Abstract

During the current pandemic, the development of information and communication technology is very much needed in daring learning. The problem this study is how to describe the level of problem-solving abilities carried out by students in solving math problems on the number pattern material according to Polya during daring learning. This study aims to describe the problem-solving abilities according to Polya during daring learning on number pattern material for class VIII MTs. Hasanuddin Semboro with the subjects studied were 6 out of 23 students. This research method type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The results showed that the, students tended to be incomplete in writing down known and asked data and students are able to describe number pattern problems using symbols. At the stage, students are able to recall the number pattern problems that have been resolved. At the stage of carrying out, students are able to carry out their plans and check for the previous steps to have been carried out. At the re-checking stage, some students are able to re-examine and steps that have been carried out.   Keywords: problem solving, number pattern, online learning

Abstract

Abstrack Teachers and lecturers are educational, but have duties, among others, to improve performance in classroom action research in improving student learning outcomes for mathematics subjects. This research is a PTK which is often called PTK by using the Lut lewin model which consists of four stages 1. Planning 2. Action 3. Observation and 4 Reflections. The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes by using google classroom for class VIII at SMPN One Atap Kandang Kapongan, Situbondo Regency. The number of students is 20 students. In data collection techniques using observation, documentation and tests and analysis techniques through models with the order of presenting information and drawing conclusions. The results of this study were to improve student learning outcomes for the subject of the Pythagorean theorem, this can be seen from the results of the percentage of student learning outcomes in cycle I reached 60% while cycle II reached 85% so that student learning outcomes tied 20% with KKM number 70 out of 100. of the complete cycle I, there are 12 students while cycle II 17 students. So it can be concluded that usinglearning media google classroom can improve student learning outcomes with the subject of the Pytagoras Theorem for class VII SMPN Satu Atap Kandang, Situbondo Regency 2020-2021. Abstract

Abstrack This study aims to describe the application of realistic mathematics education based on group investigative learning model for student activities and learning outcomes. The type of the research is classroom action research (CAR). Researchers conducted observations in class X APH SMK Negeri 8 Jember and obtained data on an increase in activity and student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. The research design refers to the Hopskins cycle design model. Based on the research results, it was seen that there was an increase in the proportion of student learning activities, namely 51% in cycle I and 60% in cycle II. Meanwhile, for student learning outcomes, the percentage was 16% in cycle I and 78% in cycle II. After comparing between cycle I and cycle II, it can be seen that an increase in learning outcomes is as expected, namely at least 75%. This proves that the activity and student learning outcomes can be increased by the application of a group investigative learning model based on realistic mathematics education. Abstract

Abstrack This study aims to improve student activity and learning outcomes through the TAI learning model based on PBI. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research subjects were students of class VIII SMP An-Nisa Gumukmas. The data collection methods used were interview, observation, test and documentation methods. This research was conducted in two cycles. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the percentage of activity in the first cycle is 56.71% and in the second cycle it is 71.99%, that there appears to be an increase. Then for the average value in cycle I is 68.89 with a percentage of learning outcomes completeness of 55.56% and in cycle II an average value of 78.67 is obtained with a percentage of 92.59%, this shows that there appears to be an increase in activity and student learning outcomes by applying the TAI learning model based on PBI. From the results obtained, it can be concluded that the application of the TAI learning model based on PBI can increase student activity and learning outcomes. Abstract

Abstrack This study aims to describe the process and results of the development of PROPOMIMI learning techniques with XMIND assisted. The type of research used is development research. This research was conducted on tenth grade students at SMKs Al-Akhyar. This research model adopts the 4D Tianggarajan model, but this research was carried out only as 3D. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that learning techniques have been successfully developed using a modified 4-D model whose stages include: (1) the Defining Stage which includes the initial and final analysis and subject analysis; (2) Design Phase; and (3) the Development Phase which includes the learning strategy expert test, the learning media expert test and the learning evaluation expert test. The results of the validation percentages provided include 82.1% expert validation of learning strategies, 79% of learning media expert validation and 85.7% of learning evaluation expert validation. Thus, it can be concluded that the PROPOMIMI learning techniques with XMIND assisted is very feasible to use in mathematics learning with an average validation assessment by the validators of 81.3%.  Keywords: PROPOMIMI, XMIND, creative

Abstract

Mathematical reasoning is one of the reasons students need in understanding creatives ideas. One approach to further develop mathematical reasoning is to play problem solving. By using this approach, students are expected to be directly involved in formulating, managing, and solving their own problems without the intervention of others. So in this study intends to examine the role of problem solving in improving mathematical reasoning skills. In this study, Mix methods is an approach with a Quasi Experimental Design Method as a form of comparison design. The subjects used were the control class which received cpntional learning and the experimental class which received assistance with a problem solving approach. The research was conducted at Ibrahimy University in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. Data collection was carried out starting from observation, tests, interviews, and documentation. The analysis technique used is decriptive qualitative and quantitative with paired samples test. The result of the study showed a significance value of (0,003  0,05) that the role of problem solving can improves student’s mathematical reasoning abilities with massive, active, and creative use being the key in this method. Abstract

In this era of The New Normal where students, teachers, and even parents are ‘forced’ to get accustomed to distance learning, we cannot simply overlook the importance of feedback on students’ work especially in mathematics teaching and learning, since feedback will provide information about the level of students' understanding of the material provided and also encourage them because their work is valued. This is a descriptive qualitative article about the overview of online mathematics classes and also how to utilize the role of feedback in them. The data in this article was enriched with the results of a questionnaire for 83 respondents from higher education in West Borneo. The results of the questionnaire revealed that 64.5% of respondents thought that online discussion groups were the most convenient platform to use in online learning, while video conference (90,3%) recorded the least. Regarding feedback, 53.8% of respondents chose corrective information on the work of the learner as the preferred form of feedback compared to the other two. At the end of this article, also suggested some ways for teachers to provide feedbacks based on the distance learning platform used in The New Normal Era. Keywords: feedback, online class, new normal era
