Abstract

Mathematics has always been a difficult subject for the students. Math learning in the classroom is often a very tedious process for most students. Many students are unmotivated to study mathematics, which means that the disposition of students in learning mathematics is lacking. Mathematical dispositions relate to student attitudes, the tendency to think and act positively in learning mathematics. One of the extracurricular activities that students are interested in is the Extrakurikuler Scout activities. Students are always eager to follow the activities in these activities. This means that the education system contained in the Boy Scouts is able to attract students' attention and be able to motivate students. Even when students are given difficult challenges, students seem to be passionate and happy to follow the challenge. This means students have a positive attitude in following Scout activities. This is certainly when applied in the learning of mathematics will be able to make students feel happy to attend math lessons. So that in the end can make students' mathematics learning outcomes for the better. Keyword: Math lesson, Scout, math disposision

Abstract

One of the theories developed in graph theory is the dominating set. Dominating set is a concept of determining the minimum point on the graph with the provision of a point as dominating set to reach the point that is around it. The smallest cardinality of the dominating set is called the domination number denoted by (G). Given graph G with point V and E side, let D be a subset of V. If each point of VD is adjacent at least one point from D, then D is said dominating set in graph G. Currently a lot of applications from dominating set, one of which is placement of product sales branches. The product used is " pie susu dhian", pie susu is one of the typical Balinese foods that many Bai people and tourists enjoy, so it requires sales outlets in many shops and spread evenly so that tourists can find this pie susu in various parts of Bali , however, it is necessary to minimize the production and placement of pie susu branches so that they can be sold well. In the research focused application Placement of Sales Branches Of “Pie Susu Dhian” In Bali In Dominating Sets Application Keywords: dominating set, pie susu dhian

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe how the process of using learning using Hot Potatoes Algebra Operations material for class VII students at Karangduren AL HIDAYAH Middle School. Then to find out the increase in the activity of students in algebraic surgery material by using Hot Potatoes media on class VII students at Karangduren AL HIDAYAH Middle School and to find out the increase in learning outcomes of algebraic surgery materials by using Hot Potatoes media in class VII students at AL HIDAYAH Middle School in 2018 / 2019. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using 2 cycles. Based on the results obtained from the percentage of student learning activities in learning cycle I was 82.81% with good categories and the second cycle was 89.06% with good categories. This shows an increase in student activity as much as 6.25%. The completeness of student learning outcomes in the prerequisite material obtained from the pre-cycle pretest was 66.66%. While the completeness of the results of the students in the first cycle reached 70.37% and experienced an increase in learning cycle II as much as 22.13% which obtained a percentage of 92.5% with a good category and has achieved classical completeness. However, in the second cycle, researchers conducted remedial so as to achieve 100% classical completeness. Keywords: Hot Potatoes, learning activities, learning outcomes

Abstract

The ability to crittical thinking skills can develop through the application of learning that gives students opportunities in developing critical thinking skills. One of them through the problems applied in learning Problem-based learning (PBL). This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This study aims to determine the learning process of PBL and the level of students' critical thinking ability to know the application of Problem-based learning (PBL) learning model. Based on the results of the analysis of the application of PBL runs well and smoothly. The presentation of students' critical thinking ability increases from cycle 1 to cycle 2 which provides basic explanation of 25% increase, kemambuan, basic skill building skills increased 25% and concluding ability increased by 8%.Keywords: Critical Thinking Skills, Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning

Abstract

Education can basically help humans to develop and improve their scientific knowledge, so they are able to deal with the changes that occur in their lives. In this study the researcher observed the class IX of Zainul Ulum Plus Middle School. The study aims to improve student creativity and completeness of students in learning statistical material with the Creative Learning Model Solving based on statistical ball props. The type of research used is classroom action research (CAR). The procedure used is a cycle model. Based on the results of the study, the level of creativity of students in the first cycle was 2.78, then in the second cycle the average level of creativity of students was 2.99 with the category of the level of creativity of good students. While the average student learning outcomes in the first cycle amounted to 77.16 with a percentage of classical completeness of 67% while in the second cycle obtained an average value of 92.75 with a percentage of 100% classical completeness. The average percentage of student learning activities in learning cycle I is 83% and in the second cycle is 86% with the category of good student learning activities. Keywoard: creative problem solving, statistic ball, student creativity
