Salah satu poin penting dalam menjalankan fungsi Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi oleh dosen adalah melaksanakan penelitian dan mempublikasikan hasil pemikiran serta analisisnya tersebut. Kinerja dosen yang selanjutnya menjadi kinerja jurusan, fakultas dan perguruan tinggi sangat dipengaruhi oleh seberapa luas dan berkualitasnya publikasi para dosen tetapnya. Tuntutan publikasi yang dilakukan komunitas akademik Perguruan Tinggi memberikan dampak yang cukup besar terhadap kesadaran para dosen pentingnya melakukan kajian, penelitian serta menulis karya ilmiah. Perkembangan karya ilmiah di Indonesia relatif makin baik, terutama sejak diberlakukannya regulasi pemerintah, yang mewajibkan mahasiswa S1, S2 hingga S3 untuk menulis artikel di jurnal ilmiah sebagai salah satu prasyarat kelulusan. Dosen tentunya semakin besar tuntutannya untuk aktif menulis di jurnal ilmiah baik di tingkat nasional terakreditasi maupun jurnal internasional bereputasi.

Abstract

Abstract

Tujuan pelaksanaan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui penerapan Pembelajaran IPA Realistik dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Pesawat sederhana dikelas VIII SMP Negeri 7  Medan Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian tindakan (PTK) terdiri pra siklus dan 3 (tiga) siklus kelas. Lokasi penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 7  Medan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan tes hasil belajar siswa dan observasi yang dilakukan merupakan pengamatan terhadap seluruh kegiatan dan perubahan  yang terjadi pada saat dilakukannya pemberian tindakan, dan teknik analisis data dengan analisis deskriptif komparatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, setelah diberikan tindakan pada siklus I diperoleh ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal sebesar 25%, sedangkan pada tes hasil belajar II diperoleh ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal sebesar 68,75% atau meningkat sebesar 43,75% dari siklus I, dan pada tes hasil belajar III diperoleh ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal sebesar 87,50% atau meningkat sebesar 18,75% dari siklus II. Sehingga pendekatan IPA realistik pada materi Pesawat sederhana dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7  Medan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui pembelajaran realistik pada materi Pesawat Sederhana siswa–siswa di kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 7  Medan merasa antusias dalam belajar karena soal–soal yang diberikan adalah soal yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari–hari serta setiap siswa aktif dan bebas menentukan penyelesaian dari setiap soal sesuai dengan pemikiran masing–masing. Selanjutnya guru dan siswa menarik kesimpulan suatu rumusan konsep atau prinsip dari masalah yang dihadapi. Kata Kunci : Pembelajaran Realistik, Pesawat Sederhana, Hasil Belajar IPA

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil kemampuan menulis paragraf deskripsi siswa menggunakan media dengan gambar fotografi meningkat dan siswa mudah mengerti dalam pembelajaran Paragraf deskripsi. Adapun jenis penelitian yang digunakan oleh penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif Peneliti menggunakan desain ini dimaksudkan untuk menggambarkan tingkat “kemampuan Menulis Paragraf Deskripsi dengan Menggunakan Media Gambar Fotografi Pada Siswa Kelas VII-2 SMP Negeri 7 Medan” Tahun pembelajaran 2017/2018. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-2 SMP Negeri 7 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2017-2018 sebanyak 32 siswa. Sampel yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas VII-2 sebanyak 32 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data  yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes perbuatan dengan cara peneliti membuat tugas dalam bentuk deskripsi dalam waktu 60 menit dengan jumlah paragraf minimal 3 paragraf. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang terhadap kemampuan menulis paragraf deskripsi dengan menggunakan media gambar fotografi pada siswa SMP Negeri 7 Medan tahun pembelajaran 2017-2018, serta pembahasan masalah-masalah yang diperoleh, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa murid SMP Negeri 7 Medan dapat dengan baik menulis paragraf deskripsi dengan menggunakan media gambar fotografi. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata-rata kemampuan menulis paragraf deskripsi siswa mencapai 81,3. Presentase kemampuan menulis karangan deskripsi mencapai 75% (jumlah dan siswa yang berkemampuan sangat baik dengan berkemampuan baik, yakni 42,42 + 33,33 =75%). Sedangkan 27,27% adalah siswa dengan kemampuan cukup Hal ini berarti peserta didik memiliki kemampuan yang cukup dalam menulis paragraf deskripsi pada siswa SMP Negeri 7 Medan hanyalah 100%-27,27% hasilnya adalah 75% dengan kemampuan menulis 75% maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan menulis siswa baik. Kata Kunci : Media Gambar Fotografi, Menulis.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of television broadcasts on the learning achievement level of fifth grade SD Negeri 071162 Esiwa children. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 071162 Esiwa in January 2019 until the end of April 2019. The samples in this study were all students of Class V SD Negeri 071162 Esiwa with a total of 40 people. The independent variable of concern in this study is television, while the dependent variable is learning achievement. To obtain material in this study, the authors chose a data collection tool, namely a questionnaire. Data analysis used simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the product moment correlation test results showed that the effect of television shows had a positive and significant relationship to student achievement.

