Abstract

This research aims to describe about deconstruction of Cinderella tale in Intan Paramaditha’s shortstory “Perempuan Buta tanpa Ibu Jari”. The theory used in this research is Derrida’s deconstruction by using the concept of metaphysical binary oposition to find and identify contradictions inside the text. The result of this research shows that a work can be intended more than one way based on many point of views. Same like in this research that the one who become antagonist can changed into protagonist by seeing of many chances that presented by the author.

Abstract

Pragmatic deficits are language imperfections caused by many factors. One of the factors causing a person to experience language imperfection is a medical factor. This study focused on (1) schizophrenic speech deficits, (2) deficits of external deixis (ecofora) schizophrenic speech, (3) deficit of schizophrenic conversation structure, (4) deficits of schizophrenic speech relevance, and (5) therapeutic against the pragmatic deficit of schizophrenic speech. This research is formulated and illustrated based on the actual phrase of speech found in linguistic facts as found in actual language usage, so that the research of this language is descriptive qualitative. The subject of this study is schizophrenic case study of patients in RSU Meniran Surabaya named Yt. The data in this research is a speech obtained through recording, transcription, reduction, classification and interpretation so as to produce a description of the focus that has been proposed. In the results of this study indicated that (1) Yt experience imperfections in acts of speech representative, directive, expressive, commissive, and declarative; (2) Yt experiencing imperfections in referring to a matter related to space, persona, and time; (3) Yt experiencing imperfections in understanding the structure of the conversation in the form of turning, overlap, and adjacency pairs; (4) Yt experiencing imperfections of revealing speech; (5) therapeutic helps restore the thought disorder suffered by Yt.

Abstract

This study aims to prove that leaders are not always able to interfere with the personal rights of their members through the hegemony of Nyai Suku in the last generation drama by Gepeng Nugroho. To answer these problems, the Gramshi Hegemony theory is used through a sociological approach. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive form. The data source of this research is the Final Generation drama by Gepeng Nugroho. Data collection techniques are carried out by central study and note it. Data analysis was done by hermeneutic method. The results of this research show that the form of hegemony of Nyai Suku character is in the form of planting new beliefs covertly through the speeches he delivered, habituation through his teachings to communal to answer compactly with sentences that show as if they were strong people, and coercion by giving lashing to its communal members violate the rules.

Abstract

The readability text in book “Bahasa Indonesia Wahana Pengetahuan” first revision (BIWPrp) in the Curriculum book 2013 had never been researched before reviewable from text quality and reader knowledge, besides that the text was very important in learning proceeding based on curriculum 2013. Because, the text Indonesian was model text for any subject. Therefore, it must be analyzed the level of readability text of  book. This research diversiformed quantity-quality with descriptive method. Moreover, there were research result. First, the level of readability text was easy, 88%, based on the traits of effective sentence. Second, the level of readability text was difficult, 15%, based on the early knowledge of reader about the topic text. Third, the level of readability text was suitable for 7, 8, and 9 grades. Fourth, the level of readability text was difficult, 13%, based on the vocabularies control what clouted by the languagetion knowledge of VII grade student.

Abstract

Text book is one of important instruments in successful learning. Ministry of Education and Culture published standard textbook. Readability’s textbook must compatible with student’s capability and psychology. Fry’s graph is the best readability measuring tool for textbook. Aim of this research is to descibe readability’s Indonesian textbooks of Junior and Senior High School curriculum 2013 published by Ministry of Education and Cultural 2014. The kind of this research is literature study. The data collection used documentation technique. The result of this reseach is (1) the readability of Indonesian textbook for seventh grader is not suitable for target student because 20 of 33 texts is not suitable for seventh grader student based on Fry’s graph, (2) the readability of Indonesian textbook for eighth grader is suitable for target student because 17 of 22 texts is suitable for eighth grader student based on Fry’s graph, (3) the readability of Indonesian textbook for tenth grader is not suitable for target student because 18 of 23 texts is not suitable for tenth grader student based on Fry’s graph, (4) the readability of Indonesian textbook for eleventh grader first semester is not suitable for target student because 9 of 10 texts is not suitable for eleventh grader student based on Fry’s graph, and (5) the readability of Indonesian textbook for eleventh grader second semester curriculum 2013 is not suitable for target student because 14 of 22 texts is not suitable for seventh grader student based on Fry’s graph.

