Abstract

This study aims to review interventions that can increase marital satisfaction and sexual satisfaction in women. The method used in this research is a systematic review of databases, namely Scopus, Proquest, SAGE Journal, Taylor and Francis, on published articles from 2012-2022. The total number of reports was 8,058 related articles, and 10 met the inclusion criteria. The results showed that after the intervention, compared to before the intervention, the level of marital satisfaction increased. In contrast, the levels of depression and anxiety decreased significantly in the intervention group (p <0.05), so the intervention could increase marital satisfaction and sexual satisfaction in the intervention and control groups (p < 0.05). In conclusion, interventions to improve interpersonal relationships can also influence a person's coping mechanisms, thereby increasing marital satisfaction and psychological health. Abstract

This research aims to determine whether parental communication in adolescent reproductive health services plays a role in encouraging adolescents to utilize reproductive and sexual health services. This research method uses a literature review with a critical appraisal JBI (Joanna Briggs Institute). The search was carried out through the English and Indonesian PubMed, Science Direct, and PlosOne databases 2020-2022 using relevant keywords in different orders: “Sexual Health,” “Parents,” “Family,” “Health Services,” “Reproductive Health,” Sexual Health and Reproduction.” The research results show that the influence of parents in encouraging access to reproductive health services is the lack of parental education, adequate family economics, living with parents, and the lack of facilities provided by the local government. In conclusion, teenagers rarely use sexual and reproductive health in health facilities because parents do not allow it based on culture, which creates lousy stigmatization when visiting health facilities. There is no financial support for teenagers to access reproductive health services in health facilities, so parents play a role in increasing or not increasing the utilization of sexual and reproductive health services by adolescents. Abstract

This research aims to describe the planned change process using Kurt Lewin's theory to optimize effective communication during ward handovers by improving the nursing manager's function. The method used is a case study including assessment activities, problem analysis, preparation of planning of action (POA), implementation, and evaluation. The research results show that in the unfreezing phase, problems were found that the performance of effective communication during the handover was not optimal, so the priority strategy for solving the problem was optimizing the planning function for handover activities. In the movement phase, a POA was prepared with indicators that were successfully achieved, namely the preparation of a revised handover SPO draft and socialization of the revised SPO draft with the nursing sector, Head Nurse, and Clinical Care Manager. In contrast, this could not be done in the refreezing phase due to time constraints, so a follow-up plan was prepared and agreed with the PIC of the activity. In conclusion, the planned change process towards optimizing effective communication during handover requires an increase in the function of nursing managers, especially in the planning function. Managers must provide policies, one of which is SOP handover, and must review and revise policies to remain new and can be applied. Abstract

This study aims to review antiseptics that can be used in pin-site care to prevent pin-site infection in patients with external fixators. The research method is a systematic review, which begins with the article selection process through PRISMA, followed by an article review process to determine which articles can be reviewed. The results of a systematic review of six articles showed the benefits of using antiseptics for pin site care in preventing pin site infections. Combining chlorhexidine with other antiseptics such as alcohol and 1% silver sulphadiazine, single use of chlorhexidine, povidone iodine, emollient, and microbicidal liquid polymer has proven effective in preventing pin site infection. Chlorhexidine is considered to be used in low concentrations to minimize the risk of skin irritation. Povidone iodine has the advantage of being an antiseptic that can be easily found in hospitals and is cheap. In conclusion, antiseptics can be used to prevent pin site infections. Still, emollient skincare, a combination of 5% chlorhexidine - 1% silver sulphadiazine, and microbicidal liquid polymer still require further research due to the lack of literature and the use of ingredients that are not yet familiar.
