Abstract

Various alternatives and new innovations are needed to increase the effectiveness of providing applications that contain educational elements. One of them is the design of a 3D Adventure Game to practice memorizing short letters from the Koran which can help TPQ Al-Ikhlas students memorize and study short letters in a more fun and enjoyable atmosphere. The researcher chose TPQ Al-Ikhlas students as the target players, because TPQ Al-Ikhlas students had difficulty memorizing the Al-Quran due to the large number of verses, many verses that were similar but not the same, and also because they were not serious about memorizing the Al-Quran. The research method used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method which uses the research stages of concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing and distribution. The research results of the 3D Adventure Game Design to Train Memorizing Short Letters of the Al-Quran went well with black box testing and user acceptance tests, this game has an average indicator of "Very Good" with a percentage of 84%. This shows that this game is suitable to be used as a learning medium for TPQ students to train their memory for memorizing short letters from the Koran.

Abstract

Admission of new students is an annual activity carried out by universities, therefore it requires special preparation and handling regarding this activity. It is not uncommon for universities to have to prepare teams in advance so that implementation can be optimal. However, it cannot be denied that the majority of universities only focus on administrative matters without trying to dig up information from big data on the history of new student registration in the previous year, so that it can be used as a source of new information to determine targets and estimate the number of new students. Seeing this problem, the researcher intends to propose a solution to the problem in determining estimates of new student admissions using the forecasting method using the Simple Linear Regression Algorithm. The application of these methods and algorithms is able to provide solutions in estimating/forecasting recommendations for new students who will enter AMIK Mahaputra Riau College in the following academic year

Abstract

The latest medical developments use computers to help diagnose diseases, one of which is an expert system is a computer program that incorporates human knowledge. Nasal polyps are disorders of the nasal mucosa in the form of soft masses that can cause obstruction of the respiratory tract. This study was designed to help in diagnosing nasal polyps by using 18 symptoms as a measure to determine whether or not nasal polyps are infected. To increase the validity of the research, the Fuzzy Logic method was employed in its completion. Three steps make up the Fuzzy Logic method: the fuzzification, inference, and deffuzification procedures. This system provides questions about the symptoms experienced by the patient. Following the patient's responses to the queries they have, the system will display the results of a diagnosis of shark polyps. To gauge the degree of accuracy, Mean Percentage Absolute Error (MAPE) is employed as a relative metric. The measurement findings revelaed a tiny inaccuracy 9%, indicating that the study’s accuracy level had achieved 90,9%. The findings also demonstrated a relationship between the weight of the symptoms and the probability values NOT, POSSIBLE and CONFIDENT.

Abstract

With the development of Information Technology, learning activities and the world have also changed. Every educational institution requires good governance in order to achieve the expected goals. Campus responsible for the use of Information Technology so that when damage occurs it is not handled properly and there is a risk of data security breaches and compliance with regulations which could be detrimental to the XYZ Campus. The aim of this research is to provide recommendations in the form of IT governance design using COBIT 2019 to help XYZ campus implement the prioritized programs contained in the RENSTRA document. Data was obtained through interviews and questionnaires. The interview results show that the prioritized process domains are: EDM01, EDM03, EDM04, APO04, APO07, BAI05, BAI09, MEA04. Data analysis shows that the current IT process capability level is still on average at level 1, while the expected average is level 3 and 4, meaning that XYZ campus has not yet carried out most of the existing IT process activities so it requires a better IT governance design. appropriate to be used as a reference in realizing prioritized programs

Abstract

This research aims to analyze user satisfaction with the Go Bali Gas application. The research design employed is quantitative research. The data sources include both secondary and primary data. The research sample consists of 89 users of the Go Bali Gas application, selected using the Slovin formula. The research methodology used in this study is the PIECES Framework, consisting of 6 variabels: Performance, Information and Data, Economics, Control and Security, Efficiency, and Service. Data collection began with the distribution of questionnaires to 89 users of the application. The collected data, categorized according to each variabel, was then calculated to determine the average for each variabel. The analysis results indicate that all six variabels, namely Performance, Information and Data, Economics, Control and Security, Efficiency, and Service, received very satisfactory ratings. Based on the analysis results, respondents provided suggestions for improvement in terms of payment methods, enhancement of features for tracking delivery notifications, offering free shipping, and improving overall user service.