Abstract

 This study aims to determine: 1) The use of the Everyone is a teacher method can increase the activity of the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 137957 Kota Tanjungbalai; 2) The use of the Everyone is a teacher method can improve social studies learning achievement in grade V SD Negeri 137957 Kota Tanjungbalai. This type of research is PTK ata Classroom Action Research. Subject SD Negeri 137957 Kota Tanjungbalai. The results showed that the use of the everyone is a teacher type of active learning method can increase activeness. the results of the percentage of pre-action in the observed aspects had not reached ≥ 66.7%. In the first cycle there was an increase in each observed aspect, but it still did not reach ≥ 66.7%. In the second cycle there was an increase again in each observed aspect and it had reached ≥ 66.7%. The use of the everyone is a teacher type of active learning method can improve learning achievement. With the results of pre-action the percentage of completeness is 16.67% with an average of 48.66, there is an increase in the first cycle the percentage of completeness is 41.66% with an average of 64.38, and in the second cycle it has increased again with a percentage of 87.50 % and an average of 84.76.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning achievement of grade IV SD students. Negeri 137957 using KIT Media (MEKIT) and Experimental Methods (METEK) on the energy subject of science subjects. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research. The results showed that the average score of students during the Initial Test was 42.08 with learning completeness of 12.5%, but after taking action in the first cycle, the average learning outcomes were 57.91 where 10 students or 41 , 56% of students have reached the level of learning completeness (total value of 70), in the second cycle obtained an average student learning outcomes test of 84.25% where 24 students out of 24 students or 100% of students have reached the level of learning completeness total value 70). That the use of KIT media with the experimental method can improve students' reasoning to understand science lessons more easily and clearly because it is learned directly through experiments conducted by students themselves.

Abstract

The problems in this research are: 1) Teachers do not use varied methods, but still tend to use lecture and question and answer methods, so that student learning outcomes in Indonesian lessons are still low 2) Teachers do not use media or props in Indonesian language learning, so students are not active in the teaching and learning process 3) Students feel bored with Indonesian lessons. The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes in Indonesian language lessons on News Writing material using the Cooperative Script method in Class VIII-1 of SMP Negeri 2 Muara in the 2014/2015 academic year. The formulation of the problem in this research is Can it improve student learning outcomes in Indonesian language lessons on News Writing material using the Cooperative Script method for Class VIII-1 SMP Negeri 2 Muara in the 2018/2019 academic year? This type of research is classroom action research. In this study, the Cooperative Script Method is the main target. Applying the Cooperative Script Method in Indonesian language lessons on News Writing material can improve student learning outcomes in Class VIII-1 of SMP Negeri 2 Muara in the 2018/2019 academic year. The subjects of this study were 34 students of Class VIII-1, 11 boys and 23 girls. Formal objects using the Cooperative Script method in Indonesian language lessons at SMP Negeri 2 Muara for the 2018/2019 academic year. The results of the research at the time of the pre-test 5 students or 14.7% were complete and 29 students or 85.3% did not reach the completeness value of 34 students with a class average score of 47.64, the lowest score was 20 and the highest score is 80. In cycle I, the number of students who completed 19 students or 55.8% and 15 students who did not complete or equal to 44.2% with a class average score of 62.64, the lowest score was 40 and the highest score was 90. Meanwhile, in the second cycle the number of students who completed an increase was 31 students or 91.2% and 3 students who did not achieve the completeness score or 8.8% with an average score of 83.82, the lowest score was 50 and the highest score was 100. With Thus, it can be concluded that applying the Cooperative Script method can improve student learning outcomes in Indonesian language lessons on News Writing material in Class VIII-1 SMP Negeri 2 Muara for the 2018/2019 academic year

