Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak fungsional tentang keberadaan tanaman mangrove, terhadap abrasi yang terjadi di sepanjang sisi utara Kabupaten Tuban Pengikisan pantai bertambah parah seiring dengan bertambahnya bermacam-macam aktifitas warga dan keberadaan Industri di beberapa wilayah sisi utara Kabupaten Tuban. Pada sektor budidaya perikanan banyak para pelaku usaha budidaya yang menutup tambaknya karena pohon bakau yang berfungsi sebagai penangkal arus air laut hilang ditebang secara liar. Metode yang digunakan adalah survey dengan kuisioner, metode Sistem Informasi Geografis (GIS) digunakan untuk membaca peta topografi tentang pergeseran garis pantai. Analisis data menggunakan semantic diferensial. Sumber data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan sekunder. Pengumpulan data primer diperoleh langsung didaerah penelitian dengan cara wawancara menggunakan kuisioner dan observasi (pengamatan). Observasi dimaksudkan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang lokasi, keadaan lingkungan kawasan hutan mangrove, wawancara dilakukan untuk mendapatkan keterangan dan informasi secara lisan dari responden mengenai karakteristik, pola pemanfaatan, dan peran serta masyarakat dalam pengelolaan potensi hutan mangrove sesuai dengan pertanyaan yang diajukan. Data sekunder berupa data kondisi hutan mangrove, keadaan demografi dan geografi, serta keberadaan sarana dan prasarana yang terkait dengan pengelolaan tanaman mangrove yang diperoleh dari lembaga dan instansi yang terkait. Adapun manfaat dari penanaman kembali mangrove-magrove adalah untuk memperbaiki ekosistem yang sudah rusak, memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat sekitar lokasi konservasi pada khususnya dan masyarakat Tuban pada umumnya. Dampak positif yang timbul secara fungsional yaitu menjaga garis pantai, menjaga ekosistem pantai yang merupakan tempat hidup berbagai macam biota laut. Hasil kuisioner dampak keberadaan tanaman mangrove secara fungsional menunjukkan rata-rata 6,05 artinya berdampak positif bagi masyarakat dan lingkungan. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa perlu dilakukan sosialisasi/penyuluhan, pembinaan dalam pemanfaatan tanaman mangrove secara serius dengan dukungan dari pemerintah daerah melalui Dinas yang terkait. Kata kunci :Abrasi, Mangrove, Dampak Fungsional This study aims to analyze the functional impact of the existence of mangroves, on the abrasion that occurs along the northern side of Tuban Regency. The erosion of the coast has worsened along with the increase in various activities of citizens and the existence of the Industry in some areas of the northern side of Tuban Regency. In the aquaculture sector, many aquaculture businessmen closed their ponds because mangroves that functioned as an antidote to the flow of lost sea water were felled wildly. The method used is a questionnaire survey, the Geographic Information System (GIS) method is used to read topographic maps about shoreline shifts. Data analysis uses semantic differential. Sources of data collected in this study are primary and secondary data. Primary data collection was obtained directly in the study area by means of interviews using questionnaires and observations. Observations are intended to obtain an overview of the location, environmental conditions of the mangrove forest area, interviews are conducted to obtain information and information orally from respondents regarding the characteristics, patterns of utilization, and the role of the community in managing the potential of mangrove forests according to the questions asked. Secondary data in the form of data on the condition of mangrove forests, demographic and geographic conditions, and the presence of facilities and infrastructure related to the management of mangroves obtained from relevant institutions and agencies. The benefits of replanting mangroves are to improve damaged ecosystems, have a positive impact on communities around conservation areas in particular and the people of Tuban in general. The positive impacts that arise functionally are guarding the coastline, safeguarding the coastal ecosystem which is the place of life for various kinds of marine biota. The results of the questionnaire on the impact of functional mangroves showing an average of 6.05 means that they have a positive impact on the community and the environment. So it can be concluded that it is necessary to conduct socialization / counseling, fostering the use of mangrove plants seriously with support from the local government through the relevant agency. Keywords: Abrasion, Mangrove, Functional Impact

