Abstract

This study aims to develop an Android-based application to assist users, particularly young mothers, in cooking and learning various food and cake recipes. The application is designed to integrate traditional and modern recipes, providing an efficient platform for sharing recipes and interacting with the cooking community. Utilizing Flutter and Dart, this application offers rapid cross-platform development at a low cost, featuring a responsive and interactive user interface. The research was conducted at Rumah Makan Segar in Sidoarjo, employing data collection methods such as observation, interviews, and user surveys. The data was analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively to evaluate user satisfaction and understand the perspectives of restaurant management and staff. The implementation results indicate that the application successfully creates an attractive and functional interface, supporting users in their cooking activities through features like culinary trend updates, a cooking community, and efficient recipe management. This application is expected to provide an effective solution for those looking to improve their cooking skills and explore various types of food recipes.

Abstract

This research aims to build a Decision Support System (SPK) for the selection of prospective librarians at the Indonesian Business Polytechnic using the ARAS (Additive Ratio Assessment) method. In the era of globalization and advances in information technology, the need for competent librarians is increasingly urgent. The SPK developed aims to assess prospective librarians objectively based on various criteria such as GPA, age, work experience, psychological test scores and interview scores. This research collected data from 10 prospective librarians and applied the ARAS method to normalize and calculate the value of each alternative. The research results show that the best alternative is A1 with a value of 0.94780, followed by A6 and A7 with a value of 0.91508 and 0.87145 respectively. The application of the ARAS method in this SPK provides selection results that are more transparent, objective and efficient, and supports a better decision-making process in the context of librarian selection.

Abstract

In the era of continuing globalization, technological progress is increasingly rapid and motivates people to compete in creating the latest breakthroughs. In this digitalization era, many innovations have emerged that can be maximized in everyday life, one of which is maximizing the Internet of Things with the Telegram application which can controlled via NodeMCU, which is an IoT-based open-source microcontroller that offers extraordinary flexibility and NodeMCU acts as a microcontroller that allows management of electronic devices, connected to Telegram bots operated by programmed software. In the research above, the author used the SDLC approach with the Waterfall method. This research discusses the development of controlling electronic devices with nodemcu via telegram bots as well as knowing the measurement of electrical power consumption when using them. The conclusion of this research shows that building a controller to control IoT-based electronic devices using an Android smartphone provides significant benefits. With this system, users can control devices remotely and at any time without having to approach a physical switch, very useful especially in multi-story buildings. Apart from that, this system also allows real-time measurement of electrical energy consumption, allowing users to monitor power consumption on electronic devices via Telegram bots

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and design an accounting information system for sales and purchases at UD Adi Putra, a trading business specializing in building materials that currently relies on manual recording. The method used is the prototype method, which includes system requirements identification, system design, prototype development, evaluation and improvement, and finalization of the prototype. The results show that the current manual system leads to calculation errors, lost receipts, and inaccurate reports. The proposed system includes the design of flowcharts, Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), and a more effective database design. Evaluation through beta testing indicates that the new system prototype is user-friendly and meets user needs, significantly enhancing the company's operational efficiency and accuracy.

Abstract

The level of motorbike theft cases in Sorong Regency is quite high, it is known that in 2022 there will be around 91 cases. The factors that cause motorbike theft can be identified from economic, environmental, educational and individual background factors. The perpetrators of theft always have reasons behind the theft, including seeking profit, fulfilling needs, and there are also those who do it because of the opportunity. Extreme Programing (EP) is a simple software development method and includes one of the agile methods pioneered by Kent Beck, Ron Jeffries, and Ward Cunningham. The reason the author uses this method is because of the nature of the application which is developed quickly through stages including Planning, Design, Coding, and Testing. Meanwhile, the testing method used is the Blackbox Testing method. From the results of application testing and usability testing, the researcher carried out Usability Testing calculations, the interpretation score obtained was more than 60% with the statement AGREE, where the highest score was 71.4% with the statement STRONGLY AGREE, so it can be concluded that the creation of an information system application Android based is in accordance with what the user wants