Abstract

This study highlights the importance of understanding student satisfaction with academic services at Universitas Prima Indonesia. Using the Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) method, the research identifies factors such as teaching quality, access to academic resources, and class schedules that influence student satisfaction. Data was collected through questionnaires and observations, then processed with ANFIS to clean, train, and test the data. The findings indicate that the variables of tangibles, responsiveness, reliability, empathy, and assurance significantly affect student satisfaction. The ANFIS model used demonstrates that student satisfaction can be predicted with relatively high accuracy, with an average root mean square error of 0.083297. This study provides guidance for improving the quality of academic services at Universitas Prima Indonesia, emphasizing the importance of professional and high-quality services to meet student expectations.

Abstract

Focusing on the many conveniences offered by online media, a new problem arises among readers who find it difficult to read because they have to search for certain news that they just want to read but are not displayed on the first page. Therefore, having a recommendation system on a news site is very necessary to make it easier for online media to display certain news that only readers want to read. Where news is new information or information about something that is happening, presented in print, broadcast, internet, or by word of mouth to third people or many people. With this recommendation system, readers no longer find it difficult to search for news that is often opened, because this system will display recommendations for news categories that are often opened at the beginning of the page for the reader. The advantage of this recommendation system is that all readers don't have to bother selecting and searching for certain news that visitors often read, because when the reader returns to the news site, the reader will immediately be treated to similar news that visitors often read. The recommendation system design here uses the PHP programming language with a website-based MySQL database using the Bubble Sort algorithm method and the Bubble Sort algorithm was chosen because the process of sorting data is by comparing the current element with the next element.

Abstract

The importance of organ learning for students at the primary and secondary education levels as a basic foundation is a crucial aspect in science and health education. However, in some schools in Indonesia, learning media still rely on conventional methods such as the use of books and anatomical models which are relatively expensive and require space. In addition, conventional media is often unable to provide an in-depth and engaging learning experience for students. This research aims to build an organ learning application utilizing augmented reality technology. The application can display human organs in 3D visual form equipped with explanations and quiz features. This research was conducted using the waterfall method starting from the problem identification stage to the testing stage. The results of the application are then tested using the blackbox testing method, where from 6 application functionalities tested show that the application runs according to the design stage.

Abstract

Elections represent the highest form of people's power and a democratic means to elect representatives and leaders. Public participation, influenced by demographics especially in the industrial sector, is a crucial indicator of an election's success. This research aims to classify the level of electoral participation in Pasuruan Regency based on demographic aspects, particularly in the industrial sector of Pasuruan Regency. The demographic dataset includes geography, population, industrial sector and other aspects at the village level sourced from the Pasuruan Regency Central Statistics Agency with a total of 80 attributes designated as predictor attributes and 2019 election recapitulation data on the level of community participation at the voting place specified as target attribute. The preprocessing steps include data cleaning, data transformation, data integration, attribute correlation, random dataset, forming two model datasets, and splitting the data with a 70:30 ratio. The method used in this research is the classification method with the Naïve Bayes algorithm. The results of the testing of model dataset 1 produced an accuracy of 61.8% and model dataset two produced an accuracy of 67.6%. The number of industries in Pasuruan Regency does not have a significant influence on the level of public participation in elections in Pasuruan Regency.

Abstract

Various technologies have been developed today, with Artificial Intelligence (AI) being a prime example. This technology has had a significant impact on our lives, assisting in tasks, jobs, and everyday activities. In this research, an artificial intelligence-based virtual assistant will be developed to facilitate and complete tasks. This artificial intelligence takes the form of a virtual assistant that answers user's questions. This artificial intelligence will be helpful in various fields, including healthcare, economics, education, technology, and more. Additional-ly, the development will focus on a mobile platform to make it user-friendly. Developing an AI-based virtual assistant on a smartphone or mobile platform is highly relevant to the current technological advancements. With this virtual assistant, users can access information or assis-tance anytime, anywhere, making it a practical solution in daily life. Furthermore, in the de-velopment of this virtual assistant, it has already undergone testing using the black-box meth-od. In these tests, the virtual assistant application has successfully passed testing for both its user interface and all of its features.
