Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelagic country that has a diverse culture. Each island has its own history that has made their distinctive social norms and local beliefs grow stronger. As Indonesia is also a multicultural country, each part of the nation has its own specialty in its cuisine, way of living, habits, and thus created unique traditions through its culture. This factor has brought up the attention of the researcher to actually examine how the previous study in Indonesia’s culture has many relations towards the food itself mainly focusing on the appearance of the food, and the local’s culture to see how indigenous they are to expose the value of gastronomy as a concept of tourism. These 2 factors of local culture and local food seems to have brought Indonesia to a new exposure for its gastronomy Tourism worldwide. Not many countries have an exponential range of food types, with its many intriguing uses of ingredients that seems inviting for some people, who crave to explore for their belly, as well as to dive into the service experience in that particular destination. The study uses Literature review to examine how the past studies have revealed some of the important factors of local culture and local food in supporting the exposure of Indonesia's Gastronomy tourism. The descriptive analysis is used to explain more on the role of these 2 factors in enhancing gastronomy tourism. The result of these study shows that local culture and local food both act simultaneously giving a big role in influencing people to actually visit some destinations in Indonesia. The fascination of the people, the tradition and their cuisine that helped by the looks and the availability of surrounding raw materials has driven attention towards its own market and helped destination bring its own brand of Gastronomy tourism.

Abstract

Industri jasa penyediaan makanan dan minuman di Indonesia terdiri dari berbagai jenis sektor, yang dimana terdapat industri bakery.  Jenis sektor industry ini adalah jenis industry yang memiliki keunikan karena memiliki ciri khas terhadap citra rasa dan karakteristik bisnis yang berbeda-beda. Bahkan, sektor industry bakery saat ini sudah dapat ditemukan di berbagai titik pasar baik di perkotaan ataupun di daerah. Don Bakeshop adalah salah satu bakery yang terletak pada salah satu pusat perbelanjaan terbesar di Jakarta yaitu Mall Grand Indonesia. Bakery ini sudah berkembang dan memiliki beberapa cabang di Jakarta, Don Bakeshop menyajikan berbagai macam menu seperti croissant, eclair, choux, roti, donat, kue, kopi, dan teh. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh customer satisfaction dan brand image terhadap customer loyalty pada Don Bakeshop Mall Grand Indonesia Jakarta Pusat. Penelitian ini dimulai dari pengembangan dasar teoritis, penyebaran kuesioner, dan pengolahan data serta analisis hasil data. Penelitian ini berhasil menerima 195 responden yang berdomisili di Jabodetabek, Bedasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan terhadap 195 responden, ditemukan bahwa customer satisfaction memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan untuk mengunjungi Kembali Don Bakeshop. Hasil perolehan hipotesis brand image juga menunjukan adanya korelasi atau hubungan yang positif dan signifikan terhadap customer loyalty Don Bakery.

Abstract

Tourist satisfaction is essential for the sustainability of tourism activities at tourist attractions. Batu Cermin Cave is one of the attractions in Labuan Bajo. Batu Cermin Cave underwent renovations in 2021 and reopened in 2022. Since then, no studies have shown tourist satisfaction with the services and facilities at Batu Cermin Cave. Therefore, this research aims to determine the satisfaction level and develop strategies based on the level of tourist satisfaction. This research uses a mixed-method approach with an explanatory sequential design. Quantitative data collection uses accidental random sampling techniques with survey questionnaires and qualitative data uses observation techniques. The data collected came from 124 respondents. Data was analyzed using importance-performance analysis. In the Keep Good Work Quadrant, there were nine attributes: the appearance of the tour guide, speed of service of the tour guide or staff in serving visitors, the readiness of the tour guide or staff in serving visitors, timeliness of service, reliability in service, politeness and friendliness, patience in serving, area parking, and walking paths in the Batu Cermin Cave Area. In the Low Priority Quadrant, there are four attributes: work equipment for staff and tour guides in serving visitors, trash cans, information boards, and places to eat and drink. The Overkill Quadrant is an attribute of providing exceptional services for tourists and the road to Batu Cermin Cave. In the Top Priority quadrant, namely, security when visiting Batu Cermin, toilets, and road signs to Batu Cermin Cave. The priority development strategy is based on the attributes of the Top Priority quadrant are 1) increasing visitors' sense of security when carrying out tourism activities at Batu Cermin Cave, and 2) Improving the quality of supporting facilities such as toilets and road signs to Batu Cermin Cave..