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesadaran siswa-siswi tentang pentingnya kemandirian pemiliharan karir di kelas IX-2 SMP Negeri 7 Medan sebelum dan setelah diberikan layanan informasi melalui teknik selfreflection dan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan layanan informasi  pada siswa kelas IX-2 SMP Negeri 7 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu apakah kemandirian pemilihan karir siswa ada peningkatan setelah diterapkan layanan informasi dengan teknik self reflection kelas IX-2SMP Negeri 7 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018.   Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksprimen atau percobaan (eksprimental research) dengan cara memberikan perlakuan berupa layanan informasi dengan teknik self reflection terhadap kemandirian pemilihan karir siswa. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa di Kelas IX-2 SMP Negeri 7 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 30 orang. Objek dalam penelitian ini yakni keseluruhan proses pembelajaran penerapan layanan informasi dengan teknik self reflection terhadap kemandirian pemilihan karir siswa kelas IX-2 SMP Negeri 7 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu : berupa angket kemandirian belajar siswa, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Berdasarakan hasil penelitian diperoleh Mo = 89,93 dan Mi = 87,5. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan Mo > Mi atau 89,93 > 87,5. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan kemandirian pemilihan karir pada siswa kelas IX-2 SMP Negeri 7 Medan setelah diberikan layanan informasi dengan teknik   self reflection cenderung tinggi. Hasil analisis deskriptif persentase diatas menunjukkan bahwa layanan informasi teknik self reflection dapat memberikan peningkatan terhadap kemandirian pemilihan karir siswa. Melalui pemberian layanan informasi teknik self reflection ini diharapkan dapat merubah kemandirian pemilihan karir siswa yang sebelumnya pada kategori cukup dapat menjadi baik dan siswa yang sebelumnya pada katagori cukup dapat menjadi baik dan siswa yang sebelumnya pada kategori baik dapat dijaga serta dipertahankan atau bahkan dapat menjadi sangat baik.

Abstract

Implementation of facilities and infrastructure planning in improving the quality of education in SMA Negeri 1 Serbajadi. This research uses qualitative methods. The subject in this study is the implementation of facilities and infrastructure planning in SMA Negeri 1 Serbajadi. The informants in the research are Teachers and Students. how to interview, observation, and documentation. Data validity techniques using data triangulation and source triangulation. Data analysis techniques using interactive methods, data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study note that (1) the implementation of facilities and infrastructure management in improving the quality of education in SMA Negeri 1 Serbajadi is carried out with Planning and Infrastructure Planning (Planning, namely a coordination meeting, determining the program, and determining the need for educational facilities and infrastructure. Organizing Facilities and Infrastructure (Organizing) covers the organizational structure of facilities and infrastructure management, division of job assignments/job descriptions, setting tools and practice materials, and organizing practical activities. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an increase in learning outcomes of Respiratory System Material Biology through the Think Pair Share (TPS) Type Cooperative Learning Model (TPS) class IX-2 SMP Negeri 7 Medan in the 2018–2019 academic year. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK). Classroom action research, namely Clasroom Action Research. The place of this research is SMP Negeri 7 Medan class IX-2 Semester II of the 2018/2019 academic year. Of the 33 students in the second cycle, 94% were declared complete, while 2 students had not yet experienced completeness with an average value of 87.33. Thus, in the second cycle the writer concludes that the students' scores have reached the KKM score. This research is stopped and there is no need to continue to the next cycle. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the Think Pair Share (TPS) Cooperative Learning Model has an effect on learning outcomes and there is an increase in the learning outcomes of students in class IX-2 SMP Negeri 7 Medan in the 2018/2019 Learning Year. Keywords: Think Pair Share (TPS) Type Learning Model, Learning Outcomes, Respiratory System.
