Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar dalam pembelajaran IPS dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar dalam pembelajaran IPS. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 93 Singkawang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 93 Singkawang yang berjumlah 27 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pemberian tes kemampuan berpikir kritis, angket kemandirian belajar, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu siswa dengan kategori kemandirian belajar tinggi sudah cukup mampu dalam memenuhi keempat indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis dimana siswa mampu memahami serta mengekspresikan makna dari suatu permasalahan, mampu menganalisis, mengevaluasi sebuah pernyataan serta menarik kesimpulan dengan baik. Untuk siswa kategori kemandirian belajar sedang memiliki kemampuan memahami serta mengekspresikan makna dari suatu permasalahan, menganalisis dan mengevaluasi suatu pernyataan tetapi tidak mampu menarik sebuah kesimpulan dari pernyataan yang ada. Kemudian untuk siswa kategori kemandirian belajar rendah hanya mampu memahami serta mengekspresikan makna dari suatu permasalahan dan mampu mengevaluasi atau menilai sebuah pernyataan tetapi tidak mampu untuk menganalisis dan menarik kesimpulan berdasarkan pernyataan yang ada. Faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir kritis ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar yaitu motivasi, minat, intelektual, kemandirian, dan konsentrasi.

Abstract

The realistic mathematics education learning model is one of the appropriate learning models to be applied in elementary schools. This research aims to measure how much influence the realistic mathematics education learning model has on the cognitive and affective thinking skills of elementary school students. The method used in this research is quasi-experimental method. This method has nine stages, namely: literature review, identifying and limiting research problems, developing research hypotheses, creating research designs, conducting pretests, conducting experiments, conducting post-tests, processing and analyzing data, and drawing conclusions. The research sample amounted to 28 students, consisting of 14 students in the experimental class and 14 students in the control class. The data collection technique used was a test of students' cognitive and affective thinking skills. The results showed that the application of the realistic mathematics education learning model had a significant effect on the cognitive and affective thinking skills of elementary school students in the experimental class. Other cognitive and affective thinking skills can be further researched in order to get broader findings.

Abstract

Good teaching materials are needed to be applied to natural science learning in elementary schools. Teaching materials must be able to accommodate the needs of low-grade students so that students can interact better during learning. This research was conducted with the aim of producing interactive learning patterns using powerpoint media in natural science learning for low-grade elementary school students. This research was conducted using a qualitative research method. This method has four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data processing, and conclusion. The respondents were elementary school students in the lower grades (grades 2 and 3). The results showed that powerpoint teaching materials have high effectiveness in interactive learning in the process of learning natural science in low grade elementary schools. Elementary school teachers should use powerpoint teaching materials more often so that natural science learning can be more effective in producing complete student learning outcomes, both cognitively, affectively and psychomotorically.

Abstract

The implementation of elementary school teachers' working groups is very important to be carried out regularly in order to build understanding among teachers on the quality of learning. This research aims to measure how much influence the implementation of teachers' working groups has on the discipline and professional skills of elementary school teachers. The method used in this research is the quasi-experimental method. This method has nine stages, namely: literature review, identifying and limiting the research problem, developing research hypotheses, creating a research design, conducting pretests, conducting experiments, conducting post-tests, processing and analyzing data, and drawing conclusions. The research sample amounted to 18 teachers, consisting of 9 teachers in the experimental class and 9 teachers in the control class. The data collection technique used was observation of teacher discipline and professional skills. The results showed that the implementation of teachers' working groups had a significant effect on the discipline and professional skills of elementary school teachers in the experimental class. The implementation of the teachers' working group should be carried out continuously and its quality should be improved so that it can have more influence on other aspects of teacher performance.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the relationship between emotional intelligence and learning discipline with learning outcomes in thematic learning. The method used is ex post facto research with a type of correlation research. The population in this study was all VA class students of State Elementary School 39 Pontianak Kota with sampling using a simple random sampling technique of 16 students. The data collection techniques used in the study were in the form of questionnaires and tests about class V learning outcomes theme 9 subtheme 2. Data analysis techniques use the product moment formula. The results of the calculation of the product moment correlation between emotional intelligence and learning outcomes were 0.591, between learning discipline and learning outcomes of 0.670, between emotional intelligence and learning discipline of 0.461. The results of the calculation of the double correlation of product moment between emotional intelligence and learning discipline with learning outcomes obtained = 0.581> = 0.497. So it can be concluded that Ha accepted there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and learning discipline with learning outcomes in thematic learning of grade V students of State Elementary School 39 Pontianak Kota with a moderate level of correlation. Abstract

