Abstract

The plastic waste processing handicraft group is a group consisting of housewives who process waste or plastic waste into a handicraft product that has economic added value for group members. During its formation the group only produced handicraft products from used plastic bottles such as flower pots and wall hangings. The problems experienced by this group start from the production process, business management, and marketing. The results of the implementation through the community partnership program (CPM) the companion team provided solutions related to problems faced by partners, namely providing materials and training partners who have started using plastic plastic waste bags as handicraft products in the form of handbags, flower garlands, and flower fitting, as well as the availability of partners raw material providers that support production. Providing material as well as how to make financial reports, the result is that partners already have production and sales records, and know turnover. Partners are also given organizational training, as a result group members have already done work based on the given job. Providing material and training on how to market products, the result is that partners already have online marketing media in the form of Facebook and Instagram fanpages. Marketing partner networking, where partners already have product marketing partners, namely in stalls and stalls in the market.

Abstract

Activities of implementing research results for many audiences have been carried out in the form of socialization of the delivery of scientific knowledge material in the form of counseling and strengthening hygiene and health behavior for informal sector workers in order to remain productive during the situation and conditions of the 2019 Covid pandemic in Lasiana Kupang Ntt which have been carried out efficiently and carefully. . Community service method with the following stages: 1) planning and design of activities; 2) supply of materials as needed; 3) pre-implementation preparation and implementation of activities; 4) delivery of counseling materials and socialization of strengthening the character of hygiene and health behavior for informal sector workers to remain productive during the situation and conditions of the 2019 Covid pandemic in Lasiana, Kupang Ntt; 5) questions and answers and brainstorming and suggestions from implementers and target partners; 6) Field monitoring by monitoring supervisor; 7) results of evaluation from community partnership activities and 8) the final report of the activity. The output of this activity is knowledge and understanding for informal sector workers affected by Covid 2019, especially construction workers and temporary workers in Lasiana, Kupang city, to always carry out healthy patterns and behavior, especially clean and healthy living habits and provide humanitarian assistance in form of food needs, masks and hand sanitizer.

Abstract

Fishermen in the coastal area of Kebunrejo hamlet, Alasrejo village, Wongsorejo sub district, Banyuwangi district are traditional fishermen. The boat used is a small boat with a sail. Catching fish is carried out by fishing line which is stretched out with strings. Storage of catches using simple foam boxes. The use of sail has weather problems that cause the total fishing trip travel time to be ± 5 hours. The amount of travel time and a simple storage box causes the freshness of the fish to be not optimal and the selling value is relatively low. Community partnership program activities are carried out with the aim of increasing the income level of fishermen with the application of diesel engines with propellers. The partners are 4 (four) fishermen. Activities carried out by designing, manufacturing and using a 24 Hp diesel engine with 2 blades brass propeller as a replacement for the sail driving power. The results of the activity show that the partners get technical benefits including improvements to boat propulsion device, increased speed of movement of boats at sea, relatively low fuel needs and operating costs, and income opportunities from actors in sea fishing tourism.

Abstract

Ampel, a religious tourism destination, has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Covid-19 is a virus by SARS-CoV-2. Therefore, there is an impact on society. In particular, the need to meet and carry out activities in public places. Based on data from the Java Post, visitors to the Sunan Ampel Tomb have decreased by 90 percent, this occurs in the Sunan Ampel area which is only applied to a maximum of 50 percent of the available capacity. The object of activities is carried out in the environment around Ampel religious tourism. This activities uses observation, literature references and recovery program planning which is carried out offline and online. So, according to the hypothesis, the Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on the economic, education and tourism sectors, such as receiving unequal and inappropriate social assistance, the difficulty of accepting distance learning (PJJ), the provision of internet quotas that cannot be maximized, and the decreased enthusiasm of the community to travel to tourist attractions. In the end, it is hoped that the KKN program for the 41 Ampel sub-district groups which is carried out online and offline can help community activities to live healthier during the pandemic.

Abstract

This article is based on the Community Partnership Program (PKM) which seeks to solve the problems faced by Osing ethnic group, in this case MLY Milenial, from the aspects of preservation strategies and revitalization of traditional art of Lontar Yusup reading session called mocoan. The solutions offered by this program are the procurement of mocoan costumes based on traditional Osing fabrics, procurement of Lontar Yusup learning materials / books for Mocoan Lontar Yusup training, procurement of violin instruments for mocoan accompaniment, and Mocoan Lontar Yusup training for young people. The activities are in the form of procuring mocoan costumes based on traditional Osing fabrics, procuring materials / learning books for Lontar Yusup for Mocoan Lontar Yusup training, procuring violin instruments for mocoan accompaniment, and Mocoan Lontar Yusup training for young people while the team continuously doing mentoring during the period of the PKM program. The outputs are articles in journals and seminars, printed mass media publications, videos of activities implementation and increased partner empowerment.