Abstract

Tourism activities can be said to have existed since humans were on earth, where humans moved from one place to another. The meaning of tourism itself varies greatly according to the history and geography of movement behavior, because the behavior of moving places cannot be separated from various motivations or encouragement from within the human being himself. This study aims to measure the motivation for visiting tourists to the Baduy Tribe, Banten. The type of research used in this study is quantitative. Methods of data collection using questionnaires and observations. The total respondents in this study were 100 tourists who had visited the Inner Baduy Tribe with the sampling technique using Purposive Sampling. The analytical method used in this study uses simple linear regression analysis and descriptive statistical tests. Based on the results of the test of the coefficient of determination, the results obtained are that motivation influences the interest of visiting tourists by 40.2% and the rest is influenced by other variables. Based on the hypothesis test, it shows a significant value of 0.000, which means that motivation influences the interest in visiting tourists to the Baduy tribe.

Abstract

This research discusses the readiness of Christina Martha Tiahahu's literacy park as a new tourist attraction in Jakarta. Public spaces in this capital city have an aesthetic architectural design, so they can be used as Instagramable photo spots and are expected to become new tourist attractions in urban areas. However, to become a tourist destination, the facilities that are owned still need to be studied to see whether this park is ready to become a new tourist object or needs additional equipment so that it is expected to increase the attractiveness of visitors. This research was designed with a descriptive method, namely research that leads to the disclosure of existing facts. Data collection was in the form of a literature review and direct observation to see the facilities and infrastructure owned by Blok M Literacy Park. Looking at its development and field facts the Martha Christina Tiahahu Literacy Park is currently not just a park, but its function as a tourist destination that has recreational functions, educational functions, the interaction function. As an indicator of tourism development, the level of facilities and infrastructure of the Martha Christina Tiahahu Literacy Park as a new tourist attraction has reached 80%, which includes, objects, access, accommodation, facilities, transportation, catering services, recreational activities, communication, shopping, security, cleanliness, religious facilities, and sports facilities. What is not yet available is the banking system and educational facilities. However, from this readiness, this Literacy Park is capable enough to become a new tourist destination for the community.

Abstract

This research explores the disruption faced by Semanggi Surabaya, a legendary culinary icon, in the global era. Utilizing a qualitative case study approach with data triangulation, the study, from a nona helix perspective, aims to examine the viewpoints of various stakeholders regarding the exploration of Surabaya's culinary heritage, providing insights into preserving Semanggi. The findings acknowledge the declining trend and dynamic market shifts for Semanggi, highlighting the necessity for innovation in its conservation efforts. The study recommends leveraging information technology, optimizing marketing strategies, and reinforcing the unique values that define Semanggi Suroboyo to ensure its sustained legacy.

Abstract

Studi ini mengeksplorasi kelayakan pendirian Tacokuy, sebuah restoran cloud kitchen yang mengkhususkan diri dalam masakan Meksiko di Bandung, dalam situasi pandemi COVID-19. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai potensi pasar, mengidentifikasi segmen konsumen target, serta merumuskan strategi pemasaran yang efektif untuk mencapai kesuksesan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui studi survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebar kepada penduduk usia produktif di Bandung, dipilih melalui sampel purposif. Survei ini berfokus pada variabel pemasaran 8P, yaitu produk, harga, tempat, promosi, kemasan, pemrograman, orang, dan kerjasama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan potensi pasar yang menjanjikan, didukung oleh pertumbuhan populasi Bandung dan pengeluaran per kapita untuk makanan jadi dan minuman. Konsep cloud kitchen sejalan dengan tren peningkatan layanan pesan antar makanan secara daring di kota ini. Segmentasi pasar membantu mengidentifikasi calon konsumen yang memiliki preferensi terhadap masakan Meksiko, seperti taco, burrito, nachos, dan quesadillas. Studi ini memberikan wawasan berharga bagi pemilik restoran cloud kitchen, terutama dalam era pandemi saat ini, dengan menekankan strategi pemasaran yang efektif untuk menyesuaikan perilaku konsumen yang terus berkembang. Dengan memprioritaskan layanan pesan antar daring, Tacokuy dan bisnis serupa dapat beradaptasi dan berkembang di pasar makanan dan minuman yang kompetitif di Bandung.Kata Kunci: Bauran Pemasaran; Dapur Virtual, Kuliner Meksiko, Layanan Pesan Antar Makanan Daring

