Abstract

It has been investigated about Electron Spin Resonance spectra of Sour-sop Leaves (Annona muricata L) extract compound from Kupang distric. The aim of this research is to determine the amplitude response and sensitivity of sour-sop leaves extract compound to X-ray radiation. In this research, sour-sop leaves extract compound is obtained by maceration extraction method using n-Hexane and ethanol pro analysis solvent, then its extract is evaporated. Furthermore, it is conducted annealing process to obtain its powder. Samples of sour-sop leaves extract compound were weighed 0.2 grams then be irradiated with X-rays voltage of 70 kV - 85 kV at RSU Prof. W.Z. Yohanes Kupang. The dose rate were obtained in this research is from 8,69 x 10-8 Gy/hour to 9,91 x 10-8 Gy/hour. Subsequently, these samples was calibrated using an Electron Spin Resonance Spectroscopi in Physics Laboratory, Science and Technique Faculty - Nusa Cendana University . Based on research data analysis result, amplitude response and sensitivity of sour-sop leaves extract are obtained 9,45 Volt/kg - 10,8 Volt/kg and 9,20 x 10 -9 Gy.kg/h.Volt - 9,22 x 10 -9 Gy.kg/h.Volt respectively. Amplitude response of sour-sop leaves extract compound is linear to the absorbtion dose rate and its sensitivity is relatively constant to dose rate. Based on amplitude response and sensitivity value, sour-sop leaves extract compound is potential to use as an alternative active material in dosimeter for medical radiography purposes. Keywords : Sour-sop leaves, amplitude response, sensitivity, medical radiography

Abstract

Literacy is believed to contribute plenty of benefits to both students and community helping them understand problems more clearly. One way to develop literacy is through building up reading habit. The border community, residing the border of Indonesia and Timor Leste, badly needs the literacy development both conceptually and feasibly through some practical techniques. One of the methods offered here is Mind Mapping. Mind mapping method gave benefits for users effectively and efficiently when they had implemented it simultaneously. People could write and took main issues from materials studied and kept long term. This activity was targeted at the OKL Street Library community or users that comprised students and volunteers who actively interacted at the OKL Street Library reading Venue. The aim to be achieved, was the enhancement of students and volunteers’ knowledge and skills towards a concept or a learning material in a more creatively, innovatively and participatorily by utilizing the mind mapping method. Students were also given a couple of books to increase their literacy culture. Such activity was carried out with the coordination of OKL Street Library, in terms of problems identification, determining the problem focus and for the mind mapping practiced and also books sharing which was collectively implemented by the team-work. Every students, volunteers and OKL SL founder felt happy and got benetif of these activities included understanding mind mapping and created point of view about how to maintain home and class freshly. The students modified it to state daily habits to be successed in their hobbies in future. We were looking forward to having more such activities or other development activities specially for lower primary students at OKL SL to help them enhance literacy competence that could benefit the whole community.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian identifikasi air tanah di wilayah pesisir Kolbano yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menentukan kedalaman air tanah di lokasi penelitian. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode geolistrik dengan konfigurasi Schlumberger. Data yang diperoleh di lokasi penelitian diolah menggunakan software Res2dinv untuk mendapatkan nilai resistivitas batuan di lapangan. Hasil inversi menunjukkan nilai resistivitas batuan terukur pada 3 lintasan yaitu 17,1-27,626 Ωm. Berdasarkan nilai resistivitas yang diperoleh, diasumsikan terdapat 3 jenis lapisan batuan di lapangan, yaitu lempung dengan resistivitas (10-100) Ωm dan aluvium dengan resistivitas (101–800 Ωm) dan batugamping (101–27.626 Ωm). Potensi batuan sebagai batuan akuifer adalah alluvium. Air tanah yang tersimpan di batuan aluvium terletak pada kedalaman (12-20 m). Research on groundwater identification in the coastal area of Kolbano has been carried out, which aims to determine and determine the depth of groundwater at the research location. The method used is the geoelectric method with a Schlumberger configuration. The data obtained at the research location were processed using res2dinv software to obtain the rock resistivity value in the field. The inversion results show the measured rock resistivity value on 3 measurement line, namely 17.1-27.626 Ωm Based on the resistivity value obtained, it is assumed that there are 3 types of rock layers in the field, consisting of clay with resistivity (10-100 Ωm) and alluvium with resistivity (101-800 Ωm) and limestone (101-27.626Ωm). Rocks Potential as aquifer rocks is alluvium. Groundwater stored in alluvium rocks lies at a depth (12-20 m).

