Abstract

Anemia is still considered as a serious health problem worldwide that requires large attention. Anemia does not only have an impact on health but also affect student achievement. This study aims to identify the prevalence of anemia among female university students in Surabaya and its relationship to academic achievement. This is an observational analytic study with cross-sectional design, involving 92 respondents who were selected using a consecutive sampling method. Data collected by using a questionnaire to obtain respondent characteristics, grade point average (GPA), and menstrual patterns. The measurement of hemoglobin levels carried out using the cyanmethemoglobin method. The results showed that the prevalence of anemia among female students was still quite high and there was a significant relationship between the incidence of anemia and students’ academic achievement measured by grade point average. Female students are one of the groups that are susceptible to anemia, so it is essential to make various efforts to improve Hb levels by increasing the intake of foods high in iron.

Abstract

COVID-19 affects various aspects of life including the continuity of physical activity in various countries. One of the impacts most felt by the community is the existence of social restrictions that make people tend to experience a decrease in physical activity during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to identify the motivation of the community in carrying out physical activities in the community in Gresik district. This type of research is descriptive quantitative using survey method. The research sample was 212 people with an age range of 17-55 years. The data collection technique used a motivation for physical activity and motivation for exercise/workout questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that the motivation of the community to do physical activity during the COVID-19 pandemic in the majority of men is in the sufficient category, which is 86 (74.1%) and the majority of women are in a good category, which is 30 (14.2%). Furthermore, the indicator of the intrinsic motivation factor of the community doing physical activity is mostly influenced by pleasure, namely 91.3% for men and 93.75% for women, while the majority of extrinsic motivation factors are influenced by the environment, namely 79.3% for men and 72.9 for women.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the training transitions and dietary habits of volleyball athletes' before and during Ramadan in the Covid-19 pandemic. The research design used is descriptive quantitative with a sample of 12 male junior volleyball athletes in the academy Sidoarjo volleyball. The results showed that most athletes experienced a decrease in the frequency of exercise during the month of Ramadan, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 33.3% of athletes maintained their exercise frequency, and 66.7% experienced a decrease in exercise frequency. Furthermore, during Ramadan and Covid-19, there was an increase in the frequency of eating 1-2 times a day (58.4%), snack consumption (50%), fruit and vegetables (75%), fried foods 4-7 times a week (8.4%), instant noodles 1-3 times a week (25%) and fast food 1-3 times a week (8.4%) in athletes. Concerning this, it is imperative to revitalize the program and monitor the athlete's training periodically, which is adjusted to the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic and provide a dietitian to regulate the athlete's diet to obtain a balanced nutritional intake following the exercise portion.Assessmen transisi latihan dan pola makan atlet sebelum dan saat ramadan di masa pandemi Covid-19AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi transisi latihan dan pola makan atlet bola voli sebelum dan saat ramadan di masa pandemi Covid-19. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif dengan sampel 12 atlet laki-laki bola voli junior yang masih aktif dalam menjalani pemusatan latihan di Akademi Bola Voli Indomaret Sidoarjo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas atlet mengalami penurunan frekuensi latihan saat ramadan khususnya di masa pandemi covid-19. Sebanyak 33,3% yang mampu mempertahankan frekuensi latihan dan 66,7% mengalami penurunan frekuensi latihan. Selanjutnya, saat ramadan dan Covid-19 terjadi peningkatan frekuensi makan 1-2 sehari (58,4%), konsumsi camilan (50%), buah dan sayuran (75%), gorengan 4 – 7 kali dalam seminggu (8,4%), mie instant 1 – 3 kali dalam satu minggu (25%)  serta makanan cepat saji  1 – 3 kali dalam seminggu (8,4%) pada atlet. Berdasarkan hal ini, maka sangat penting untuk melakukan revitalisasi program dan pemantauan latihan atlet secara berkala yang disesuaikan dengan masa pandemi covid-19 dan menyediakan dietisien untuk pengaturan makan atlet agar dapat memperoleh asupan gizi seimbang sesuai dengan porsi latihannya.