Abstract

Dalam industri jasa bidang perhotelan yang diberi label sebagai hospitality industry di dapatkan melalui akomodasi serta food and beverage service. Adanya kemajuan serta kemunduran pada perhotelan yang telah ditentukan dari kedua dalam unsur tersebut.penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah fenomenologi. Fenomenologi, sesuai dengan namanya, adalah ilmu (logos) mengenai sesuatu yang tampak (phenomenon). Lokasi yang digunakan selama penelitian ini berlangsung adalah di The 18th Restaurant di Trans Luxury Bandung. Informan dalam penelitian ini dari Industri. tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu: Menganalisis pengaruh peran kerja pramusaji The 18th Restaurant dalam meningkatkan pendapatan di Trans Luxury Hotel Bandung, Menganalisis pengaruh efisiensi kerja pramusaji The 18th Restaurant meningkatkan pendapatan di Trans Luxury Hotel Bandung. Peran kerja pramusaji The 18th Restaurant dalam meningkatkan pendapatan di Trans Luxury Hotel Bandung sangat berpengaruh karena menurut Supervisor The 18th Restaurant, pramusaji lah yang melakukan direct approach kepada para tamu di The 18th Restaurant, Semakin efisien seseorang dalam melakukan tugasnya maka dapat dipastikan akan membawa hasil yang memuaskan juga, begitu pula yang terjadi kepada para pramusaji The 18th Restaurant. Menurut supervisor The 18th Restaurant semakin baik atau efisien pramusaji dalam melakukan tugasnya maka keadaan yang tidak diinginkan pun kemungkinan besar tidak terjadi.

Abstract

Industri perhotelan merupakan salah satu sektor ekonomi yang mengalami pertumbuhan pesat seiring dengan meningkatnya mobilitas global dan pariwisata. Industri perhotelan juga menghadapi tantangan yang semakin kompleks, terutama terkait dengan isu-isu Cleanliness, Health, Safety, Environmental Sustainability (CHSE). Industri perhotelan menghadapi tantangan yang semakin kompleks dalam menjaga keseimbangan antara pertumbuhan ekonomi, perlindungan lingkungan, dan kesejahteraan sosial. CHSE merupakan kerangka kerja penting yang merangkul konsep kebersihan, kesehatan, keselamatan, dan keberlanjutan lingkungan, yang semakin diakui sebagai elemen integral dari operasi hotel dan villa yang sukses dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menganalisis implementasi Cleanliness, Health, Safety, Environmental Sustainability (CHSE) pada Villa Kemarang Banyuwangi dengan penekanan pada keberlanjutan. Melalui metode kualitatif, penelitian ini mendokumentasikan praktik CHSE yang umumnya diterapkan di sektor perhotelan khususnya pada Villa Kemarang dan dampaknya pada lingkungan dan masyarakat setempat. Industri perhotelan menghadapi tantangan dalam menjaga keseimbangan antara pertumbuhan ekonomi, perlindungan lingkungan, dan kesejahteraan sosial. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa praktik CHSE efektif yang diterapkan oleh Villa Kemarang dapat meningkatkan kualitas layanan, mengurangi dampak lingkungan, dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan karyawan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa praktik Cleanliness, Health, Safety, Environmental Sustainability (CHSE) pada Villa Kemarang Banyuwangi telah diimplementasikan secara luas dalam operasionalnya. Implikasi kebijakan dan rekomendasi praktis disajikan untuk memperkuat dan memperluas penerapan CHSE dalam industri perhotelan.

Abstract

Buton Island in Southeast Sulawesi is famous for its asphalt content, one of the asphalt mining sites that is rich in heritage tourism potential is in Winning Village, Buton Regency. This research aims to provide an overview of the activities that are still actively carried out in the mining area and also what heritage tourism potential exists in the asphalt mining area in Winning Village. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Primary data was collected through field observations and interviews while secondary data came from literature review and documentation. The mining activities currently still being carried out are asphalt mining activities, which are then processed into several stages to become smaller asphalt rocks ready to be sent through the Banabungi port in the Pasarwajo area. While the potential for heritage tourism in this area is in the form of a complex area of former offices, hospitals, and asphalt workers' settlements with the condition of buildings that are still standing and there has not been any change or renovation which has high historical value. The potential for heritage tourism attractions is very high, existing amenity is still very limited and accessibility is quite good.