Abstract

The high demand for competence in the world of the shipping industry today demands an increase in the skills of the Commercial Ship Engineering Study Program cadets, especially in the field of welding techniques. This indicates that Taruna's welding technique skills are still low. This Community Service Activity aims to improve welding technique skills and welding understanding for cadets. The Community Service Activity method uses the Competence-Based Training (CBT) Model, which combines theory, demonstration, and practicum. Evaluation is done by doing a pre-test, and post-test. CBT participants are 11th grade cadets of SMK Pelayaran Muhammadiyah 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta, with the expertise of Commercial Ship Engineering, with a total of 25 cadets. The results of the evaluation of Community Service were an increase of 60% in theory mastery, an increase of 64% in understanding demonstrations, and an increase of 84% in the skills of cadets in welding practice

Abstract

Right way to handle COVID-19 that can be done to fight the COVID-19 pandemic is to implement new normal adaptations so as not to get infected this disease. In addition to adapting new normals, it is also very important for COVID-19 vaccination to suppress then increasing number of cases. The aim of this health education is public can understand about the implementation and benefits of adapting new normals in the current new normal era and the importance of COVID-19 vaccination to prevent transmission of COVID-19 in the community. Problem solving uses lecture and simulation methods, as well as video, leaflets, and posters. The target of this activity is the community of Rumengkor Dua Village, Minahasa Regency. Result of this health education can increase the knowledge and skills of the community about adapting new normal up to 94.28%, as well as the willingness to vaccinate for COVID-19 increased to 94.29%. At the end of the activity, participants can adaptation of new normals, especially 5M, even participants were able to carry out the act of wearing masks and washing hands properly an correctly, and most of the participants were willing to be vaccinated. The application of adaptation to new normals in the community is an effort to prevent disease transmission, so it is necessary to carry out health education on an ongoing basis by health workers by involving all levels of society starting from village, health cadres, and the community.

Abstract

The midwives profession are expected to have an entrepreneurial spirit, therefore the Midwives Independent Services is one of the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that runs in generating profits to cover operational activities and career development. Every business cannot be separated from financial recording activities. This is a control in the progress of the business being carried out. Based on the results of interviews and observations, there are still many of them that do not carry out financial records properly according to SAK EMKM. Therefore, the impact that has been felt by them is ignorance of the services that have been carried out to generate profits or not. Based on these circumstances, it is necessary to have training and mentoring to improve The midwives financial literacy. The training and mentoring online activities were greeted with enthusiasm from the midwives who have a Midwives Independent Practice business in Sukasada District. The topic presented in the training activities was knowledge about midwifery in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0; Income Tax for Midwives; and Improving Midwives' Financial Literacy through the LAMIKRO Financial Application. The topic provided at mentoring sessions are the use of the LAMIKRO application; Introduction to Financial Transactions; Midwives Independent Practice Financial Case I; and Midwives Independent Practice Financial Case II. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test, there was an increase in the knowledge of the midwives after implementing the training. And based on the questionnaire distributed, the midwives who participated in the training and mentoring activities felt the benefits of this activity and wanted more intensive training for the next opportunity. The midwives also suggested the development of a more detailed financial transaction application specifically for their health service businesses.

Abstract

Average National Examination score in 2019 for Mathematics Study Program territory North Central Timor (TTU) was 31.15. This achievment is the lowest average score of the other exams, both at the level TTU district, NTT province, and Nationals. Low learning innovation and teacher creativity often become problems in learning mathematics. Some schools in TTU have average scores below the district average that is Biboki dan Insana selected and trained to utilize software GeoGebra. This training begins with an introduction about GeoGebra and followed by training to solve various mathematical problems using GeoGebra. Then the proses follow-up with distribution of GeoGebra tutorial videos and ongoing mentoring and guidance. After training, 52.38% of partisipants ready to use GeoGebra in their lessons.

Abstract

Stunting in general is a failure condition growth against children, caused by malnutrition in a long time. Milk has a good nutritional content and required by the body for the process of growth. In Indonesia, there are still many toddlers and children who do not consume milk that can cause stunting. It is influenced by the high milk prices in the market. To overcome the problem, soy milk can be a solution, because it contains a substance which is equivalent to cow's milk. The village Kutagandok is one of the villages stunting, which is located in Karawang District. Countermeasures carried out of the village to reduce stunting is the provision of soy milk to toddlers and kids. The process of the production of soy milk is made by the people of the village Kutagandok. But the thing is, there are still some obstacles in the production of, namely the limited human resources (HR) for the separation process soy beans with the skin's epidermis. So then it takes a HR more to make the production time to be shorter. In addition, the length of time filtering soy milk which resulted in easy casserole. The purpose of this service is to help the village of reducing stunting, by way of automation peeler soybeans from the epidermis and the filter tool to separate the soy milk with the dregs. Initially the process of the production of soy milk is used in a conventional manner. Furthermore, through this service uses the peeler semi-conventional. With the filter tool, then the time the production process is faster and quality is better.
