Abstract

This research is motivated by the absence of data showing the level of physicalfitness of state junior high school students and there has never been a test to measure the level of physical fitness of students of the State Junior High Schoolin Bosar Maligas District, Simalungun Regency. This study aims to determine the level of physical fitness of students of the State Middle School in Bosar Maligas District, Simalungun Regency. This research is quantitative descriptive.Data collection techniques used are tests and measurements. The population inthis study were all students of the State Middle School of Bosar Maligas Districtwith a total of 646 students. The sample in this study were students of the StateJunior High School of Bosar Maligas District with a total of 120 students taken20% of the total population. The instrument used in this study was by testing the multistage fitness test run test. The data analysis technique used is percentage descriptive analysis. Classified research data shows that the level of physical fitness of students who are in a very poor classification is 109 students (90.83%), 8 students (6.67%) classification is lacking, 3 students (2.5%) are quite good categories and 0 students (0%) classified as good, very good or special. It can be concluded that the level of physical fitness of the students of the State Junior High School in the Bosar Maligas District of Simalungun Regency is in the very less category.

Abstract

This research is aims to describe how free throw can be release by IKOR UNESAs boy basketball team successfully in biomechanics terms.   This research method is descriptive analysis. It takes 5 research subjects. This research divided into 2 process which is the first take a data ( videos ) to the subject athletes of basketball and the second is analysis using dartfish software. This study is divided into two processes, namely the first retrieval of data (video) on the subject of IKOR UNESAs boy basketball team and the second is the analysis using software dartfish.             The results showed that the first research subject in the first and second shooting of the ball did not enter the ring because the throw angle was too large and the initial speed was less, whereas. The research subjects of the two male basketball athletes IKOR UNESA in the first and second shooting of the ball did not enter the ring because the throwing angle was too small and the initial speed was lacking. into the ring due to the right throwing angle and the effective maximum height of the ball. The research subject was the fifth male basketball athlete IKOR UNESA, the ball entered the ring on all three shooting experiments carried out, due to the right throw angle and effective maximum ball height.

Abstract

The development of Physical Education/ PE learning media that can be accessed widely by students, shortening waiting times and increasing hours of active moving/ learning time is an urgent needed by primary and secondary education PE teachers in Buleleng-Bali Regency. This study aims to develop learning media PE fitness activities for primary and secondary education. This development research refers to the development model of Borg and Gall. This research was conducted in 5 elementary schools, 2 junior high schools and 2 high schools in Buleleng Regency, involving 219 students. The results of the study show that at the time of the small group trials, there were 95.76% (68 students) of the students who were positive about the motion cards for the fitness activities of the PE, thus at the time of the large group trials, 96.70% (151 students) had positive opinions. According to students, this motion card displays images, writing and motion tasks that are clear, easy and safe to carry, easy to hold and not heavy held by students. The conclusion of this study is that motion cards for PE fitness activities can be implemented in primary and secondary education.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) evaluate Palembang PELTI tennis coaching program, 2) evaluate PELTI management, athletes, coaches and assistant coaches, facilities and infrastructure, and government support for Palembang's tennis development program, 3) evaluate the selection of coaches and athletes, fostering athletes, training programs, evaluating the PELTI work program and coordinating the tennis coaching program of the city of Palembang, and 4) evaluating the success of the Palembang tennis development program. This study is a program evaluation study using the CIPP method using a qualitative approach. The population of this study was tennis athletes in Palembang. Data collection techniques are observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and data triangulation. This study produces 1) good Context, 2) Sufficient Input 3) Sufficient Process 4) Sufficient Product. This study concludes that 1) Development Program that is not clear from PELTI in improving athlete performance, 2) Input of PELTI development program is still lacking in the process of selecting athletes, coaches, assistant coaches and minimal funding from the government, 3) Process training program that is not going well, the health of athletes, coaches and assistant coaches who are not guaranteed by the government and there is no special transportation for athletes, 4) Product Program PELTI Coaching has not been able to show results at the national level with real data and facts in the field.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interval training on physical endurance in futsal extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 6 Palembang. This research is an experimental study with the design of quasi experimental design of nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were 60 people, and the sample in this study was the same as the population, so this study was also referred to as population research. The sampling technique in this study used a systematic sampling technique with an ordinal pairing system, in which samples were divided into two groups, the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group were given interval training treatment while the control group is the group that is not treated. The instrument used in this research is multistage fitness test (mft) or called a bleef test. This test is used in the initial test (pretest) and final test (posttest) which aims to determine the level of predictions of the VO2Max of students, obtained findings from this research is the results of the average VO2Max experimental group at pretest were 34.0 and posttest 39.5, and the results of the control group VO2Max at pretest were 33.8 and posttest 34.0. Then, after testing the results of the data analyzed using statistical data analysis techniques t test with a significant level (α = 0.05). Based on the results of the research tcount = 16,05 and ttable = 1.675. Therefore the hypothesis in this study received is that there is an effect of interval training on physical endurance in futsal extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 6 Palembang.Key words: Interval training, physical endurance, futsal, students.

