Prosiding National Conference for Community Service Project (NaCosPro) merupakan wadah bagi para akademisi maupun masyarakat umum dalam mendesiminasikan artikel ilmiah hasil-hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di berbagai bidang pengabdian, terutama kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang melibatkan juga pihak swasta/business, pemerintah dan community (masyarakat) dalam rangka menyelesaikan permasalahan di masyarakat menuju terwujudnya kesejahteraan dan pemerataan pembangunan di masyarakat. Prosiding ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam menumbuhkan ide-ide inovatif dan kreatif dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan langsung di masyarakat sehingga akan melahirkan pemikiran dan gagasan bagi peningkatan tri dharma perguruan tinggi untuk masyarakat.

Abstract

This devotion is intended to provide the solution for society on the coast especially mangrove forests. We intend to solve the problem without any troubles that could impact the ecosystem by giving insight into how important the empowerment of mangrove, hence the development of mangrove ecotourism could be established properly. As time passed, we realized that Kalembak is more focusing on their mangrove’s program. Therefore, this fact could lead to an overpopulation of mosquito. They did admit that when evening, the mosquito just flocks around them. We decided to give an alternative for their problem, which is handmade organic mosquito repellent. The methods are implemented using three-technique, which is preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Our product, which is made from organic materials such as brown sugar and yeast as a substitute of dangerous chemical products that could be found inside the typical mosquito repellent. The product is made from a mixture of brown sugar and yeast that could lead a fermentation, which will generate carbon dioxide that attracts the mosquitos. Hence lead to a fact that the more carbon dioxide around, the more mosquito around.

Abstract

Soil fertility is not only obtained from the fertility of the land or periodic watering, but there is also away. This is also done for the fertility of plants planted in the land. One way is to apply fertilizer to the soil. The fertilizer that will be discussed is compost from Tiban Lama. This compost is processed from organic community waste and animal dung which are collected into one and processed in a shelter (TPS 3R). The processing process is carried out for one month after being ground into small pieces (small like a dust size) and watered with liquid fertilizer. After being left for a month, the garbage will be filtered to be separated from other rubbish that sticks. Finally, the fertilizer will be packed in 5kg packages. For marketing, it is still in the stage of a friend to friend. However, in student assistance, it will be assisted in marketing through social media, websites, and Instagram. On the website, it contains information about compost fertilizer. As for Instagram, it is more about fertilizer promotion. The final goal to be achieved is with this marketing, sales will grow rapidly and economic progress in Tiban Lama itself.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service program is to equip and increase student interest in learning English and Mandarin through providing techniques and tips that make it easier for students to learn foreign languages at SMA Immanuel Batam. The method of implementation used is conducting webinars using the Zoom application and distributing E-Books as learning materials to make it easier for students to learn the two languages. This program is implemented for one semester and the results show that students who actively participate in activities are more motivated in learning foreign languages so that their competence increases.

Abstract

From the results of a survey of children we have done, the most vital issue of the topic of humanity in children is about access to education and equal opportunities to explore their potential. Therefore we agreed to Society Empowerment Program (SEPORA) project for neglected children by making a children's learning magazine that can be consumed at any time, of course, packaged with as attractive as possible. The children’s learning magazine called Nusantara, with the content about nationalism. Hopefully that they will be helped with literacy access and of course hopefully they will be motivated by the contents of the magazine.

Abstract

Tanjung Bamban is a village located in Batu Besar, kecamatan Nongsa, Batam City, Kepulauan Riau. At Tanjung Bemban there is a place where children learn something, but there is no library that can support their learning. The implementation method used in this program is a survey, observation, planning, and implementation. Making a small library is expected to have positive impacts on the children. Hopefully, in the future, the library that we build will become bigger so it can be more useful for the wider community.