Abstract

The effectiveness of implementing Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan, a new program of introduction to teaching internship, for PE students, is still questionable, starting from its impact on teaching skills, learning effectiveness, and students' teaching load. Meanwhile, this point is significant in Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). For this reason, this analytic study will criticize MBKM by providing evidence of the effectiveness of existing internships in the form of teaching skills, learning effectiveness, and students' teaching load. A total of 32 students were selected using consecutive sampling. Teaching skills were measured by observing 12 indicators and learning effectiveness was measured using Formative Class Evaluation (FCE) instrument. Anova Repeated Measure was used to analyse the data. The results show that the new program of introduction to teaching internship is not practical, proved by the progressive improvement of teaching skills followed by the ineffectiveness of the learning process. Students feel they have an overload teaching schedule, so that self-development activities are minimal, even though the tutor teachers have guided optimally. It can be concluded that the new program of introduction to teaching internship is less effective because of the overload teaching schedule in such limited time. It is then expected that the longer internship duration would enrich students' experiences under supervision and more comprehensive teaching load regulation.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of imagery training and concentration on the reaction time of students taking fencing extracurricular activities. It was a quasi-experimental research using quantitative approach. A total of 15 respondents were classified into 3 groups, which were control (K) and two experimental groups. Students in experimental groups were given imagery training (E1) and concentration training (E2) for six weeks and reaction times were measured using Electronic Fencing Target-1 (EFT-1) before and after the exercise was given. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistic using paired t-test and Anova one way, and significance level was set at p=0.05. The results found that the imagery and concentration training had a positive impact on the decrease of reaction time, with significance values of 0.008 and 0.005, respectively. From these results it can be concluded that imagery and concentration exercises can help players to improve their reaction time, so that fencers can react quickly to every movement. OPTIMALISASI WAKTU REAKSI MELALUI LATIHAN IMAGERY DAN KONSENTRASI DALAM OLAHRAGA ANGGAR AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan imagery dan konsentrasi terhadap kecepatan waktu reaksi pada siswa yang mengikuti ekstrakulikuler anggar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sebanyak 15 orang responden dikelompokkan menjadi 3 kelompok, yaitu satu kelompok kontrol (K) dan dua kelompok eksperimen yang diberi latihan imagery (E1) dan latihan konsentrasi (E2). Latihan dilakukan selama enam minggu dan waktu reaksi diukur sebelum dan sesudah latihan diberikan menggunakan Electronic Fencing Target-1 (EFT-1). Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan uji paired t-test dan Anova one way, dengan nilai signifikan ditetapkan sebesar 0.05. Hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa latihan imagery dan konsentrasi yang diberikan kepada responden memberikan dampak positif terhadap penurunan waktu reaksi, dengan nilai signifikansi secara berturut-turut sebesar 0.008 dan 0.005. Dari hasil ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa latihan imagery dan konsentrasi dapat membantu pemain untuk meningkatkan kemampuan reaksi, sehingga pemain anggar dapat bereaksi dengan cepat terhadap setiap gerakan.