Abstract

Speed and agility are two important components in sports. Both are commonly used to indicate an athlete's physical fitness in training. Therefore, special training is needed to improve speed and agility. Exercise is an activity that is carried out repeatedly to achieve better physical, mental, and psychological enhancement. The type of exercise used varies for each physical condition that needs to be improved. This study examined the use of 40-yard sprint and A-movement exercise to improve speed and agility. The research design is a quasi- experimental study with participants consist of 30 male students of SMAN 1 Banyuwangi, aged 16-18 years old, who are members of futsal extracurricular club. The training program was conducted for 6 weeks with a frequency of 3 meetings every Sunday. The obtained results of statistical calculations were normal and homogeneous data. Calculation of the effect test with α = 5% obtained significance values of 0.00 for speed and 0.004 for agility. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the 40-yard sprint and A-movement exercise combined are effective to improve speed and agility. Further research is suggested to find out which type of exercise is better at increasing speed and agility.

Abstract

Sumenep Regency is known for its diverse cultures, one of which is Ojhung. Ojhung is the ritual performed as a request for rain. Ojhung is the art of fighting by hitting and fending off opponents using rattan guided by referees. Ojhung traditional art has the potential to be developed into cultural-based sport tourism, which combines sports activities with the strength of Ojhung traditional art. In line with the tourism sector which is the flagship in Sumenep. Evident from the inauguration of Sumenep as œSoul of Madura. This research aims to describe the development strategies of Ojhung tourism based on sport tourism in Sumenep Regency. This study used qualitative method. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews, and literature studies. Data analyzed used SWOT, EFAS, and IFAS analysis. The data validity checking technique uses triangulation. Ojhung can be develop to be sport tourism in Sumenep Regency because it has a tourist attraction, based on the criteria among others: the ritual of request for rain and Ojhung competition, which visitors can participate in the Ojhung competition.

Abstract

Exercise is a systematic and programmed process which carried out repeatedly with gradual loads for specific purposes such as increased agility, speed and cardiovascular endurance. HIIT is an exercise that uses high intensity with a training load above the anaerobic threshold in a short time with a resting time of 1: 2 (30 seconds: 60 seconds). The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the training methods of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) on agility, speed, and cardiovascular endurance. The type of research is quantitative with quasi experimental method using matching-only design and data analysis using t-test. This study was conducted at 20 students of the basketball team of Mawar Sharon Junior High School. The data was collected by pre-test and post-test of agility test using a squat thrust test, speed test using a 30 m run test and cardiovascular endurance test using Multistage Fitness Test (MFT). The results found that there was a significant increase in agility, speed, and cardiovascular of 14.3%, 5.2%, and 5.3%, respectively. In conclusion, HIIT training methods sessions can be used for increasing agility, speed, and cardiovascular endurance.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to analyze (a) anthropometric factor as multivariant regression model to predict the serves velocities of elite tennis player that compete in US Open Grandslam 2019. The athropometric factor was describe as, player height, player weight, age, and the Body Mass Index (BMI) of player. (b) this study also determind the significant level from the model to predict the serves speed. The data were collected from MATCH DETAILS BY IBM SLAMTRACKER. Results show that correlation between each independent variable (i.e, age, height, weight, BMI) to serves speed of the player respectively are -0.0094, 0.7457, 0.7135, and 0.1944. The data show us that variable Height and Weight have the most correlated predictors of tennis serves speed. More over the correlation level (R2 ) from the model was 0.5767 or 57.67 % it indicates that the model can predict 57.67% the dependent variable, i.e serve speed and the other 42.33% was determind by the other factor not included in model. The present finding underlines the importance of player height and weight to determind the serves speed of the players that play in US Open Grandslam Tournament 2019.

Abstract

Karate merupakan suatu tindakan pertunjukan, selama pertempuran dengan intensitas tinggi. Faktor kelelahan otot menjadi dampak yang negatif terhadap kualitas pertandingan dalam olahraga karate. Tendangan mae geri ialah teknik yang sering dilakukan dalam penyerangan. Oleh karena itu tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruh kelelahan otot (muscle fatigue) terhadap performa tendangan mae geri karateka UKM Karate UPI. 10 orang anggota UKM Karate yang berpartisipan dalam penelitian ini. Desain penelitian ini adalah one group pretest-posttest design. Dimana sampel melakuka test awal dan test akhir dengan diberi perlakuan kelelahan otot dengan tes leg press. Dimana hasil rata-rata power maksimal tes awal dan tes akhir mengalami penurunan nilai rata-rata dari hasil sebelumnya 1850.2 menjadi 1247.8 dan uji paired dengan nilai sig 0.003 < 0.05. Hal ini berindikasi bahwa kelelahan memberikan dampak negatife terhadap performa tendangan mae geri. Kemudian terdapat dampak negatif terhadap gerak tubuh ketika melakukan tendangan mae geri hal tersebut dilihat dari nilai sudut angakatan ekplosif lutut dengan (p) 0.006 < 0.05 dan sudut dorongan panggul (p) 0.020 < 0.05. Artinya terdapat dampak yang negatif terhadap gerak tubuh melakukan tendangan mae geri ketika dalam kelelahan otot.
