Abstract

The study aims to know and analyze the impact of training on motivation, to know and to analyse the impact of training on productivity, to know and analyze the impact of motivation on productivity, to know and to analyze the impact of training on the productivity of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the district of Kombut of Boven Digoel District if mediated by motivation. Methodology Research uses a quantitative approach to using the analysis of the pathway (path). Population and samples amounted to 89 respondents with a total sampling of the sampling techniques where the number of samples was equal to the population. Data processing method using smart PLS 3. The results of the study showed 1) that the training variables were partially positive and significant to the motivation. 2) Variable training has been partially positive and significant to the business productivity, 3) The motivation variable positively and significantly affects the business productivity, 4) The training variables positively and significantly affect the productivity

Abstract

Tax avoidance is a strategy applied by taxpayers to undertake legally burden taxes to decrease tax payment. Avoidance techniques by exploiting loopholes in tax laws. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of corporate governance (institutional ownership, the board size, independent commissioners, audit boards) on tax avoidance (ETR) mediated by financial performance measured by Return on assets (ROA). The samples used were companies listed in the LQ45 index from the period of 2014 to 2018, with a total of 30 companies collected through purposive sampling. The study applied path analysis techniques using IBM SPSS 23 statistical software. These results indicate that corporate governance simultaneously influences financial performance and tax avoidance. Institutional ownership and audit committees have a positive and significant effect on financial performance. Interestingly, the size of the board of commissioners and independent commissioners were found insignificant to financial performance. To tax avoidance, the size of the board of commissioners, independent commissioners, and the audit board has a significant positive effect, but institutional ownership does not have a significant negative effect on tax avoidance, while financial performance negatively correlates to tax avoidance. Financial performance can mediate institutional ownership of tax avoidance. Differently, other independent variables did not show relationships.

Abstract

The research objective is to analyse the effect of organizational culture on employee performance with the mediation of the variable organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Data analysis in this research is quantitative using a path analysis model (Path) with the help of Smart PLS Software version 3.2 .8. The results found that organizational culture had a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Interestingly, it indicates an insignificant effect on employee performance. Organizational commitment and job satisfaction both show a significant positive effect on employee performance. For testing the indirect effect is found empirical facts that organizational culture has a significant positive effect on employee performance if mediated by organizational commitment. The organizational culture does not have a significant positive effect on employee performance if mediated by job satisfaction.

Abstract

Employee performance is a main concern for public organizations to provide excellent service to public communities. To reach a high employee performance, human resources is prominent key successes. This study aims to analyse the effect of work environment on organizational culture and employee performance mediated by organizational culture at Regional Secretariat Office of the Boven Digoel Distrct. The study applied Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the use of a saturated sample from sevent working divisions at Secretariat Office. With respect to analysis, all weighted loading factor indicate above 0.50 and coefficient path paramaters for the relationship between the work environment and organizational culture and employee peformance are a positive and significant. This is also valid for the relationship between organizational culture and employee performance.

Abstract

The research objective is to analyze the direct impact of leadership toward transfer knowledge and work effectiveness in Boven Digoel. Data analysis in this research is quantitative using a path analysis model (path analysis) with the help of Smart PLS Software version 3.2 .8. The research distributed questionnaires to 89 respondents of officers assigned at the secretariat office in Boven Digoel Regency. On the basis of statistical results, it was found that leadership can be said to have impacted positively and significant knowledge transfer and work effectiveness. The knowledge transfer also has a positive impact on work effectiveness.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of business networks, product innovation and business competition on the development of MSMEs in Boven Digoel Regency either partially or simultaneously. This study will explain the causal relationship between variables through hypothesis testing. In this study, the analytical method used is path analysis (Path Analysis) using the SPSS program. The results of the study found that the variables of business networks, product innovation, and business competition partially have a significant effect on the development of small and medium enterprises in Boven Digoel Regency, which means that when the Business Network is improved it will have a significant effect on the development of Small and Medium Enterprises in Boven Digoel Regency. Furthermore, the variables of Business Network, Product Innovation, and Business Competition together (simultaneously) have a significant effect on the development of Small and Medium Enterprises in Boven Digoel district.

Abstract

Human resource management is a strategic and decisive part. The organization and employees are one unit that has a relationship and must be balanced. To be able to support the achievement of organizational goals requires effort and hard work of all aspects of organizational resources to achieve organizational goals and objectives. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational development and career paths on organizational commitment and employee performance, organizational development, and career paths have an effect on employee performance through organizational commitment as an intervening variable. This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The sample used is civil servants (PNS), data collection techniques through questionnaires, while the techniques used are path analysis and Sobel test. The results showed that the organization and career path had a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment and employee performance. Organizational commitment has an effect on performance, then organizational development and career path have a positive and significant indirect effect on employee performance through organizational commitment in the Rector of Hasanuddin University.

Abstract

This research was conducted by the author with the aim know employee performance at the Regional Secretariat of Sorong Regency seen in aspects on aspects inputs(input), process (process), outputs (output), outcomes (results), benefits (benefits), and impacts (impact). The research method is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation, and documentation using the interactive model. The results of this study indicate the performance of employees at the Regional Secretariat of Sorong Regency is considered to be carried out well, this is indicated by the success of the objectives that have been planned by the Sorong Regency regional government by ensuring all inputs, starting from reliable and competent human resources for all their duties and functions, the existence of adequate facilities and infrastructure and adequacy of the budget. From the main tasks and functions, and work programs can be realized maximally and provide benefits and positive impacts for the needs of community services and also increase regional development. The performance of employees at the Regional Secretariat of Sorong Regency which is considered good is also inseparable from the work process of employees being able to utilize all resources optimally,

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and job environment on job satisfaction, the effect of compensation, and job environment on employee loyalty, the effect of job satisfaction on employee loyalty. It is also intended to analyze the effect of compensation and job environment on employee loyalty, through job satisfaction as an intervening variable. This study uses a path analysis model. The sample in this study was 62 permanent employees of the BNI Makassar Branch. The data in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires. The results showed that the compensation and job environment had a significant effect on job satisfaction. Further, the research indicates that compensation, job environment, and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty. The result also found that job environment has a significant effect on employee loyalty through the job satisfaction variable as an intervening. Job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee loyalty and compensation has a significant effect on employee Loyalty through the job satisfaction variable as an intervention.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of information technology and tenure on the competence and quality of administrative services at Hasanuddin University. This type of research uses this type of quantitative research is a type of research which is a type of research with the researcher as the decision-maker for what research will be carried out, compiling specific questions, limiting questions, collecting measurable data from participants, analyzing numbers using statistics, conducting an impartial investigation, in objective ways. In analyzing data, researchers collect, classify, analyze, and interpret data in order to provide a clear picture of the problem under study. The results showed that information technology partially has a positive and significant effect on competence, tenure partially has a positive and significant effect on competence, information technology partially has a positive and significant effect on service quality, tenure partially has a positive and significant effect on service quality, Competence partially has a positive and significant effect on service quality, Information technology partially has a positive and significant effect on the quality of administrative services through competence, then tenure partially has a positive and significant effect on the quality of administrative services through competence.
