Abstract

The paradigm of midwifery services has now shifted. Midwifery care is carried out in a combination of conventional and complementary midwifery services, and has become an important part of midwifery practice (Harding & Foureur, 2009). Childbirth in the First Stage caused pain experienced by maternity. One way to reduce pain in labor with complementary therapies include aromatherapy, relaxation therapy, music therapy and massage. The benefits of complementary therapy are that it helps increase relaxation while practicing breathing which is beneficial in labor and helps calm the mother, maintain the strength of the uterus during childbirth, help with breathing, and lower blood pressure. PMB Yuliani's wife is one of the Midwife's Independent Practices in the Sleman area that provides midwifery services and baby spa. Based on data obtained by Trimester III pregnant women still do not know the technique of pain reduction with complementary therapy methods. Objective: To provide training to pregnant women about pain reduction techniques with complementary therapy. Methods: conducted with counseling, lectures and frequently asked questions and practices (complementary therapy training). Community service activities carried out with counseling and training activities for Trimester III pregnant women for 3 days (20-22 August 2019). The activity was carried out for Pregnant Women at PMB Wife Yuliani Ngaglik Sleman D.I Yogyakarta. The participants seemed very relaxed and experienced the hypnobirthing process, because this was the experience of the participants for the first time getting this training. Participants suggest holding routine therapeutic training with this complementary method because it is felt to be very useful and participants feel much calmer, relaxed and comfortable after attending complementary method therapy training.Keywords: Complementary, Pregnant Women

Abstract

The true teenager is the hope of a nation, the country will become strong if it has teenagers who are spiritually intelligent, intellectually and have a strong emotional. As the rapid development of the world makes changes in behavior in adolescents, but these changes are more likely to lead to negative activities rather than positive activities. Problems that often arise are usually related to sexuality issues, such as unwanted pregnancy, abortion, HIV / AIDS, and drug abuse. Adolescents with these behavioral deviations need a treatment and also get information about reproductive health for young women and men, need to organize a good future by leaving unwholesome behavior that can damage the future of adolescents. Going through adolescence far from deviant behavior would certainly be our common concern. Teenagers will not be able to walk on their own without the assistance of parents, the school, home and etc. Realizing this, the Community Service Study Program of the Midwifery Study Program at the Faculty of Health, Ngudi Waluyo University, felt responsible for facilitating adolescents to learn to understand and be able to practice healthy behaviors to become adolescents who had strong hopes for the nation. Community Service is carried out in 5 stages, namely the first phase of selecting active groups of students who are willing to be agents of change for GenRe / willing to be peer educators, the second stage of counseling and training of peer educators. The third stage of mentoring is increasing peer group skills in providing information to peers. Stage four peer educators independently socialize GenRe to peers. The Fifth stage evaluates the delivery of information from peer educators to their peers, explores the usefulness of the existence of peer educators, limitations and new things that arise when becoming a peer educator.Keywords: Generation planning, peer educators

Abstract

Teenagers are often classified as a group that is always healthy away from risk factors for illness, but many health problems suffered by adolescents due to behavioral factors that can actually be prevented. Teenagers are faced with complex problems related to physical, psychological and emotional changes that cause teens to experience health problems. Some health problems that often occur are nutrition and reproductive health. Prevention can be done if students make early detection of nutritional problems and adolescent reproductive health problems with the support of the environment both at home and at school. The obstacle that often occurs in schools is a fairly large comparison between the number of health service providers and the number of students in school. The role of adolescent health cadres to help adolescents be more comfortable discussing about nutrition and adolescent reproductive health issues. In connection with these problems, community service programs provide solutions to improve students' knowledge of adolescent nutritional status and early detection of adolescent reproductive health problems through training and mentoring of adolescent health cadres. The activity began with the training of adolescent health cadres totaling 18 grade 7 students through active learning learning methods. From these activities it was found there was an increase in the knowledge of adolescent health cadres after the training. The next activity was an accompanying adolescent health cadre to conduct health education with peers consisting of class 8 totaling 54 students. The result is an increase in knowledge. The next activity is the evaluation of activities with the school principal and Wa.Ka. students, and obtained results that this activity will be continued with other class targets using the media that has been given.Keywords: Health cadres, adolescent nutrition, adolescent reproductive health

Abstract

PLKB health cadres in Giwangan Yogyakarta are now using conventional methods in accounting start from managing administrative data to financial processing. It requires manual documentation by writing on sheets of paper. Data loss due to paper based is vulnerable Apart from the possibility of unclear writing, tearing can cause damage on this document and cause problems that make it difficult for accountability. This paper applies the training method by giving lectures and computer demonstrations. The level of participant education requires a patient speaker in delivering the material in slowly and detail. Hence, the constraints required good, polite treatment, speech andwell ethics. The results of activity to the PLKB health cadre in Giwangan are expected to increase the understanding and give insight of computers beneficial in financial management. Abstract

The scope of breast milk (ASI) must always be increased with various effort according to the conditions of the community. Availability of nutritions and limited of funds are the factors that make to increase in the Caturharjo region that exclusive breast milk. One of effort is to teach PKK mothers to be able to reinventing waste benefits. Community service activities with Caturharjo village cadres can reach a wider area and PKK who are always in direct contact with posyandu activities in each hamlet. Activities carried out in the form of conseling and training with direct demonstrations. The results of activities attended by 91 health cadres have given results that there is an increase in the understanding of health cadres mothers about the use waste from average of 7.2 to 8.25 on a scale of 0-10 points. Health cadres are able to carry out breastfeeding correctly and safely. Abstract