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian dengan metode geomagnet untuk mengetahui struktur batuan bawah permukaan sekitar Pantai Kolbano, Desa Kolbano, Kabupaten Timor Tengah Selatan. Daerah penelitian memiliki luas 1000 m2 dengan 99 titik ukur. Proses akusisi data dengan sistem looping menggunakan alat Proton Prosession Magnetometer (PPM) tipe GSM-19T. Data yang diperoleh di lapangan berupa nilai medan magnet total. Penentuan posisi titik ukur menggunakan Global Positioning Sistem (GPS). Pengolahan data diawali dengan koreksi variasi harian dan koreksi IGRF untuk mendapatkan anomali magnetik. Reduksi kontinuasi ke atas pada ketinggian 10 meter bertujuan untuk memisahkan anomali lokal dan anomali regional. Pemodelan dengan metode forward modeling menggunakan software Mag2DC for windows. Hasil interpretasi kualitatif diperoleh tiga pola anomali, yaitu anomali tinggi dengan rentang nilai 120 nT - 260 nT, anomali sedang dengan rentang nilai 100 nT - 110 nT, dan anomali rendah dengan rentang nilai 40 nT - 90 nT. Interpretasi kuantitatif menunjukan bahwa di lokasi terdapat beberapa jenis batuan, seperti batu pasir dengan suseptibilitas 1 x 10-4, 3,33 x 10-4, dan 1,657 x 10-3; batu lempung dengan suseptibilitas 5,56 x 10-4, 6,71 x 10-4, 8,57 x 10-4, 9,86 x 10-4, 1,012 x 10-3, dan 1,32 x 10-3; batu gamping dengan suseptibilitas 2,07 x 10-4, dan 2,76 x 10-4; batuan metemorf jenis slate dengan suseptibilitas 2,225 x 10-3, 1,257 x 10-2, 1,314 x 10-2, dan 1,477 x 10-2. Batuan-batuan berwarna merupakan jenis batu pasir dan batu lempung yang tergolong dalam formasi aluvium.

Abstract

The mangrove ecosystem is categorized into the coastal ecosystem to be recognized and preserved so that it can be functional for the community and the environment. The community of OKL Street Library is a community group that exists in the area of the Beibleka mangrove ecosystem, Debunaruk Village – Malaka. Unfortunately, this community group is not yet familiar with both this type of mangrove species and the size of the ecosystem. The community service proposed is entitled a mangrove literacy strengthening at OKL Street Library for mangrove ecological sustainability in Debunaruk Village in the District of Malaka. This activity is targeted at the active users of OKL Street Library. The objective of this activity is to increase the knowledge in understanding various species types of mangroves ecosystem. Direct observation using information technology applications, namely Google Earth and the internet. The point is to enhance positive perception and real action in preserving the mangrove ecosystem that provides ecological and economic benefits to the community of Debunaruk-Tahak, the Dsitrict of Malaka. The area size calculation employs Google Earth and the introduction of mangrove species using the internet, through which learners are introduced to technology-based applications. This activity is conducted hand in hand between the OKL Street Library and the community service staff, both in setting the problem focus and activity alternatives. OKL SL got improvement knowledge and skills about the type and usages of mangroves and the implementation of Google Earth. We helped them by sharing some books too for the students.

Abstract

Digital information media allows the disclosure of public information and supports development. Website as a digital information media is an important way to be developed especially in the field of Government. Content Management System (CMS) is an alternative website creation without using programming. To facilitate village operators in creating and managing village information digitally, training of village website management as an information media is an important thing to do. Fafinesu C village at Insana Fafinesu District, North Central Timor Regency is the target in this program. The problems in Fafinesu C village are information system of village has not been managed properly, the absence of villace information system and the village officials still not understand about management information. The program is collaboration with Insana Fafinesu Subdistrict and Fafinesu C village. With this program, village operators can create a village website using a CMS. Website of Fafinesu C villages can publish the information about the village. The operator of village can manage the website independently. In addition, through the village website, village potentials can be published so that the village are able to develop the potential that exist.