Abstract

The purpose of this development research is to improve physical fitness in the Physical Education learning process. The development of the traditional sports game model "Bentengan" is carried out in several stages: needs analysis, product manufacturing, evaluation and validation, phase I trials, product revisions, phase II trials, stage 2 product revisions (last revision). The subjects of this study were fourth grade students of MI from Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Maduran sub-district, Lamongan Regency (MIM 10 Gedangan, MIM 1 Pangkatrejo, MI NU Pangkatrejo, and MI Al-Islamiyah Parengan). Expert validation was carried out by two experts. The first phase of the experiment was carried out on 25 students with 1 PJOK teacher and the second stage test was carried out by 71 students with 3 PJOK teachers. The process of collecting data using a questionnaire. This data consists of evaluations for product quality, suggestions for product improvement, and student responses to game models. The result of this research is the product development model of the game "Bentengan" which is packaged in the form of a book to support learning activities and instructions for implementing the game. Based on data from trial results (small group) and field trials (large group), there were no revisions made by researchers on products that had been developed because the percentage of product development reached 89.53% cognitive aspects with very good categories, 90.39% affective aspects with very good category, and 88.13% psychomotor aspects with very good category, so it is feasible to use. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the result of this research is that the product development model of the game "Bentengan" in Penjasorkes learning can be used to improve physical fitness for grade IV Madrasah Ibtidahiyah in Maduran District, Lamongan Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh pelatihan ladder drill chimney jump terhadap daya ledak, kelincahan, dan keseimbangan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksprimen semu. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan matching onlyPre test – post test, Proses pengambilan data dilakukan dengan tes daya ledak menggunakan Jump DF, tes kelincahan dengan menggunakan Agilty T-test, dan tes keseimbangan denggan menggunakan Stork Stand pada saat pre test dan post test. Selanjutnya data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan bantuan SPSS seri 16.0. Program latihan ladder drill chimney jump dilakukan selama 6 minggu dengan intensitas 60% - 80% dan meningkat sesuai program setiap 2 minggu dengan 3 set, dan waktu istirahat selama 2 menit antar set. Berdasarkan uji statistik Persentase peningkatan daya ledak sebesar 8,5%, kelincahan sebesar 1,8% , dan keseimbangan sebesar 7,9% pada latihan ladder drill chimney jump dan terdapat perbendaan pengaruh yang bermakna terhadap kelompok lain (p < 0,05).

Abstract

Physical education is an important part of developing students' interests and talents in schools. Teachers must have a strategy for learners. This research aims to analyze the implementation of the inquiry learning method and group investigation on participation and critical thinking of students. This research was quasi-experiment by using two group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this research were 51 eighth grade students of SMPN 4 Pamekasan. The data collection was carried out using questionnaires and students’ activity assessment sheets. Furthermore, the data analysis was carried out univariate by using the SPSS application. The results of this study in group 1 with the inquiry learning method showed an average increase in student participation by 5%, and critical thinking by 8.8%. Furthermore, the group investigation method in group 2 showed an average increase in student participation by 7.3% and critical thinking by 15.2%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui metode yang tepat peningkatan fisik kelincahan, daya tahan dan power otot tungkai pemain klub fajar FC yang mengalami penurunan prestasi. tiga puluh siswa sepakbola sehat dipilih sesuai dengan kriteria dan dilakukan pre test dan pemeringkatan sehingga masuk dalam pengelompokan trapping, hight jump dan kelompok kontrol. Jump MD, Ilinois test dan BEEP test digunakan untuk mengukur peningkatan kinerja. Kedua kelompok berpartisipasi dalam penelitian tiga hari dalam seminggu selama enam minggu dan menyelesaikan 18 sesi pelatihan, pada frekuensi 3 sesi per minggu. Hasil uji paired sample t-test dalam kelompok trapping menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan pada variabel power dan kelincahan, kelompok hight jump menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan pada variabel power.  Disimpulkan dari penelitian ini bahwa latihan trapping dan hight jump efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan ekstremitas bawah.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan sebuah produk kartu pengukuran kompetensi siswa SD pada pembelajaran PJOK di Kecamatan Banyuwangi Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Produk ini dikembangkan dengan tujuan untuk membantu guru PJOK didalam melakukan evaluasi pembelajaran. Produk ini merupakan sebuah instrumen penilaian hasil belajar siswa yang mencakup kompetensi sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang dikemas dalam sebuah produk kartu pengukuran kompetensi siswa. Penelitian ini mengacu pada desian penelitian pengembangan (research and development) dari Borg and Gall (1983, p.775). Teknik analisis datanya menggunakan teknik prosentase. Hasil analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa guru PJOK SD di Kecamatan BanyuwanKabupaten Banyuwangi setuju dan mau memanfaatkan produk kartu pengukuran kompetensi siswa. Berdasarkan data hasil vaidasi produk oleh ahli evaluasi pembelajaran PJOK diperoleh skor 91,82% sehingga produk dikategorikan valid dan produk dapat diuji cobakan. Hasil uji coba yang telah peneliti lakukan, rata-rata prosentase hasil uji coba lapangan I sebesar 82,77% dan pada uji coba lapangan II sebesar 86,66%.
