a very satisfying result, because of the teamwork and helping each other.

Abstract

Racism has always been something we have fought against as a trigger for the division. We live in an area with a variety of ethnicities, races, cultures, and skin colors. In Batam City, there are still many minorities who are affected by racism, especially students. There are many problems that arise as a result of racism, which is more specifically discussed about skin color. So far, skin color has become very controversial because white people feel superior to black people so that social inequality and discrimination are very visible. The method used is the concept of design thinking by making videos and distributing them to students affected by racism. The results obtained from the respondents show that through design thinking, this video provides educational value to students to value and respect diversity. So that there is no difference between whites and blacks because we have the same language, namely Indonesian.

Abstract

The Stimulus Community Partnership Program aims to empower women, street children and people with disabilities. Empowering women, especially women detainees at Batam City Baloi Detention Center, single-parent women who are not able to, and empowering street children who are members of the Cinderella Batam Learning Center. This community service stimulus uses the literature study method using qualitative and descriptive analysis, and the andragogy method. Andragogy method is a method that emphasizes and implements Participatory Action Programs from participants through training, discussion, group work, and field demonstrations in all activities. The implementation of this stimulus community partnership program with assistance, empowerment, and training improves the quality of doll making and online marketing. The products in the form of Cinderella dolls are donated to cancer patients, with disabilities starting in Indonesia, ASEAN countries, and several European countries. After the implementation of the Stimulus Community Partnership Program, results were obtained in the form of improving the quality of making Cinderella dolls and increasing the income of the Cinderella Shelter House and Learning House from online marketing.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, it is very rare to find people who live in harmony with the diversity that surrounds them. As we know, developments in the current era of globalization have not been spread evenly and have not been done well. There are some people who might still not be able to understand the diversity and reversal that we must unite so that Indonesia is not divided as our motto, "Unity in Diversity" which means different but still one. Therefore, we were sent to carry out community service activities with the theme of uniting Indonesia's diversity in the era of globalization. This activity is intended to unify the diversity that exists in Indonesia with top priority in the city of Batam. This activity will motivate the community or residents of the orphanage so that in the future they will have a more peaceful life in getting along with the whole community.

Abstract

Kesadaran masyarakat kebersihan Patam Lestari masih sangat kurang dimana kita dapat melihat sampah-sampah berserakan di jalan. Untuk mendukung kesadaran mereka terhadap kebersihan Patam Lestari maka peneulis melakukan sebuah program yaitu pengelolahan sampah menjadi kresi yang berguna yang akan dilaksanakan diDesa sekupang,Kecamatan patam lestari, Kabupaten bata, Kepulauan Riau.. program tersebut merupakan suatu model yang bersifat kompeherensif, intens, terperinci dan mendalam serta lebih diarahkan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masayarkat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara Observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampel yang sangat bertujuan. Maksud dari peneliti menggunakan teknik tersebut adalah sampel yang ditarik tersebut dengan maksud dan tujuan penelitian. Dalam penelitian ini yang diambil adalah dari pihak Masyarakat Kelompok Pengelola Sampah patam lestari, Pemerintah Desa patam lestari serta dari Partisipan. Hasil penelitian ini dinyatakan bahwa partisipasi masyarakat dalam melakukan pengelolaan sampah sudah mulai pada tahapan yang tinggi, yaitu banyaknyamasyarakat terlibat dalam melakukan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, serta evaluasi terhadapa sampah yang bertebaran di jalan raya. Partisipasi masyarakat dalam pelaksanaannya dengan melakukan pengelolaan sampah dengan cara memilah sampah dan mengelola sampah yang organic maupun non organik. Fungsi penulis disini yaitu sebagai pendamping untuk masyarakat untuk meningkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap sampah sertadapat menelaah sampah sampah yang ada di desa patam lestari, serta merupakan hasil dari program pengelolahan sampah sebagai penyedia dana dalam pelaksanaan program. sehingga terdapat keuntungan yang didapatkan oleh kedua belah pihak. sehingga dapat terwujudnya partisipasi masyarakat untuk merubah perilaku dalam pengelolaan sampah, serta linngkungan yang bersih dapat terwujud.

Abstract

Bullying merupakan salah satu masalah dunia yang memiliki dampak negatif bagi kehidupan maupun kondisi mental seseorang. Dalam perkembangan teknologi yang pesat ini tindakan bullying bukan hanya dilakukan secara verbal maupun non verbal tetapi sudah sampai menggunakan media elektronik yang dikenal sebagai cyberbullying. Artikel ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja faktor- faktor dan dampak yang akan ditimbulkan dari perilaku bullying. Penulis berharap dengan adanya program memberikan edukasi tentang bullying melalui media sosial kepada masyarakat terutama generasi muda mampu meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan bahayanya tindakan bullying. Penulis juga berharap dengan adanya edukasi bullying sejak dini mampu mengurangi tingkat kasus bullying yang terjadi terutama di Indonesia.

Abstract

The Objective of this activities are : (a) to train students to mingle with the society; (b) to show the importance of giving service to our society; (c) to introduce digital marketing to micro, small & medium enterprises (MSME) in order to increase market competitiveness. The research is conducted in Tiban Centre by interviewing 4 random foods & beverages business owners. The result shows that 3 out of 4 business owners are interested in digital marketing but due to low technology literacy, they don’t know how to conduct it. The digital marketing we are using is called Go-Food, which is one of the largest single-market food delivery app in Indonesia. By using this e-commerce feature, we believe that their business will grow faster and bigger in no time.

Abstract

Garbage is a part of human life. Garbage is an object/waste that is not used. Garbage should receive serious attention and handling. However, due to the lack of understanding of the community and the government, as well as the lack of cost and income of the majority of the community, this waste problem has become neglected. At present most of the people have learned about the adverse effects of waste, including causing floods, diseases, and odors that can interfere with life, but this is not balanced by the behavior of the community itself so the purpose of writing the article is as a form of community service by inviting the community in Kampung Melayu RW.02, Batu Besar Village, Nongsa District on how to deal with both organic and inorganic waste by providing trash bins, providing socialization and modules in socialization activities

Abstract

Racism is a type of discrimination against someone based on their race or it could be their ethnicity. Racism happens often because of the differences that we have between us, especially caused by physical appearance, since the race is also deeply related to physical appearance and also, in fact, based in Sociology, three main races in this world are divided into three, each characterized by their own skin color. The goal of this program is to educate society especially the young generations through Podcast media. The effect that we hope we can give with this program is the pluralism harmonization in the society of Indonesia, in the hope to materialize the third Pancasila precept which is the unity of Indonesia. With the unity in the society, Indonesia is a multicultural country that can focus to move forward together, just like the saying, united we stand, divided we fall.