English in the era Industrial Revolution 4.0 became the main requirement in various sectors. Indonesia educational fields gave attention for English subject so that became a local content subject in elementary school. In providing foreign language skills to elementary school children, it needs certain methods to suit their world. Learning English for elementary school children should be suitable for their needs, such learning through play, active learning, effective learning, and fun. The aim of community service is to know the learning methods that are more preffered by the elementary school children and to provide basic knowledge on kinds of material such ‘how to introduce your self’, ‘direction’, ‘5W + 1H’. From its activities, it is found that the learning methods that is most preffered by the female elementary school children are story telling method, while games method more chosen by the male of school age children. There is an increase in knowledge of participants related to basic material ‘how to introduce your self’, ‘direction’, ‘5W + 1H’, it is proven by the results of the post test that has been done. The knowledge value of participants as many as 15 elementary school age children before learning is ± 62.80 and after the community service is ± 80.33.Keywords: Learning English, elementary school age children, learning methods

Abstract

ABSTRAK Atlet membutuhan informasi gizi olahraga yang akurat karena gizi optimal menunjang prestasi. Sebaliknya gizi yang tidak memadai, menghambat atlet mencapai performa terbaik. Pemberian makanan pada atlet perlu disesuaikan dengan periode latihan. Fokus grup diskusi mengenai pengaturan pola makan atlet bertujuan menggali permasalahan orang tua secara mendalam mengenai pemenuhan gizi pada atlet. Dimana pengaturan gizi atlet terbagi menjadi tiga periode yaitu periode persiapan, periode pertandingan, periode pemulihan. Atlet dari cabang olahraga yang berbeda memiliki kebutuhan energi yang berbeda terkait dengan perbedaan jenis latihan, intensitas latihan, durasi latihan. Orang tua memiliki peran yang besar dalam memberikan konsumsi makanan pada anak. Hal tersebut akan mempengaruhi bagaimana anak berkembang, sehingga diperlukan makanan sehat, seimbang dengan kebutuhan gizi. Pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan Selasa, 17 September 2019 terhadap 24 orang tua atlet sepak bola di SSB Real Madrid. Sementara di SSB Baturetno dilakukan 30 orang tua atlet sepak bola di SSB Baturetno pada Ahad, 15 September 2019. Secara keseluruhan, orang tua atlet sepak bola SSB Real Madrid UNY dan SSB Baturetno mengetahui adanya perbedaan antara pengaturan makanan sesuai periode latihan. Namun, orang tua atlet belum mampu menerapkan menu sebelum bertanding, saat bertanding dan setelah bertanding dikarenakan kurangnya pengetahuan mengenai kandungan gizi, kebiasaan makan dalam lingkungannya, keterbatasan waktu menyiapkan makanan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan dilakukan secara berkelanjutan, mengingat kemungkinan siswa yang berbeda setiap tahunnya. Selain edukasi kepada orang tua atlet, kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan dilakukan tidak hanya kepada orang tua atlet SSB Real Madrid UNY dan SSB Baturetno, melainkan kepada atlet juga pelatih atlet di SSB tersebut. Kata kunci: fokus grup diskusi, orang tua atlet, pengaturan pola makan

Abstract

Mojo village, located in Mojo, Ngeposari, Semanu, Gunung Kidul. The distance from the city of Yogyakarta is approximately 20 km to the east. There are various types of tourism in this village, ranging from agriculture, nature tourism, cultural tourism, to handicrafts. Nature tourism is also diverse such as Goa Gesing, Goa Jlamprong, Goa Sinden, and Embung Jlamprong. However, there is one of the tourist attractions in the Mojo Tourism Village. However, it is necessary to manage governance from the potential infaq, zakat, and shodaqoh to improve the ability of the community. In terms of planning, there is no governance and transaction income that originates from the income of indigenous people because of the recording and documentation that is not optimal. The direct benefits derived from tax payments to the Government are felt to be lacking. Therefore it is necessary to conduct financial management training and management of zakat, infaq and shodaqoh management for the surrounding community so that it can be used quickly, in accordance with the budget and costs incurred during Zakat, Infaq and Shodaqoh use. By issuing good and documented zakat, infaq and shodaqoh, the manager of the Mojo hamlet will more easily get capital to develop the region's economy. The program to achieve targets and outcomes consists of two areas namely training on ZIS financial management and collection of zakat, infaq and shodaqoh for special communities in the Mojo hamlet. Each plan consists of 2 activities, namely preparation and briefing as well as implementation.Key Word: escalation of working capital, financial governance, ZIS

Abstract

Increased Life Expectancy has an impact on increasing the number of elderly people. Older people are part of a society that cannot be solved in our lives. Widodomartani Village, Ngemplak Subdistrict, Sleman DIY is one of the villages that has a high number of elderly people. Some of them still remain productive in their old age. This needs to be maintained and improved, considering that the elderly are the age group that is susceptible to disease. Abstract

Today,there are many universities that carry out the princip leofentrepreneurship within their vision and mission, and so does Respati Yogyakarta University (UNRIYO). If most universities have started independent business units both inside and outside their institutions, it can be said that UNRIYO is still far behind. To begin to realize a dream to have an independent business unit within the institution, the RECENT team has a simple idea but it is likely to bring tremendous benefits, namely the creation of a brand and design for the UNRIYO catering tools, namelythesnackbox and the lunch box.Dueto the lack of Human Resources(HR) in the RECENT team and very limited initial capital, we think that this business is the most possible one to do. Talking about brands, it cannot be separated from the discussion about branding. If the brand word refers to a brand, then the definition of branding is a variety of communication activities carried out by accompany with the aimof building and raising abrand. These two things are the main activities of our program this time. In addition, by carrying out a brand and doing branding on UNRIYO catering tools, we have a mission to instil a positive image so as to foster a love and pride toward theinstitution.Keywords: Entrepreneurship, Independent Business, Brand, Design, UNRIYO