Abstract

The experiment to determine the best salinity on media for the efficiency of use of Catfish (Clarias gariepinus) strain Sangkuriang’sfeed and growth. Laboratory experimental was used with various salinity variable were: 0 ‰ (as control), 1 ‰, 2 ‰, 3 ‰, 4 ‰ and 5 ‰ with 3 repetitions for each. 3% for fish weight feeding on twice a day at 8.00 am and 6.00 pm. The result of this research showed that cultured at plastic pond media with different salinity do not have an effects (p > 0,05) to feeding efficiency and daily growth rate of Sangkuriang’s strain of lele dumbo (Clarias gariepinus var.), but it has a significant effect (p<0,01) to absolute biomassa growth, feeding conversion and survival rate. Cultured Sangkuriang’s lele dumbo in plastic pond could be efficiently conducted at media’s salinity up to 5 ‰, but by significant notice at frequency, type and nutritional composition of feeding and also controlling the water quality. The most appropriate optimal salinity value, based from growth of compensation for the rearing of consumption size, is 4 ppm. The water quality showed on supporting life of lele dumbo lele’s cultured in plastic pond.Keyword: Feed, Growth, Sangkuriang’s catfish, salinity, Plastic pond

Abstract

Tumbuhan algae jenis ABSTRAK Chlorophyta membutuhkan cahaya untuk proses fotosintesis yang terjadi secara kimia dengan memanfatkan cahaya matahari sebagai sumber energi. Proses tersebut akan menghasilkan oksigen yang akan digunakan sebagai fototrop. Chlorophyta mampu mensintesa makanan sendiri dengan bantuan cahaya matahari karena adanya klorofil (G; :sen Algae). Algae ini juga menggunakan korbondioksida dan air untuk menghasikan gula dan oksigen yang diperlukan sebagai makanan. Komposisi dari algae di perairan dipengaruhi oleh cahaya dan temperatur air, dan ada simbiosis dengan beberapa anemone, tetapi tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara anemon dan chlorophyta yang hidup bersama di dasarpada kondisi air yang rusak.Kata kunci: cahaya chlorophyta sinrbiosis

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan plastik LDPE sebagai pelapis dasar tambak udang vanamei terhadap pertumbuhan udang vanamei dan kualitas air tambak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan membandingkan hasil produksi dan kualitas air dari tambak dengan pelapis LDPE dan tambak dengan dasar tanah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pertumbuhan udang vanamei di tambak dengan lapis LDPE pada DOC 84, MBW mencapai 16,4, SR 92,9%, FCR 1,04. Tambak dengan dasar tanah pada DOC yang sama MBW hanya mencapai 13,8 g, SR 43,9% dan FCR mencapai 1,7. Beberapa parameter kualitas air yang menunjukkan perbedaan diantaranya adalah densitas pytoplankton, DO, dam NH3.Kata kunci : udang vanamei, tambak plastik LDPE, pertumbuhan

Abstract

Tilapia fish (Oreochromis niloticus) is one of freshwater commodities gained big attentionfrom governments abd obsevers of world fisheries issues, especially related to raising nutritients in countries – developing countries. The succes of Tilapias related to environment healthy and fish disease caused by bacteria. One of bacteria found in aquatic ecosystems is Escherichia coli. This research has a purpose to know there are Escherichia coli at Tilapia fish cultivation and to know the existence of contamination from cultivation media. This research is done on February 24th until March 6th, 2015. The research used sample purposive sampling, sample was taken at three fishpond locations, there was slamaran and Degayu. Then, sample was analyzed at Laboratory testing and Quality Control of Fishery Product ( LPPMHP), Pekalongan City. The research result show that Escherichia coli content in first fishpond is 3,6 MPN/gr, second fishpond is 9,4 MPN/gr and the last fishpond is 9,3 MPN/gr. Another side, Escherichia coli content of meat Tilapias is less than 3 MPN/gr for each cultivation, either in Slamaran or Degayu. It is stated that the content of E.coli in the pond water does not contaminate tilapia fish. Tilapia fish is safe for consumption.Keywords : Escherichia coli, fishpond, Tilapia fish

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of immersion clove leaf extract against hatching of fish eggs Mas. The experiment was conducted on January 31 -5 in February 2017, at the Laboratory of Fish Seed (BBI) Sojomerto, District Reban, Batang. The study was conducted based on completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications. Parameters measured were hatchability of eggs of fish Mas Treatments were differences in dose soaking leaf extract Clove on fish eggs Mas, namely A (0 ppt), B (5 ppt), C (7 ppt), D (9 ppt), and E (11 ppt). To determine the effect of treatment on the hatchability of eggs. All data was proceed on analysis of variance. Result showed the highest hatching value reached on immerson clove leaf extract at a dose of 9 ppt, around 98,89%. Respectively, a dose of 7 ppt in the amount of 88,89%, 11 ppt reached up 82,22%, 5 ppt of 61,11% and the lowest value on 0 ppt, which is equal tp 17,78%. Water quality in the range of feasible Ph 6-7, temperature 22-240C, and DO 4.32 -5.7ppm.Keywords: Clove Leaf Extract, carp (Cyprinus carpio L.), hatching rate