Abstract

Perkembangan game online yang pesat seolah menjadi candu bagi sebagian besar kalangan mulai dari anak-anak hingga dewasa. Game online dapat diakses secara mudah melalui gadget. Pengaruh kecanduan terhadap game online menjadi masalah yang penting untuk diperhatikan khususnya jika terjadi pada anak-anak usia sekolah. Peran orangtua menjadi penting dalam menangani kecanduan game online. Pemahaman orang tua mengenai permainan game online dapat menjadi salah satu landasan utama dalam pengawasan anak agar dapat mengurangi efek negatif dari masalah yang tidak diharapkan. Akses game online yang berlebihan oleh anak tanpa adanya pendampingan orang tua, dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif seperti dampak sosial, dampak psikis, dan dampak fisik. Adapun peran orang tua dalam meminimalisir kecanduan game online pada anak, yaitu (a)mengawasi anak dengan memberikan batasan waktu bermain, (b)menghindari game dengan tingkat adiksi yang tinggi serta (c)memilihkan game yang dapat dimainkan bersama keluarga. Orang tua yang anaknya sudah terlanjur kecanduan bermain game online agar kiranya menerapkan hal-hal yang positif kepada anak-anaknya dalam beraktivitas setiap harinya. Sosialisasi ini telah dilakukan di RT 007 RW 036, Kelurahan Kefa Selatan, Kecamatan Kota Kefamenanu, Kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dalam beberapa tahun terakhir sangat cepat, tetapi perkembangan ini tidak merata di seluruh wilayah Indonesia. Beberapa kabupaten di propinsi NTT masih belum merasakan manfaat dari penggunaan teknologi informasi. E-commerce sebagai salah satu bagian dari teknologi informasi memegang peran penting dalam pemasaran barang dan jasa. Kelompok wanita tani yang ada di desa Usapinonot, kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara masih memasarkan produk andalan mereka yaitu Jamu Kelor secara manual, hal ini tentu menghambat kemajuan usaha dari kelompok tersebut. Kami dari program studi teknologi informasi universitas timor melakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan mengimplementasikan E-commerce pada proses pemasaran jamu kelor di kelompok wanita tani. Dengan model bisnis ini, memungkinkan perusahaan atau individu bisa membeli atau menjual barang sacara online dan jamu kelor kelompok wanita tani desa Usapinonot bisa dipromosikan lebih luas menjangkau semua wilayah yang ada di kabupaten TTU bahkan di seluruh Indonesia. Sistem penjualan yang sudah ada dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut sebagai aplikasi berbasis mobile sehingga dapat diakses semua orang langsung dengan menggunakan gadget sendiri

Abstract

The growth of information technology (IT) and science in the era of globalization has collaborated with many other fields of science and entered all fields. This resulted in the use of information technology is needed to achieve certain goals of an organization. In the business world, advances in information technology can make it easier for entrepreneurs to run their businesses, which were initially managed manually, now can be managed with a geographic information system. Marriage is a form of human relationship carried out by two people who formalize a sacred promise bond. In the process of getting married, it takes a mature preparation. Photography, decorations, invitations, sound systems, gold shops (wedding rings) and bridal make up are the six main things that are often used in weddings. The process of searching for these six things is still very manual, such as the bride and groom must first come to the photo studio, decoration rental, invitation printer, sound system renter, gold (wedding ring) shop and bridal make up to find out what is offered and in detail. so we need a geographic information system that can map wedding vendors in North Central Timor District.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi sebaran curah hujan tahunan dan kondisi hidrogeologi Kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara. Kajian tentang parameter penentu kekeringan seperti curah hujan dan kondisi hidrogeologi diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan sebagai kerangka acuan dalam mitigasi kekeringan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu tahap pengumpulan data sekunder berupa data curah hujan dan data hidrogeologi, tahapan pengolahan data dan deskripsi pata hasil. Pembuatan peta curah hujan tahunan menggunakan data CHIRPS berupa data hujan bulanan selama periode 2018-2023. Data tersebut diolah dengan Arcgis melalui local cell staticstics tools untuk mendapatkan data raster rata-rata hujan tahunan. Selanjutnya data raster diubah menjadi data point, interpolasi point dan kemudian reklasifikasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata curah hujan tahunan di Kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara adalah 1155-1893 mm/tahun. Ini mengindikasikan bahwa Kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara didominasi oleh curah hujan rendah. Kajian tentang kondisi hidrogeologi menunjukkan bahwa Kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara memiliki litologi akuifer berupa batuan gamping, endapan lepas, batuan malihan dan beku, batuan padu dan batuan volkanik, dan produktivitas akuifer didominasi oleh akuifer (bercelah atau sarang) produktif kecil dengan air tanah langka. Kedua peta dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi kekeringan.
