Salah satu poin penting dalam menjalankan fungsi Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi oleh dosen adalah melaksanakan penelitian dan mempublikasikan hasil pemikiran serta analisisnya tersebut. Kinerja dosen yang selanjutnya menjadi kinerja jurusan, fakultas dan perguruan tinggi sangat dipengaruhi oleh seberapa luas dan berkualitasnya publikasi para dosen tetapnya. Tuntutan publikasi yang dilakukan komunitas akademik Perguruan Tinggi memberikan dampak yang cukup besar terhadap kesadaran para dosen pentingnya melakukan kajian, penelitian serta menulis karya ilmiah. Perkembangan karya ilmiah di Indonesia relatif makin baik, terutama sejak diberlakukannya regulasi pemerintah, yang mewajibkan mahasiswa S1, S2 hingga S3 untuk menulis artikel di jurnal ilmiah sebagai salah satu prasyarat kelulusan. Dosen tentunya semakin besar tuntutannya untuk aktif menulis di jurnal ilmiah baik di tingkat nasional terakreditasi maupun jurnal internasional bereputasi.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah penerapan media dinding siswa kelas VII-2 SMP Negeri 7 Medan  Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019 yang Apakah  penerapan  media  dinding  dapat  meningkatkan hasil belajar pada materi tenis meja siswa kelas VII-2 SMP Negeri 7 Medan  Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019 ? Pendekatan penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan paradigma naturalistik-kualitatif yang mengacu pada kondisi lingkungan alamiah (natural), sebab mengkaji fenomena yang lebih banyak berasal dari setting/contexts alamiah yang berpengaruh dalam memberikan arti/pengertian. Pendekatan kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kemampuan pemahaman siswa dalam belajar penjas yang diukur dengan hasil jawaban siswa terhadap pertanyaan yang berhubungan dengan materi yang telah disampaikan dari setiap siklusnya mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan peningkatan rata-rata nilai siswa. Pada siklus I rata-rata siswa mencapai 66,82; pada siklus II mencapai 78,91. Di samping itu dilihat dari ketuntasan belajar siswa juga terjadi peningkatan dari 58,82% pada siklus 1 meningkat jadi 89,74% pada siklus ke II yang sekaligus menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran telah tuntas. Sesuai dengan penelitian ini, peneliti menyarankan kepada para guru pelajaran penjas khususnya, untuk memanfaatkan berbagai media, model, dan teknik pembelajaran. Dalam hal ini menggunakan media dinding khusunya materi tenis meja untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) Knowing the methods of habituation of Arabic to the students; 2) Know the supporting factors of Arabic; 3) Know the obstacles in the application of Arabic in PPM Taajussalaa. This research method uses qualitative descriptive. The results of this study showed that the implementation of muhadaroh, muhadasah, and mufrodat is very helpful in the process of applying Arabic in pesantren in accordance with the rules that have been taught to students. Abstract

This School Action Research (PTS) aims to prove scientifically whether in-house training (IHT) coaching and training can improve teacher competence in compiling Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) assessments. The method used in this study is the School Action Research (PTS) method. The study subjects were state elementary school teachers 136537 the Nibung Bay Of Tanjungbalai City, with the number of teachers as many as 8 (eight) people. The data collection techniques used are observation techniques, interviews. This research was conducted 2 cycles, namely the first cycle carried out by the guidance method, based on the above discussion there was an increase in teacher competence in compiling HOTS assessments. In cycle I the average value of the HOTS assessment component is 12.5%, in cycle II the average value of the HOTS assessment component becomes 100%, there is an increase of 87.5% and the success indicator is exceeded which is 78.00%. This means that through coaching and training can be.

Abstract

This research aims: 1) to find out the teacher's strategy in building interest in memorizing the Qur'an of students at It Junior High School Al-Munadi Medan; 2) to find out the obstacles and challenges faced by teachers in building the interest of students memorizing the Qur'an at Al-Munadi Medan IT Junior High School. This research method uses qualitative. The results showed that students' interest in memorizing the Qur'an has been very good by reaching 80% of students interested in memorizing the Qur'an. Because in realizing students who memorize the Qur'an and produce hafidz Al-Qur'an is the vision and mission of Al-Munadi IT Junior High School. The efforts made by teachers and students in increasing the interest and ability to memorize the Qur'an is actively and diligently in following the guidance of memorization of the Qur'an held by SMP IT Al-Munadi every morning

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to: 1) Find out about Imam Bukhori; 2) Knowing the position of the book of Al-Ilmu Shahih Bukhori by Imam Al-Bukhori in islamic studies; 3) Knowing the values of education is demanding knowledge in the book of Al-Ilmu Shahih Bukhori by Imam Al-Bukhori. This research method uses Library studies. The results showed that the journey of Imam Bukhari's life in demanding knowledge with an extraordinarily great memory possessed from childhood that made many people amazed and did not expect that greatness can be owned let alone he never showed or showed off his greatness to brag. Meanwhile, Imam Bukhari has also experienced the sadness of living as an orphan and has also experienced tremendous pain in his eyes to experience blindness and with Allah's permission his vision is healed again. The intelligence and greatness of Imam Bukhari with his memory does not always go well because in life.