Abstract The background of this research is the finding of problems that arise in the content of mathematics lessons in class IV.A of SD Negeri 112 Palembang. The problem is the low mathematics learning outcomes in fractional material. The reason is that learning still uses the lecture method. The corrective action chosen is the application of the problem-based learning model. The subjects of this study were 42 class IV.A students at SD Negeri 112 Palembang. Data collection techniques using observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used is a qualitative descriptive approach and descriptive statistics. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles, with the results of the research showing that the application of the problem-based learning model to the mathematics lesson content had a positive impact on student learning outcomes. The increase in student learning outcomes can be seen from the percentage increase in cycle I by 57%, then it increased in cycle II by 83%. Thus this research can be said to be successful in improving student learning outcomes through the application of problem-based learning models. Abstract

Pada pembelajaran abad ke-21 terdapat 4 keterampilan yang perlu dikembangkan, yaitu berpikir kritis (critical thinking), kreativitas (creativity), kolaborasi (collaboration), dan keterampilan berkomunikasi (communication skills) yang disebut dengan 4C. Keterampilan kolaborasi merupakan salah satu keterampilan abad ke-21 yang penting untuk ditanamkan pada peserta didik sejak masih duduk dibangku sekolah dasar kelas rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik mata pelajaran matematika kelas 2 SD Muhammadiyah 3 Assalaam. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang menggunakan wawancara semiterstruktur, lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas 2 SD Muhammadiyah 3 Assalaam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta didik kelas 2 memiliki minat yang tinggi dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran project based learning. Mayoritas peserta didik menyatakan setuju atau sangat setuju bahwa mereka merasa senang belajar mata pelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan model project based learning dan lebih mengerti dengan materi matematika yang bersifat abstrak dikarenakan salah satu faktor yaitu dapat berdiskusi dengan teman dalam satu kelompok sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model project based learning meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik.

Abstract

The reading ability of students at SDN 01 Sembowo varies, ranging from not being able to read at all or being able to read but not fluent. This problem occurs because it comes from the students themselves and also the lack of attention from parents in guiding them at home. Even in the classroom, there is actually reinforcement or assistance in reading, but students are not able to accept it well. Classroom action research was used in this study with the planning, implementation (action) and evaluation reflection stages. Observation and tests are used as data collection techniques. The research was conducted in stages through two cycles. In this study, the average post-procedure yield in Cycle II was 75%, which was an increase compared to Cycle I, which was only 62.5%. This can be strengthened by increasing students' reading literacy, which causes students to become more active and learn with more confidence in themselves. The advice given is that teachers should be able to optimize all available resources so that they can boost teacher creativity and quality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning interest of third grade students at SD Negeri Wonosari, Ngombol District, Purworejo Regency. The method used in this study is a qualitative method and is presented in a descriptive form. The technique used to obtain information in this study was an interview technique with the object of the interview, namely students' interest in learning and the subject of the interview, namely class III teaching staff and class III students, and the interview was held on May 13, 2023 at SD Negeri Wonosari, Ngombol District, Kabupaten Purworejo. And the results of the interviews were analyzed and presented in a descriptive form. The interviews referred to 4 indicators of interest in learning namely: feeling happy, interested in learning, showing attention while studying and involvement in learning. From the results of the interviews it is known that students do not have a full feeling of pleasure in learning; students are less interested in learning because the teacher has not used monotonous media and learning methods; students have not shown their full attention in learning, there are still many students who are busy chatting, busy, and walking around during learning; and students are still slightly involved in learning. The results of the research lead to low student interest in learning caused by several factors such as: motivation, facilities, learning methods, and the environment. Teachers must try to develop students' interest in learning so that learning is achieved optimally.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning process in the classroom which is still dominated by listening to the teacher's explanation and using pictures. This makes students feel bored so that students' enthusiasm for learning is lacking. This study aims to develop, test the validity, and applicability of learning video media development products using the kinemaster application on subtheme 2 energy changes for third grade students of SD Negeri 1 Bono. This research uses a method with the ADDIE model which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The data collection technique was carried out by testing the validity of the media, material and distributing questionnaires. The instruments used in this study used media expert validation sheets, material experts, and student questionnaires. The results obtained by the media validation by the validator obtained a percentage of 90% with a very valid category, the material validator assessment obtained a percentage of 92.5% with a very valid category, and the student response assessment obtained a percentage of 92% with a very valid category. Thus the results of this study can be concluded that "Learning Video Media Using the Kinemaster Application is very valid to be used as learning media in class III SD Negeri 1 Bono". The results of this study can be applied at SD Negeri 1 Bono Class III with the existence of learning video media making it easier for students to learn.