Abstract

Usaha pengolahan latek pekat di Desa Muhajirin Kabupaten Muaro belum berkembang dengan baik, dua aspek yang mempengaruhi perkembangan usaha tersebut adalah : (1) aspek produksi/pengolahan dan, (2) manajemen usaha. Permasalahan aspek produksi berkaitan dengan lama waktu pengolahan latek, sedangkan aspek manajemen adalah terkait dengan belum adanya pembagian tugas masing-masing anggota dari bidang usaha yang dilakukan. Solusi yang ditawarkan dalam kegiatan ini berupa bantuan alat dan pelatihan usaha untuk mengembangkan usaha pengolahan lateks yang telah dimiliki oleh kelompok tani tersebut. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah berkaitan dengan pembenahan aspek produksi latek pekat melalui bantuan mesin sentrifugasi dan metrolac. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya bantuan tersebut masalah produksi pengolahan latek telah tertangani Masa produksi latek yang awalnya 2 minggu menjadi kurang dari satu jam dan adanya alat metrolac maka masalah pembelian karet dari masyarakat yang awalnya terkendala standar harga dapat dilakukan.

Abstract

The human need for food is increasing every day. During the Covid-19 pandemic, disruption of food production is an important matter that must be addressed immediately. One problem that is often faced by farmers as food producers in Indonesia is the problem of drought during the prolonged dry season so that it is threatened with crop failure. Farmers really need this generator modification training because it can reduce the operational costs of rice field irrigation. It is hoped that this service activity can provide new knowledge and help farmers overcome rice fields dryness by using a generator set with LPG fuel.

Abstract

Kalembak Village located strategically on the shore of the open ocean and has open access to City Center. Marine sources are their common survival method for living. Their fishers are actively growing the family income from fishing such as fish, shells, crabs, and etc. In order for them to get customers are varied. Some of them have the ability to get tied with customers and get them to come by phone to take the morning catch, but not few have to go the extra mile to get a penny from customers. Those who go around are depending on the lucky factors through their not advance facility. Armed with a small plastic bucket to carry the fishes placed in front of their motorcycle, fishers go through the city to find those who willing to buy their catches. The writer sees this phenomenon as a constraint to fishers’ value of income. The ability to catch more than their usual actually obstructed by the fact they can only carry a small amount on a plastic bucket. Through this social empowerment program, the writer has come with the solution idea for the Kalembak fishers in order to ease their mobility service. By doing a purposive sampling on a qualitative method and observation, the writer finds the data on Kalembak fishers who need enhancement on their mobilization. For result, the Kalembak fishers get to multiply and increase their usual catch and income

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasikan pentingnya buku masak dengan resep yang sehat bagi anak kos. Dalam penelitian ini, dapat ditandai bahwa bahan yang digunakan memberikan peran yang sangat penting, contohnya seperti telur saja. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa telur dapat mengandung vitamin A, asam folat, vitamin B5, vitamin B12, vitamin B2, fosfor, selenium, vitamin D, vitamin E, vitamin K, vitamin B6, kalsium. Bukan saja telur, melalui penelitian ini, ayam, tahu, Kentang dan yang lainnya juga berdampak baik bagi kesehatan. Tentunya, penelitian ini akan memberikan manfaat bagi peneliti masa depan, baik dalam hal kesehatan ataupun dalam hal keuangan karena kelompok kami menggunakan resep dengan bahan yang sehat dan biaya yang murah.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the community around the Ma'dare coast knowing about beach cleaning and socialization of the 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) program location in Kampung Melayu RT 01 RW 08 Batu Besar, Nongsa. From the survey results, we found that with a population of approximately 2,600 people, people are categorized as capable. Because the performance of the Kampung Melayu settlement includes people who have an advanced mindset to prosper the community by promoting the beauty of the beach there named Ma'dare beach. Our goal is to carry out this cleansing and outreach program to provide an understanding of the importance of separation between organic and non-organic waste to the people of RW 08 and visitors there. Data collection instruments use documentation via mobile phones or gadgets. Security via gadget is very helpful for us to document the real case like we can take a picture of how it is there, make a video which contain of Kampung Melayu citizen and ask them about the existing circulation system and public awareness of the reforestation.