Abstract

Abstract

This research is based on the following problems: (a) Does the Novick Model Learning have an effect on learning outcomes in Mathematics? (b) How high is the level of mastery of the subject matter of Subject Mathematics with the implementation of the Novick Model Learning method? The aims of this study are: (a) To reveal the effect of Novick's learning model on mathematics learning outcomes. (b) Want to know how far the understanding and mastery of the subject matter of the subject of Mathematics is after the implementation of the Novick Model Learning model. This research uses three cycles of action research. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: design, activities and observations, reflection, and revision. The target of this research is the students of Class X MIPA 4 MAN 3 Medan. The data obtained in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analysis it was found that student learning achievement has increased from cycle I to cycle III, namely, cycle I (62%), cycle II (78%), cycle III (96 %). The conclusion of this study is that the cooperative method of the Novick model can have a positive effect on the learning motivation of students in class X MIPA 4 MAN 3 Medan, and this learning model can be used as an alternative in learning mathematics.Mathematics, Quadratic Equations, Novick. Abstract

This research is motivated by the low motivation and learning outcomes of students in learning material Characteristics of land and water areas in Indonesia in class XI IPS-1 SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong. The purpose of this study is to increase student activity and learning outcomes by using powerpoint media based on the google classroom application. This study uses Classroom Action Research with a cycle consisting of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were students of class XI IPS-1 SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong Semester 1 of the Academic Year 2021/2022 with a total of 36 students. Techniques and data collection tools using test and non-test techniques (observation and documentation). The data analysis method in this study used qualitative data analysis. The results showed an increase in learning motivation from 9 students or 25.00% in the initial study to 24 students or 66.67% in the first cycle and 33 students or 91.67% in the last cycle. This is supported by an increase in the average initial study learning outcome of 56.11, in the first cycle the average score obtained by students is 72.50 and in the second cycle the average score obtained by students is 82.78 and is supported by an increase in complete learning in the initial state as many as 7 students (19.44%), in the first cycle increased to 19 students or 52.78% and in the second cycle increased back to 32 students or 88.89%. From the acquisition of the figures above, it can be concluded that in the second cycle, the process of implementing learning improvements was declared successful and complete in the second cycle

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the implementation of human resource management and efforts to improve the quality of teacher professionalism at SMP Negeri 24 Medan. This study uses a qualitative approach. Collecting data using interviews, observation, and documentation. As the subject of this research is the Deputy Head of Curriculum, and teachers. Data was collected through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. From the results of the study, it was found that the process of implementing human resource management functions in improving the quality of teacher professionalism, namely: 1). HR planning at SMP Negeri 24 Medan is good, one of the indications is that it is based on the government and is added by the independence of the principal. 2) Job analysis in the organization to determine the tasks, goals, skills, knowledge, and abilities needed for teachers. 3) Performance Assessment From the results of the improvement in the quality of workers and the work environment here. Improvements in the quality of workers and the work environment. 4) Achievement of the effectiveness of working relations in carrying out their respective duties and professions that have been determined by the Government. 5) Provide the motivation to support the performance of teachers In providing motivation is very important for teachers/educators and staff who take shelter in this school, especially the government system. 6) Enforcing Discipline on teacher performance Discipline is a function of human resources where human resources are very important, because the more disciplined the teachers are, the higher the achievement intended for this school. 7) Holding a meeting In holding this meeting in order to continue the mission and vision that exists in this school to improve the performance of teachers and employees so that in the process of running it, the goals that have been set are achieved. 8) Give rewards to educators and education staff in the form of awards for advancing this school. The conclusion that can be drawn from this research is that the implementation of human resource management has been carried out well and the existing programs are given to this school, but there are several efforts by the principal in improving teacher professionalism. the quality of teacher professionalism.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the principal's managerial strategy in improving teacher performance at SD Negeri 060900 Medan Johor District in the 2017/2018 academic year, which became the problem, namely how the principal's managerial ability in improving teacher performance at SD Negeri 060900 Medan Johor District in the 2017/School Year 2018. The research method used is descriptive research, this research was carried out at SD Negeri 060900, Medan Johor District. The time of the research was carried out from January to March 2018 data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study showed that the strategy carried out by the principal in improving the performance of teachers at SD Negeri 060900, Medan Johor Subdistrict, could be seen from the aspects of planning, organizing, implementing and supervising the principal in improving teacher performance, namely through the principal's strategy in binding teacher performance. the teachers there are good, orderly and disciplined in carrying out their duties such as being absent, entering class, and the principal involving teachers in various education and training, activating the MGMP forum, providing the necessary facilities and carrying out supervision, encouraging/directing it turns out to be effective. The principal's managerial ability in improving teacher performance is seen from the aspects of planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the principals whose results have not been maximized. Managerial principals in improving teacher performance have been carried out as planned but the results have not been as expected