Abstract

This research explores the representation of hijab woman in the ads of Rejoice X Fatin: aku #Hijabisa. Employing relevance theory and qualitative research methods, this research focuses on (1) the speaker meaning which is presented in the ads of Rejoice X Fatin: Aku #Hijabisa (2) the representation of hijab woman in the ads of Rejoice X Fatin: Aku #Hijabisa. Findings in this research are: first the speaker’s meaning of utterance in this ad is hijab woman can take care of her body with this product and can do various activities without obstacle. Second, representations of young hijab woman are active, productive, and religious.

Abstract

Penggunaan bahasa sebagai alat komunikasi menjadi fenomena menarik dalam masyarakat tutur bahasa Indonesia. Hal itu karena proses komunikasi dalam masyarakat tidak hanya berlangsung dalam satu bahasa melainkan lebih dari satu bahasa dan menyebabkan bahasa-bahasa tersebut dalam keadaan saling mempengaruhi. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh kontak antar bahasa. terjadinya kontak bahasa sering kali menghasilkan campur kode. Penelitian ini mengkaji fenomena campur kode dalam acara My Trip My Adventure. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan rancangan penelitian kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini yaitu segmen tutur pembawa acara dan jawaban yang terdapat dalam angket pembawa acara serta angket penonton acara My Trip My Adventure. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik dokumentasi dan angket. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat bentuk campur kode yang berupa kata dan frasa. Kata dan frasa yang teridentifikasi campur kode tersebut berasal dari bahasa Inggris, bahasa Minang, bahasa Mandarin, dan bahasa Sunda. Campur kode yang terdapat pada acara My Trip My Adventure sebagian memiliki padanan dan tidak memiliki padanan. Faktor yang melatarbelakangi terjadinya campur kode tersebut diantaranya penguasaan bahasa, kepopuleran bahasa, penyesuaian lawan bicara, dan keterbatasan ungkapan. Campur kode tersebut juga menimbulkan persepsi pro dan kontra yang dirasakan oleh penonton acara My Trip My Adventure.

Abstract

The writing lesson is actually very important given to the students to practice using the language actively. Our school in general is rather ignorant of writing lessons. The theoretical test material can lead to the motivation of the language teacher to teach the composing material only to be able to answer the exam questions, while the skill aspect is ignored. In addition to the above matters, it is assumed that some teachers who consider the authoring assignment given to the student are too burdensome or the task is too much for the student, so he feels sorry for the heavy burden to his students. Based on the above explanation, the researcher would like to try to do research with the title "Increase Learning Achievement of Indonesian Language Writing with Guided Learning Methods on Grade VII Students of Junior High School Saint Yosef Surbaya".

Abstract

The article examines Dinullah Rayes's poem "Pohon Peradaban" taken from the anthology of his poem entitled Bulan di Pucuk Embun (2011). The poem is one of Dinullah Rayes's poems which uses many natural symbols, such as trees, roots, moon, sun, leaves, flowers, maggots and so on. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods and uses the semiotic theory proposed by Riffaterre, that is by doing heuristic reading, hermeneutic or retroactive reading and determining the matrix of the poem. The results of the study show that we must keep this friendly culture belonging to our nation so that it does not disappear. We must also maintain character and friendship in order to stay alive in peace.

Abstract

The character of Mona and Lisa have different personalities, it is caused by a different upbringing. At the time of their child more interested in learning and ego they appear in extracurricular basketball. Future development of the children learn to get pleasure and satisfaction of completing a task, especially academic assignments that make children proud of the achievements gained, development of a child is very different depending on the education of the parents. It can be seen in the characters development and the Mona Lisa is in the Small Small-Have Work (KKPK) entitled Monalisa. The method used the descriptive analysis. Data collection techniques, carried out by step reading of KKPK Monalisa work Ayla from beginning to ahir repeatedly, Marking the page KKPK "Monalisa", Typing all the existing data in KKPK "Monalisa" according to the study of psychology literature, it leads to the development children adopted by Norman H. Erikson.
