Abstract

Background: Long-term contraception is the most cost-effective type of modern contraception and to prevent unwanted pregnancies for 3-10 years, one of the methods of MKJP is implant birth control. In 2019, the coverage of long-term contraception acceptors was 23.1%, and the number of implant users was 4.7%. Many acceptors were less interested in implants because they were afraid of how to install them. Therefore, to reduce anxiety and pain, the servants tried to use complementary therapy such as the use of virtual reality, slow deep breathing, and lavender essential oil. Methods: This community service activity is included in a series of events commemorating World contraception day and contributes to the success of the 250,000 MKJP programs launched by BKKBN. The activity was carried out on 19 and 24 August 2020 at PMB Istri Yuliani and was attended by 28 implant acceptors. Results: The number of implant acceptors who participated in this activity was 28 mothers, with an average age at healthy reproductive age (85.7%), an average level of education for secondary education (85.7%), and having more than 1 child ( 64.3%) only 32.1% of the acceptors have never used family planning before, the rest have used various contraceptive methods. The use of effective complementary therapies can reduce anxiety levels in mothers by 9.50 points. Besides, the use of complementary therapies is also effective in reducing pain felt by implant acceptors. Conclusion: Complementary virtual reality therapy, slow deep breathing, and lavender essential oil can reduce the level of anxiety and pain in implant family planning acceptors. Keywords: anxiety, pain, implants, complementary therapy

Abstract

The need for stimulation or efforts to stimulate children to introduce new knowledge or skills is very important in improving children's intelligence. Stimulation in children can be started since the baby is a fetus, because the fetus is not a passive creature. In the womb, the fetus is able to breathe, kick, stretch, move, swallow, suck the thumb, and others. While the main stimulation is given specifically for children aged 0-7 years (Siswono, 2004). PAUD teacher's understanding and awareness of the importance and influence of parental education on child development vary. Many do not understand the characteristics of early childhood development, stimulation, and implementation of early detection of early childhood growth and development. Asih Waluyo Jati Clinic is a Pratama clinic that has a program about child development. With community service at the Asih Waluyo Jati Primary Clinic, it is expected that the knowledge and understanding of PAUD teachers on the characteristics of growth and development, simulation, and implementation of early detection of early childhood growth and development can be increased. The activity was carried out at the Pratama Asih Waluyo Jati Clinic on Sunday, October 8, 2017, at 09.00 to 15.00 with material about problems of child growth and development in Indonesia, the importance of monitoring children's growth and development, the participation of teachers and parents in child development, how to detect children's growth and how to detect a child's development. The methods used in this activity include lectures, questions and answers, and role-play. Most of the participants understood what early detection and stimulation of children's growth and development were. But about the types and ways of early detection that must be done many do not understand. The participant's lack of understanding about the types and methods of early detection of children when training has not been conducted is likely because since they have never attended training and there has been no socialization from the education office related to monitoring child development. After being given the material, the participants understood that the types of early detection were detection of growth, development, and mental-emotional. Stimulation is very important as a form of intervention so that the child's growth and development can take place optimally. Keywords: early childhood, stimulation, early detection, growth, development

Abstract

The potential of dates in the health sector has long been known. The benefits of consumption of dates, also affect mothers who are breastfeeding. The nutritional needs of infants up to the age of six months are obtained through breast milk. Sufficient milk production, both in quantity and quality, will determine the growth of the baby. Efforts to achieve optimal infant nutrition up to the age of six months can only be done through improving maternal nutrition. This illustrates that the food consumed by nursing mothers is very influential on the production of breast milk. Based on observations of breastfeeding mothers in the Sokaraja Kulon Village there are still many who do not know the benefits of dates on nursing mothers. The goal is to increase knowledge about the benefits of dates for nursing mothers, and increase milk production. The method of implementing community service is the provision of health education about the benefits of dates on breastfeeding with the method of learning by doing. The percentage of toddlers who are very short and short of age 0-59 months in Indonesia in 2018 is 11.5% and 19.3%. This condition increased from the previous year, namely the percentage of toddlers aged 0-59 months was very short at 9.8% and short toddlers at 19.8%. Abstract

Kampung Kepuh is located in a geographic position -7781984, 110184. Kelurahan Klitren has a population of 9669 inhabitants, with a male gender distribution of 4719 people and 4950 women. The area of Kepuh village, which is located in Klitren village, is adjacent to Jalan Solo, which is the second center of shops in Jogjakarta. This condition causes Kepuh village to have the potential for disasters such as fires, prone to traffic accidents and prone to acts of violence such as thieves, pickpockets and robbery. Therefore, it requires easy access to seek assistance for the people of Kepuh village. One access to seeking assistance is the Jogja Smart Service application which can be installed on a cellphone or smartphone. The problem is that the use of cellphones has not been optimal in terms of accessing services for requests for assistance to the city government through the Jogja Smart Service (JSS) application. The solution given was a short workshop with classical and face-to-face methods on the use of the JSS application Keywords:  Disaster-prone, Jogja Smart Service, workshop with a coma
