Abstract

This study conducts a bibliometric analysis to explore the relationship between corporate governance and firm value. Utilizing the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) framework and Scopus-indexed data, the review includes 856 publications published between 2015 and 2024. The United States and the United Kingdom emerge as the most prolific contributors to this research area. Using VOSviewer for network visualization, the analysis highlights the most influential scholars, including David Yermack, Theodore Eisenberg, Stefan Sundgren, Martin T. Wells, Allen Ferrell, Hao Liang, and Luc Renneboog. Key seminal works identified include Higher Market Valuation of Companies with a Small Board of Directors, Larger Board Size and Decreasing Firm Value in Small Firms, and Socially Responsible Firms. The review further reveals three dominant thematic clusters: agency theory, firm value, and board of directors, which collectively form the conceptual backbone of the corporate governance–firm value discourse. These findings offer a concise roadmap of the field’s foundational theories and serve as a reference point for future researchers seeking to navigate the most influential contributions.

Abstract

In an era of disruption characterized by rapid change and high complexity, work agility is key to organizational success, especially for female employees in a State-Owned Enterprise (SOEs) in Makassar. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of knowledge transfer and technological support on work agility, with psychological determinants as a mediating variable. The method used involved 100 female SOEs employees selected using purposive sampling. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that knowledge transfer and technological support significantly improved employees' psychological determinants; these psychological determinants, in turn, had a significant positive effect on work agility. Knowledge transfer had no direct effect on work agility, while technological support showed a marginal direct effect. These findings confirm that psychological determinants mediate the relationship between knowledge transfer and technological support on work agility. Practically, this study recommends developing a knowledge-sharing culture, effective technology utilization, and enhancing psychological resources to create an adaptive and resilient workforce.

Abstract

Fuel distribution in Indonesia faces significant challenges due to high transportation costs, particularly for land-based deliveries in high-volume urban corridors. This study aims to identify inefficiencies in fuel distribution operations and develop optimized routing strategies for a major energy company operating between Jakarta Integrated Terminal and Tanjung Gerem Fuel Terminal. A mixed-method approach was employed, combining Root Cause Analysis to pinpoint cost drivers and Vehicle Routing Problem models to optimize delivery routes. Data were collected through interviews, on-site observations, and internal company records from January 2025. The findings reveal that truck transportation dominates operational expenses, driven by excessive travel distances. The optimized Vehicle Routing Problem model, using multi-supply point strategies and linear programming, significantly reduces travel distances and operational costs while improving truck utilization. This study concludes that data-driven route optimization enhances cost efficiency and supports environmental sustainability by lowering fuel consumption. However, the model’s reliance on static demand assumptions limits its adaptability to real-time variations. Future research should explore dynamic routing models incorporating real-time traffic and demand data to enhance robustness. These findings offer a scalable framework for improving fuel distribution efficiency across other terminals, contributing to cost savings and sustainable logistics practices.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the structure of the manufacturing industry in Central Sulawesi, emphasizing intersectoral linkages and their contributions to output and gross value added. Using a quantitative approach based on input and output matrices, the study identifies strategic subsectors capable of generating high multiplier effects on the regional economy. The results indicate a shift in subsector dominance from agriculture and wood-based sectors to natural resource-based industries, particularly base metals and energy processing. This shift is accompanied by weakening forward linkages and increasing dependence on upstream sectors, indicating early signs of deindustrialization and limited manufacturing contribution to strengthening the domestic supply chain. The findings also indicate that only a few subsectors are capable of playing dual roles as users and providers of inputs between industries, narrowing the basis for structural transformation. The implication of this condition is the need for an industrial development strategy that encourages sector diversification, strengthens downstream processing, and improves connectivity between key subsectors. This study provides recommendations for policymakers to direct industrial development toward a more sustainable, inclusive, and long-term orientation, in order to encourage equitable and resilient regional economic growth amidst global dynamics.

Abstract

This research examines the patterns of economic development in Central Sulawesi, emphasizing the impact of capital spending, wealth disparity, poverty levels, historical Gross Regional Domestic Product, joblessness, and the Human Development Index. The investigation employs panel data from districts and cities spanning 2016-2021, utilizing a dynamic panel regression approach to assess how lagged independent variables affect contemporary economic expansion. Analysis findings demonstrate that municipal capital investments significantly and positively influence economic development, suggesting that government expenditure on infrastructure and human capital serves as a primary catalyst for enhanced regional economic performance. On the other hand, income inequality and unemployment have a significant negative influence, indicating that social inequality and low labor utilization are obstacles to growth. The poverty and Human Development Index variables showed a not significant influence, indicating the need for further studies related to the mediation variables and a longer observation period. Past Gross Regional Domestic Product has also been shown to have a significant positive effect, confirming the effect of temporal dependence in the regional economic development process. These findings strengthen the understanding of the importance of effective fiscal policies and efforts to reduce inequality and unemployment to promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth in Central Sulawesi.