Abstract

Program pemberdayaan wanita nelayan desa pesisir Pantai Baron Kemadang Gunung Kidul kurang menyentuh kepentingan wanita nelayan, karena minimnya perguliran dana dan  pendampingan, padahal organisasi kelompok wanita nelayan memainkan perannya dalam memotivasi anggotanyamerencanakan kegiatan pengembangan usaha dan memajukan pemasaran serta pemupukan permodalan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan implementasi program pemberdayaan wanita nelayan di Desa Kemadang berjalan cukup baik. Hal ini ditunjukan dari ketersediaan kelompok sasaran yakni wanita nelayan yang memberikan respon positif terhadap sosialisasi program, pelatihan dan perguliran modal serta pendampingan berkelanjutan yang dilaksanakan. Penguatan modal melalui kelompok-kelompok kecil mampu meminimalisir kebiasaan wanita nelayan berhutang pada tengkulak atau rentenir. Di sisi lain, program ini terdapat kekurangan dari sisi pendampingan yang kurang meugacu pada kebutuhan lokal dan konsep pembangunan berkelanjutan.Kata kunci : pemberdayaan, wanita, pesisir

Abstract

Vaname shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) was kind of shrimp that cultivating by globally. Vaname shrimp has an euryhaline character or able to live on wide salinity. At low salinity watery, the availibility of minerals is too low. This research has to analized using dolomite as pellet for moulting period of vaname shrimp. This research was use sample survey method or field survey, and analyzing descriptively. The value of research shows that adding dolomite at vaname shrimp’s feed could help moulting proccess and growth faster. Growth data in pond 1 shows that MBW is 16,39 g with size 61 and pond 2 MBW is 13,7 g with size 72. Difference result in Mean Body Weight (MBW) is 2,69 g and size difference on 11. Water quality take effect on osmoregulation and metabolic rate.Keywords : Vaname shrimp, dolomite, moulting, growth, water quality

Abstract

Milkfish with high protein content has potential as the raw material of HPI and HPI review of the fish has not been implemented. This study aims to determine the effect of the concentration of the enzyme papain to the quality of the protein hydrolyzate of fresh milkfish (Chanos Chanos Forsskal). This study was conducted laboratory experimentally. The trial design used in this study was complete random design to analyze the effect of papain enzyme concentrations (4%, 5%, and 6%) toward the quality of protein hydrolyzate of milkfish. Protein hydrolyzate of milkfish could be produced by enzymatic hydrolysis using papain enzyme. The observed parameters were the yield and the proximate level (level of protein, fat, water, and ash). Type of enzyme and concentration had significant effect toward the proximate level of protein, fat, water, and yield, but not significant toward the level of ash. The optimal condition to hydrolyze milkfish flesh into protein hydrolyzate was by using papain enzyme with concentration of 5% (b/v). Keyword: Milkfish, hydrolyzate of protein, enzyme papain

Abstract

Dumbo catfish (Clarias gariepinus) Sangkuriang strain is the consumption of freshwater fish that is much favored by many people, because its high nutrition and low price. The high price of feed and the low efficiency of feed utilization are an obstacle in the development of African catfish cultivation.  The purpose of this study was to determine the use of agricultural product wastes such as corn flour, wheat, soybean meal, curry and chicken eggs that have been made as pellet feed containing 32.58% protein, with the addition of probiotics (A) and without the addition of probiotics (B) on the efficiency of feed utilization, growth and survival of African catfish (C. gariepinus).This study used an experimental method by designed through a completely randomized design (CRD) with two treatments and each of three replications, respectively. The test fish seed used was African catfish (C. gariepinus) with an average weight of 2.04 ± 0.05 g and an initial density of 350 tails / m2 of pond area with a culture period during 60 days. The results of this study that self-made feed with material from agricultural wastes were sufficient to provide the results of the value of feed utilization efficiency (FUE) of  84.10 ± 1.83%, feed conversion ratio (FCR) of 1.03 ± 0.02, and survival rate (SR)of  95.79 ± 0.16%. The addition of probiotics to self-made feed with raw materials from agricultural wastes had a significant effect (p <0.05) to produce feed utilization efficiency (FUE)of 99.56 ± 5.64%, feed conversion ratio (FCR)of  0, 88 ± 0.04, relative growth rate (RGR) of 14.77 ± 0.66% / day, and the survival rate (SR) of  98.92 ± 0.29%, which has a higher value than feeding without probiotics.