Abstract

Royal Prima Hospital faces challenges in managing its drug inventory. Each month, the available quantity of drugs remains the same without considering the actual needs, based only on the amount of drugs sold. As a result, there is often an excess of drug stock, leading to reduced shelf life, lower drug prices, and unsatisfactory patient service. This situation is certainly detrimental to the hospital. To help hospital management reduce errors in forecasting drug sales, the Double Exponential Smoothing forecasting method with an alpha of 0.6 was applied, as the sales data show a trend. This method provides a solution that can be used to predict the number of drugs that will be sold in both the short and long term with a high level of accuracy. The forecasting results produced a Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 791.64, a Mean Square Error (MSE) of 17,887,289,511.31, and a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 0.78%. Thus, hospital management can manage drug inventory more efficiently and reduce wastage. This study offers significant benefits by providing a more accurate approach to forecasting drug sales.

Abstract

The increasing public awareness in using beauty products as part of their lifestyle has gone hand in hand with the increasing public views on these products which are often expressed through reviews on social media platforms. This research reviews the use of the Support Vector Machine algorithm to classify sentiment towards the use of moisturizer on Application X. This research was conducted to obtain information on people’s responses to various moisturizer products that are spreading in the community. The data used in this study were 50,868 opinion tweets, 35,565 tweets were used as training data and 15,303 tweets were used as test data. In sentiment labeling using the TextBlob library. The classification result using Support Vector Machine get accuracy value of 98%, the highest confusion matrix of 98%, the highest recall value of 100%, and an f1-score value of 99%.

Abstract

Kefamenanu City is located in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province, precisely in North Central Timor Regency, this city borders land directly with the State of Timor Leste. The population density level in Kefamenanu city is relatively lower when compared to other regions in NTT, but by looking at the fact that most of the area is dominated by dry land and the increase in population growth rate that always increases every year, then in terms of providing land for housing locations will be a challenge for the TTU Regency Government. Determining the location of houses requires consideration of various aspects such as water availability, disaster vulnerability, public facilities, distance from trade centers, road conditions, transportation facilities, and land prices. This research aims to develop a Geographic Information System (GIS) that provides information related to disaster-prone areas and is equipped with a Decision Support System (SPK) using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. SAW method is used to help people in choosing housing locations based on the criteria they have. The results show that this system is effective in providing information and supporting decision making on housing locations that are safer and more comfortable, and can minimize potential disasters. In conclusion, the proposed system can be a valuable tool for local governments and communities in planning housing development in disaster-prone areas.

Abstract

This research aims to design and analyze a computerized sales information system at PT. Era Winon Inter Agdev Medan, a company distributing pesticides, fertilizers, and seeds. Currently, the company's sales system is not integrated, causing operational control difficulties and delays in providing managerial information. Using the STRADIS method, this research involves an initial organizational study, analysis of the existing system, and design of alternative solutions using DFD diagrams. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and document studies. The results include a new system design featuring various input, search, and report forms that can process sales data in real-time, accelerate information processing, and improve accuracy in strategic decision-making. The implementation of this system has proven to enhance operational efficiency, facilitate inventory and receivables management, and improve customer service quality. Overall, the computerized sales information system significantly contributes to PT. Era Winon Inter Agdev Medan's competitive advantage in the market.

Abstract

Malnutrition is a disease whose incidence in Indonesia is increasing. Based on data from West Java Province, in 2019-2022 there were 1,986,890 toddlers who experienced nutritional problems. This high figure shows that the problem of malnutrition has not received adequate attention. This research will group districts and cities in West Java into three clusters. Cluster 1 (high), cluster 2 (medium), and cluster 3 (low) are based on the number of toddlers affected by malnutrition. It is hoped that this research can help the government in making decisions to overcome nutritional problems in West Java. The results of research on clustering cases of malnutrition in West Java using the K-Means algorithm include 3 clusters, Cluster 1 (high) which consists of 16 city districts. Cluster 2 (medium) consists of 10 city districts, Cluster 3 (low), while in the K-Medoids algorithm Cluster 1 (high) consists of 10 city districts. Cluster 2 (medium) consists of 4 city districts. Cluster 3 (low) consists of 13 districts and cities. The comparison results show that the K-Means algorithm is better using 3 clusters based on evaluation using the Silhouette Coefficient with a value of 0.617
